Definitions

  • the present utility model refers to a device for driving awnings of trucks, trailers and the like, which allows to extend and / or pick up the awning automatically, without having to mount or disassemble it manually.
  • the awnings of trucks and in general of any cargo vehicle can be in many cases a great obstacle to loading and unloading operations, being necessary to collect them to facilitate these operations, for example by means of loading devices.
  • the collection of the awning is not sufficient to have the entire free surface, since the arches or trusses cross the box and can constitute an obstacle to cargo handling.
  • Arches or trusses can also be arranged so that they are removable, but they increase the work and opening and closing time of the awning.
  • the purpose of this utility model is to develop a device for driving awnings in trucks and cargo vehicles in general, by means of which the awning can be extended or picked up automatically, at the same time that the displacement is achieved in the proper direction of the transverse arches or trusses that support the awning.
