Abstract

On décrit un appareil et procédé pour mélanger des déchets solides ou semi-solides avec un ou plusieurs additifs de manière à réaliser un produit final solide non polluant. Une trémie de réception (22) équipé de transporteurs à vis du type à palettes à déchiqueter (56) reçoit les déchets solides, réduit la dimension des mottes présentes dans les déchets et les décharge dans une trémie de préparation (24). Ladite trémie est équipée d'un mécanisme de pesage permettant de déterminer la quantité de déchets chargée dans la trémie, et ainsi de calculer la quantité d'additif(s) appropriée. Le mélange de déchets et d'additif(s) est ensuite transféré à une mélangeuse à pointes (36) afin d'être homogénéisé. Le mélange homogénéisé peut alors être transporté par véhicule ou par une canalisation au site d'élimination définitive.
