この発明は電気エネルギーをフライホィールの回転運動の運動エネルギーに変 えて貯蔵する鼋カ貯蔵装置に関する。
従来技術
従来、 電気エネルギーをフライホイールの回転運動による運動エネルギーに変 えて貯蔵する電力貯蔵装置が研究されている。
このような電力貯蔵装置は、 回転軸にフライホイールを設けたロータと、 この ロータ.に回転駆動用の駆動電力を供給すると共に、 ロータの回転駆動後はロータ の回転により発生する誘導起電力を取 すコイルを備えたステータと、 ロータの 回転軸を回転可能に支持する軸受手段と、 前記ステータとこの軸受手段を備え、 前記ロータを内蔵するケーシングとを備えている。 これらの軸受の摩擦損失を減 ずるために、 強度的に余裕のない設計が採用され、 耐震性は低い。 但し、 事故に よる飛散防止のため強固な容器の中に収納される場合が多い。
地盤からケーシングに伝達される地震や振動によってロータが外れないように 地盤とケーシングとの振動伝達を絶縁するために、 パネ定数の低い弾性部材でケ 一シングを地盤に支持しょうとする試みもある。
発明が解決しょうとする課題
しかしながら、 このような電力貯蔵装置の場合、 パネ定数の低い弾性部材によ つてケー.シングを支持すると、 ロータの回転によリケーシングに作用する反力に よリケーシングが揺動してロータの安定支持が難しいという問題が生ずる。 発明の目的
本発明にかかる電力貯蔵装置は、 このような課題に着目したものであり、 ケー シングを地盤から弾性支持させ、 更に、 ケージングにロータの揺動を与えないよ うにすることを目的とする。
発明の開示
上記目的を達成するために、 本発明にかかる電力貯蔵装置は、
慣性力により回転を維持させるフライホイールを備える複数のロータと、 各々 のロータの回転方向が互いに逆方向となり、 且つ回転数を等しく保ちながら增滅 するための電気回路と、 少なくとも一組以上の前記ロータを軸受ゃケ一シングと 共に、 緩衝装置を介して地盤に設置したことを特徴とする
本発明にかかる電力貯蔵装置によれば、 一組のロータの回転数は 1パーセン卜 以下の誤差で、 常に同一になるように制御されているので、 、 入力や出力を変動 させる反力としてのトルクは互いに相殺され、 電力貯蔵装置の揺動が解消される。 しかも、 固有振動数が 0. 3以下になるように軟らかいパネで地盤に支持されてい るので、 地震の時に地盤から装置に伝わろうとする力は 1Z10以下に弱められる。

ブロック 3は、 本実施例では、 高さ 5メートル、 幅 1 0メートルの矩形状とさ れ、 2 0 tの重量を有するものであり、 内部に一対のケーシング 4、 5を備えて いる。 ブロック 3は、 図 4に示すように、 ピッ ト 2の底壁に 1 6本設けられる髙 剛性の空気パネ 6 aと、 側壁に設けられ横方向に付勢する中剛性の空気パネ 6 b により支持されている。 空気パネ 6 aの軸方向剛性は 1 0 t Zメートル、 載荷力 は 2 0 tである。 空気パネ 6 bの載荷力は 1 0 tである。 尚、 高剛性の空気パネ 6 aの代わりに耐展ゴムを、 空気バネ 6 bの代わりにコイルスプリングを用いて も-良い。 ブロック 3の水平方向の剛性は 4 0 tズメートルである。 ブロック 3の 底壁部 3 aには補強用の梁部 3 bが矩形の対角線方向に立設されていると共に、 ブロック 3の内側は縦壁部 3 c, 3 dによって仕切られている。 縦壁部 3 c, 3 dによって仕切られ、 対角線上に位置する格納室 7 a, 7 bにそれぞれケーシン グ 4、 5等が配設される。
ケーシング 4、 5は格納室 7 a, 7 bの梁部 3 bの交差する部位の上に搭載さ れ、 しかも、 縦壁部 3 c, 3 dによって側面部がボルトなどによって移動不能に 固定されている。 又、 格納室 7 cには放熱用の排気系の装置 8 aが配設され、 格 納室 7 dには電力貯蔵装置 1の制御盤 8 bが収納されている。 ブロック 3の水平 方向の固有振動数は 0 . 2 H zであり、 ブロック 3の垂直方向の固有振動数は 0. 3 H zとなる。 地篾波の振動数は 1 H z以上であり、 本設備の 3倍以上である。 振動の伝達を解析した図 11によると、 固有振動の 3倍以上の周波数の外力は約 1 / 1 0以下に滅じられるので、 本設備は地震の変位に対してほぼ絶縁されている。 尚、 耐震ゴムを用いた場合は垂直揺動に対する絶縁は不十分であるが、 重置の 2 0〜3 0パーセン卜の慣性力が垂直に発生するだけであるから、 軸受は許容でき る。 ケーシング 4、 5の上部は図 5に示すようにブロック 3の上蓋部 3 eにより 固定されている。
ケーシング 4、 5は一組とされ、 それぞれ外径 5メートル長さ 4メートルで 2 0 tの重量を有しており、 ブロック 3の一部として支持手段を構成している。 ケ 一シング 4、 5内には、 図 2に示すように、 3 0 tの重量を有するロータ 9がそ 新た な ffi ¾ れぞれ回転可能に支持されでいる。 ケ一シング 4、 5の上壁部にはロータ 9の回 転軸 9 aを支持する軸受部 1 0が設けられておリ、 ケーシング 4、 5の側壁部内 側にはロータ 9のフライホイール 1 1…の下面部を支持するためのフランジ 1 2 …が突設されている。 フランジ 1 2…の上方への軸受能力は 1 0 0 t、 下方への 支持能力は 1 0 t、 水平方向の支持能力は 1 0 tである。
フランジ 1 2…の中央の周緣部には溝が設けられ、 超電導ペレツ卜 1 3が揷入 されている。 超罨導ペレツ卜 1 3はフランジ 1 2の内部に設けられた図示しない 冷却装置によリ、 液体窒素で冷却される。 超電導ペレツト 1 3は、 磁石 1 4とと もにロータ 9を浮かせて支持する軸受手段を構成しており、 超電導ペレツト 1 3 を冷却させて磁石 1 4との相互間で反発力を生じ'させることにより、 ロータ 9が 浮き上がるようになっている。 ケ一シング 5には、 ケーシング 4のロータ 9と同 じ構成で質量を有するロータ 9が配設されている。
ロータ 9の回転軸 9 aには、 ケーシング 4内に配設された驩動コイル 1 5の通 鷺により駆動される電気子 1 6が形成されている。 ケーシング 4とケーシング 5 とにおいて、 両者の駆動コイル 1 5及び電気子 1 6は、 ロータ 9の回転方向が互 いに反対方向になるように磁力を焭生する。 即ち、 図 1においてケ一シング 4の ロータ 9が右回転する場合、 ケーシング 5のロータ 9は同じ回転速度で左側に回 転するようになっており、 ケーシング 4、 5のそれぞれのロータ 9、 9が発生す るトルクの作用方向が反対となり、 作甩するトルクが同じとなり、 ケーシング 4、 5がブロック 3に固定されているので、 それぞれのロータ 9、 9の回転により発 生するトルクが解消され、 ブロック 3自体にロータ 9、 9の回転時の反方が作用 することがない。
フライホイール 1 1は、 駆勖コイル 1 5の通電によリロータ 9全体を回転駆動 させた後に駆軌コイル 1 5の通電を停 ihした場合に、 ロータ 9全体の回転を慣性 力にょリ維持させるもので、 ロータ 9全体が惧性力で回転するときに、 駆動コィ ル 1 5に負荷を接蔬すると電気エネルギーを取出すことが出来るものである。 本 実施例でば、 ロータ 9は 3 0 0 O Kwの発電能力を有し、 一つのフライホイール 1 1がロータ 9の回転を維持させるための有効対向面積は 2平方メートルであり、 2 O tの押上能力、 2 tの押し下げ能力、 2 tの水平収束能力を有しており、 本 実施例では、 ロータ 9は 5枚のフライホイール 1 1を有しているので、 1 0 0 t の押上能力を備えている。
本実施例にかかる電力貯蔵装置 1によれば、 電力の余剰がある場合にブロック 3内のケージング 4、 5に内蔵される駆動コイル 1 5に通電してロータ 9を回転 駆動すると、 最大 4 5 0 0 r p mで回転駆動される。 このときケーシング 4、 5 のそれぞれには 8 t mのトルクが発生するが、 ケーシング 4、 5がブロック 3に 固定されており、 しかも、 ケージング 4、 5のそれぞれのロータ 9の回転方向が 反対で、 回転速度が等しく、 更に質量が等しいので、 それぞれのロータ 9、 9に よって発生する回転トルクが相殺される。 即ち、 ブロック 3にはロータ 9、 9の 回転による反力が生じることがないこととなり .ロータ 9、 9の回転に基づくブ ロック 3の揺動が防止される。 ブロック 3は'空気パネ 6 a , 6 bによりコンクリ 一卜ピッ ト 2に支持されているので、 地靄による縦横方向の振動からブロック 3 3、遮 ¾Γされる。
図 6〜図 8は、 本発明の第 2実施例にかかる電力貯蔵装置 2 0を示したもので あリ、 この電力貯蔵装置 2 0を 1 0 0 m四方の変電所の中に 2 0台配設して昼夜 の負荷を平準化する。 全体で 2 4 0 0 0 K w X 5 hの電力量が貯蔵可能である。 この第 2実施例では第 1実施例に示すケーシング 4、 5が、 それぞれのロータ 9の回転軸 9 aが同一軸上に位置するように、 縦方向に重合されて固定されるこ とによリーブロックとしての支持手段を構成している。 ケージング 4、 5のロー タ 9、 9は互いに同じ質量を有し、 回転方向が反対で、 等しい回転速度で回転さ れる。 ケーシング 4、 5の上部にはそれぞれ固定用平板 2 1が固定され、 ケージ ング 4、 5の下部には固定用のフランジ 2 2が突設されており、 固定用平板 2 1 とフランジ 2 2とのボルト結合によりケーシング 4、 5は一体となっている。
この電力貯蔵装置 2 0は、 地盤 2 3に固定された直径 7 m深さ 1 8 mの円筒型 のコンクリートピット 2 4内部に配設されるもので、 上部に配設されるケ一シン グ 4の固定用平板 2 1はコンクリートピット 2 4の上部開口部から上下方向に延 びるスプリング 2 5に懸垂されている。 スプリング 2 5の剛性は 1 0 t Zm、 載 荷力 2 0 t程度のもので、 図 8に示すように放射状に延びる 1 2本のスプリング 2 5によりケ一シング 4、 5を懸垂する。 ケーシング 4、 5の側壁部はコンクリ
新た な ft 一卜ピッ卜 2 4の内壁面から水平方向でありケーシング 4、 5の円筒型周壁の接 線方向に延びるスプリング 2 6、 スプリング 2 7によって引張されている。 スプ リング 2 6、 2 7はスプリング 2 5より低剛^ ¾であり、 1 0 t程度の載荷力を有 する。 スプリング 2 7は電力貯蔵装置 2 0の横ブレを防いでぉリ、 スプリング 2 6は罨カ貯蔵装置 2 0のトルクの緩和に用いられている。 スプリング 2 6、 2 7 の代わリに空気バネ、 ゴムを用いても良いのは勿論であり、 縦方向に重^"したケ 一シング 4、 5を第 1実施例の如く空気パネによってコンクリートピット 2 4の 底壁部から支持しても良い。
図 9、 図 1 0は第 2実施例の電力貯蔵装置の電気糸統並びに力学系統の概念図 を示したもので、 図&において静止状態の電気子 1 6を駆動し、 且つ慣性による 電気子 1 6の回転時に誘導電流を電力として取出すことができる駆動コイル 1 5 には交流直流変換機 (AZD変換機) 3 0が接続され、 交流直流変換機 3 0には 増幅機 (DZD変換機) 3 1が接続されている。 ケーシング 4、 5の増幅機 3 1、 3 1は更に交流直流変換機 (D/A変換機) 3 2が接続されている。 この交流直 流変換機 3 2には、 発電機 3 3と負荷 3 4が接続されており、 静止している電気 子 1 6を駆動する場合には負荷 3 4への接続を切って駆動コイル 1 5、 Ί 5に電 流を加えて電気子 1 6を回転させ、 ロータ 9、 9を回転させる。 ロータ 9、 9の 回転後には発罨機 3 3と直流交流変換機 3 2との電気的接続を切ってロータ 9、 9を慣性により回転させる。 ロータ 9、 9が慣性により回転しているときに、 口 ータ 9、 9の回転から電気エネルギーを取出す場合には、 負荷 3 4を直流交流変 換機 3 2に接続する。 これによつて、 駆動コイル 1 5に発生した誘導電流は、 交 流直流変換機 3 0により直流に変換され fe後に、 増幅機 3 1において増幅され、 直流交流変換機 3 2により交流に変換されて負荷 3 4に入力される。 尚、 3 5は 電気子 1 6の回転数を検出する回転計であり、 回転計 3 5は電気子 1 6を回転駆 軌させるときに電気子 1 6の回転数のデータを増幅度の調整信号として增幅機 3 1に送僂する。 また、 回転計 3 5はロータ 9、 9の慣性回転による電気子 1 6の 回転時に、 電気子 1 6の回転数データを増幅度の調整信号として増幅機 3 1に送 信する。
図 1 0は、 電力貯蔵装置 2 0の固有振動数 (H z ) を求めるための力学的モデ ルであり、 ケーシング 4のロータ 9の質量を Mll、 ケーシング 4の電気子 1 6の 質量を M12、 ケーシング 5のロータ 9の質量を M21、 ケーシング 5の電気子 1 6 の質量を M22、 ケーシング 4の質量を M13、 ケーシング 5の質量を M23とし、 ス プリング 2 5のパネ定数を Kl、 スプリング 2 7のパネ定数を Κ2、 スプリング 2 6のパネ定数を Κ3とし、 回転軸 9 aに対して作用するフライホイール 1 1の 2次 モーメン卜の等価半径を R3とし、 回転軸 9 aの回転中心線からトルク緩和のスプ リング 2 6の取付け位置までの水平距離を R4とすると、 次のような計算式が成立 する。
.即ち、 上下方向の固有振動数 (H z) を Aとし、 水平方向の固有振動数 (H z) を Bとし、 回転方向の固有振動数 (H z) を Cとすると、 下記の式となる。

図 11は、 この計算式に基づいて電力貯蔵装置 20の上下、 水平、 回転方向の 各固有振動数と振動の伝達率を示したグラフであり、 X軸は電力貯蔵装置 2 0の 固有振動数 (Η ζ ) を示し、 Υ軸はスプリング 2 5、 26、 2 7により緩和され た振動伝達率 (パーセント) を示している。 このグラフにおいては、 地盤の振動 の周波数を 1 Η ζとしている。
このグラフによると、 スプリング 25、 26、 27を含めた電力貯蔵装 g 20 の固有振動数を 1 H zとした場合に、 振動伝達率がもっとも髙くなる。 そして、 固有振動数を 1よリ大きくすると振動伝達率がピークをすぎて減少するが、 ほぼ 1以下にならない。 しかしながら、 電力貯蔵装置 20固有振動数を 1以下に設定 すると、 振動伝達率の著しい減少が見られ、 固有振動数が 0. 3 H zの場合には、
靳た な 用紙 振動伝達率がほぼ 0 . 1となる。 即ち、 上下、 水平、 回転方向の固有振動数をそ れぞれ、 0. 3 H z以下に設定すると、 上下、 水平、 回転方向の振動伝達率はそ れぞれ 0. 1以下となる。 従って、 電力貯蔵装 S 2 0の上下、 水平、 回転方向の 固有振動数をそれぞれ、 0 . 3 H z以下に設定すると、 地貧などの振動が電力貯 蔵装置 2 0に対して伝達する割合が非常に滅少し、 ロータ 9を高速回転させても 安全性が確保できる。
このように、 この実施例によれば、 筒型のコンクリートピット 2 4の中にケ —シング 4、 5を重合させて格納するので、 第 1実施例の効果に加え、 ケーシン グ 4、 5が外れるような万一の事故に対して 2重の安全性を確保できる。 '
産業上の利用可能性 .,
本発明にかかる鼋カ貯蔵装置は、 以上述べたように、 電力貯蔵あるいは放出時 に一組のロータを增速ぁるいは滅速させても、 各々のロータからケ一シングに伝 達される反作用としての回転トルクが相殺され、 電力貯蔵装置全体の揺動が解消 される。 しかも、 軟らかいパネで地盤に支持されているので、 地農時に地盤から 装置に伝わる力は極めて小さ.く ロータ、 ケーシング、 軸受等が破壊される危険 性が著しく滅少する。 即ち、 本発明により、 安全性を低めることなく、 スリムで、 摩擦損失の小さい電力貯蔵装置を設計、 製造することができる。

( 1 ) 地震の振動を吸収可能な懸架装 Sを介して地盤に支持される支持手段に、 慣性力にょリ回転を維持させるフライホイールを各々備えるとともに、 各々の回 転方向が互いに正逆方向であり且つ回転トルクが等しい値を示す少なくとも一組 のロータを回転可能に支持させたことを特徴とする ¾力貯蔵装置。
( 2 ) 請求の範囲 (1) 記載の電力貯蔵装置であって、 前記一組のロータの回転軸 は互いに平行とされていることを特徴とする電力貯蔵装置。
( 3 ) 請求の範囲 (1) 記載の電力貯蔵装置であって、 前記一対のロータの回転軸 は同一回転中心線上に位置していることを特徴とする電力貯蔵装置。
