Abstract

Ovulationshemmendes Mittel zur hormonalen Kontrazeption, mit zwei in einer Verpackungseinheit räumlich getrennt konfektionierten, zur zeitlich sequentiellen oralen Verabreichung bestimmten Hormonkomponenten, die jeweils aus einer Anzahl räumlich getrennt und einzeln entnehmbar in der Verpackungseinheit untergebrachter Hormon-Tageseinheiten bestehen, wobei die eine Hormonkomponente ('Östrogenkomponente') als hormonellen Wirkstoff im wesentlichen ausschließlich ein eine Störung der Follikelreifung bewirkendes Östrogenpräparat und die andere Hormonkomponente ('Östrogen-Gestagen-Komponente') in Kombination ein Östrogen- und in mindestens zur Ovulationshemmung ausreichender Dosierung ein Gestagenpräparat enthält, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es alternierend (eine) Östrogenkomponente(n) mit 5-14 Tageseinheiten und (eine) Östrogen-Gestagen-Komponente(n) mit 23-14 Tageseinheiten umfaßt; daß die Anzahl der Östrogen- und Östrogen-Gestagen-Komponenten gleich ist; daß die Anzahl der Tageseinheiten in der/den Östrogenkomponente(n) geringer als die Anzahl der Tageseinheiten in der/den Östrogen-Gestagen-Komponente(n) ist; und daß in dem Fall, daß als Östrogenpräparat Ethinylestradiol verwendet wird, die Ethinylestradioldosis pro Tageseinheit höchstens 30 νg beträgt.
