Abstract

L'invention concerne des séquences peptidiques permettant l'adhérence de mycobactéries à des cellules hôtes, notamment à des cellules épithéliales. Plus particulièrement, l'invention concerne un antigène mycobactérien de type hémagglutinine de liaison à l'héparine (HBHA) obtenu à partir de Mycobacterium bovis BCG ou Mycobacterium tuberculosis. L'invention concerne aussi une séquence peptidique recombinante permettant l'adhérence de mycobactéries à des cellules hôtes. L'invention concerne notamment le produit d'expression d'une souche Escherichia coli transformée avec une séquence nucléotidique codant pour une protéine permettant l'adhérence de mycobactéries à ces cellules hôtes. Ces séquences peptidiques peuvent être utilisées dans des compositions immunogènes, pour la préparation de vaccins contre les infections mycobactériennes, et pour le diagnostic sérologique d'infections mycobactériennes.
