Abstract

Un appareil (1) servant à faire sécher des piles (3) de documents ou de livres comprend un compartiment de séchage supérieur (2) et une unité de déshumidification (4) logée dans un compartiment inférieur (5). Un radiateur à air pulsé (6) fait recirculer l'air à travers les compartiments (4, 5). Des couches de plaques absorbant l'humidité (10) sont placées en contact étroit avec les livres (9) et étroitement pressées contre ceux-ci. Les plaques (10) absorbent l'humidité des livres et sont ensuite séchées par l'air recirculant (voir Fig. 1). La Fig. 3 représente l'appareil (101) servant à faire sécher des feuilles de papier individuelles retenues entre des transporteurs supérieur et inférieur (102, 103). Les feuilles de papier sont transportées le long d'emplacements de traitement et sortent, séchées, du côté de sortie de l'appareil.
