Abstract

Un télécinéma est configuré sélectivement pour évaluer la densité des colorants des négatifs ou des pellicules positives. La pellicule (10) est placée sur la trajectoire d'un rayon lumineux (12) entre une source de lumière (14) et un capteur (16) qui produit une pluralité de signaux de couleurs à partir de la lumière qui traverse la pellicule. Des filtres de canal de couleurs (38, 40, 42) compris dans le capteur possèdent des bandes passantes spectrales, présentant les couleurs respectives, qui sont suffisamment larges pour comprendre les densités spectrales des colorants des négatifs et des pellicules positives. On limite la sensibilité du télécinéma à une pellicule donnée en plaçant un ensemble de filtres conformateurs appropriés (44, 45) dans la trajectoire de la lumière, de préférence entre la source de lumière et la pellicule, afin d'adapter la sensibilité de crête d'au moins une des bandes passantes à la densité spectrale de crête du colorant correspondant de la pellicule en question.
