L'invention concerne un système de construction par blocs pour l'édification d'une colonne publicitaire cylindrique à éclairage intérieur, présentant une partie fonctionnelle destinée à recevoir des moyens d'utilisation publique, ainsi qu'une colonne publicitaire édifiée à partir d'éléments de construction dudit système. Le système de construction par blocs comprend, conformément à l'invention, les éléments suivants: une grande plaque de base circulaire et une petite plaque de base (6, 9) présentant une ouverture verticale de sortie obturable (20); des segments circulaires (10) présentant une surface de base et une collerette s'étendant verticalement vers le haut; des portions de surface enveloppante cylindriques autoporteuses (11, 12, 13, 14, 15), dont les arcs de cercle occupent 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/5, 1/6, 1/8 et 1/10 du pourtour circulaire de la colonne, ces portions (11, 12, 13, 14, 15) couvrant toute la surface (11, 14) ou au moins chacune présentant une surface transparente intégrée (12, 15) et/ou une porte intégrée (13); un élément formant abri, de forme tronconique (18); un petit cylindre creux muni d'une porte intégrée (16); un montant longitudinal parallélépipèdique (17); une plaque adaptatrice circulaire (19) munie d'une ouverture verticale de sortie obturable (20, 21) circulaire ou formée de segments annulaires; et un toit (5) constitué par une tête de colonne (22) munie, selon une variante, d'un récepteur d'énergie solaire (23) entraîné pour suivre le déplacement du soleil.
