Abstract

Sur cette vis spéciale, un filetage se trouve aux deux extrémités. A une extrémité de la vis, destinée à être introduite dans le fragment d'os correspondant, se trouve un filetage grossier adapté aux tissus de type spongieux ou cortical (Fig. 1c). Sur l'autre extrémité de la vis, destinée à être fixée sur des éléments de fixation du système fixateur externe, on forme un filetage au pas métrique ISO (a). Cette extrémité filetée de la vis se caractérise, du fait de l'utilisation de contre-écrous, par une stabilité élevée lors de l'opération de fixation des vis. La transformation des couples de rotation des écrous en mouvement linéaire de la vis apporte une possibilité de repositionnement supplémentaire des fragments d'os (Fig. 10).
