Abstract

Un dispositif de détection destiné à être monté sur un véhicule (10) émet un signal indiquant la présence d'un objet (13) sur le chemin du véhicule. Le dispositif comprend un émetteur/récepteur à microondes (16), un objectif (21) à travers lequel passent les radiations émises et reçues par l'émetteur/récepteur (16), ainsi que de moyens permettant de modifier la divergence du faisceau (11) de radiations. De préférence, le degré de divergence est adapté en fonction de la vitesse du véhicule.
