Abstract

Une caméra panoramique (7) comporte un système photodétecteur du type à transfert de charges (12), un système optique de focalisation (11) d'un secteur du champ d'observation et un système mécanique d'entraînement (17) en rotation du support d'axe vertical de l'ensemble. Le système de photodétection (12) de la caméra panoramique comporte au moins un module (M1, M2...Mk) constitué de barrettes jointives (b1 à bn) disposées verticalement, des moyens (4, 15, 18, 6) permettant d'ntégrer (en mode TDi) les charges en synchronisme avec la rotation du support, des moyens (13, 14) pour varier le nombre de barrettes activées et pour comparer (20) les niveaux de luminance reçus (S1, S2...Sk) successivement par les cellules élémentaires (E1, E2, Ej) des différentes barrettes situées à une même hauteur (H1, H2, Hj). L'invention s'applique à la recherche de cible et à la détection rapide des fausses alarmes dues aux crêtes de bruit.
