従来から一般にガラス板等の被処理基板に紫外線吸収性を付与するには、 ( 1 ) 紫外線吸収性の物質を用いて被処理基板を処理する方法と、 (2 ) 多層膜によ る多重反射を利用する方法とがある。 (2 ) の多層膜による多重反射は、 カツ 卜 波長を自由に調節できる、 クリアカツ 卜が可能であるという点で優れているが、 作業工程が多く コスト的に問題がある。 (1 ) の紫外線吸収性の物質で処理する 方法には、 無機系紫外線吸収剤を用いる場合と有機系紫外線吸収剤を用いる場合 がある。
無機系紫外線吸収剤 (例えば特開平 5 _ 3 3 9 0 3 3号公報、 特開平 5 - 3 4 5 6 3 9号公報、 特開平 6 - 5 6 4 6 6号公報等) では、 耐候性、 耐熱性等の耐 久性が優れる反面、 吸収波長が化合物のバンドギヤ ップによつて決定されるため 、 自由度が少なく、 また 4 0 0 n m近辺の紫外線領域までクリアにカツ 卜できる ものはなく、 さらに長波長力ッ トでは着色を伴うものが多い。
これに対して有機系紫外線吸収剤は吸収帯に幅があるため、 吸収剤の種類や濃 度、 膜厚を選ぶことにより様々な吸収波長のものを得ることができる。 これまで 種々の有機系紫外線吸収剤を用いた系が検討されており、 長波長領域までカツ ト する場合には、 最大吸収波長が長波長領域にあるものを用いるか、 濃度もしくは 膜厚を大きくするかの 2通りが考えられている。 しかし、 最大吸収波長が長波長 領域にあるもの (例えば特開平 6— 1 4 5 3 8 7号公報等) は耐光性が悪く、 吸 収能が時間とともに減少してしまう。 上記特開平 6 - 1 4 5 3 8 7号公報におい ては、 蛍光增白剤を用いるため蛍光により透視性が悪くなるという問題もある。 これに対してべンゾフエノン系やべンゾトリアゾ一ル系の紫外線吸収剤は比較 的耐光性も良く、 濃度や膜厚を大きくすれば長波長領域まで比較的ク リアに力ッ 卜できる。 しかし、 通常これらの紫外線吸収剤を樹脂等に混ぜて塗布する場合、 膜厚は数十; u m程度が限界である。 この膜厚で長波長領域までカツ 卜しようとす るとかなり高濃度に紫外線吸収剤を添加する必要がある。 しかしながら、 単に高 濃度に添加しただけでは紫外線吸収剤の析出や長期使用によるプリ一ドアゥ 卜が 生じるという問題がある。
このため、 樹脂と反応させてこれらを防ごうという試みが多くなされている。 例えばァク リル樹脂等に共重合させる等の試みがなされているが (特開平 2— 2
4 8 4 1 2号公報、 特開平 6— 8 8 0 6 4号公報等) 、 ァクリル樹脂自体が耐候 性、 耐熱性に難があるため、 とても長期使用には耐えられない。 また耐候性、 耐 熱性に優れるシリコーン樹脂と反応しうる紫外線吸収剤を用いた系についても種 々検討がなされている (例えば特公昭 6 1 - 5 4 8 0 0号公報、 特開平 2 - 1 1
7 9 2 8号公報、 特公平 3 - 4 5 0 9 4号公報等) 。 しかし、 紫外線吸収剤の合 成が工業的に難しかったり、 耐久性に問題が生じるものが多いのが実状である。 従って、 本発明の目的の一つは、 合成が容易で、 長期に渡る使用においても紫 外線吸収剤がブリードアゥ 卜せず、 高濃度に紫外線吸収剤を含有させて長波長力 ッ トを実現しても弊害の生じない紫外線吸収材料を提供することにあり、 他の目 的の一つは、 耐候性、 耐熱性に優れ、 且つ長期使用においても紫外線吸収剤がブ リー ドアゥ 卜せず、 可視領域の透過率を低下させずに紫外線の長波長領域まで力 ッ 卜することが可能な紫外線吸収板を提供することにある。 発明の開示
本発明の紫外線吸収材料は、 (a ) 下記一般式 (1 ) に示されるァミノ シラン 化合物またはその誘導体と、

上記被処理基板が複数の透明基板を積層してなると共に、 これら透明基板間の 少なく とも 1箇所に上記紫外線吸収層が設けられていることが好ましい。
上記紫外線吸収層上にォ一バーコ一ト層を有することが好ましい。
上記被処理基板の紫外線吸収層側に透明導電膜を有することが好ましい。 上記紫外線吸収層と透明導電膜との間にオーバーコ一ト層を有することが好ま しい。 図面の簡単な説明

本発明における被処理基板と しては、 透明基板でも不透明基板でもよく 、 また これら基板を複数積層した複数板でもよい。
透明基板と しては、 特に限定されないが、 例えば、 無色あるいは有色ガラス、 暴りガラス、 網入りガラス、 熱線反射ガラス、 熱線吸収ガラス、 強化ガラス、 ガ ラスブロッ ク等が用いられる他、 無色あるいは有色の透明性を有する樹脂でも良 い。 透明性を有する樹脂と しては、 ポリエチレンテレフタレー ト、 ポリア ミ ド、 ポリサルフォン、 ポリエーテルサルフォ ン、 ポリエーテルケ ト ン、 ポリ フエニレ ンサルファイ ド、 ポリカーボネー ト、 ポリイ ミ ド、 ポリ メチルメ 夕ク リ レー 卜、 ポリ スチレン等が挙げられる。
本発明における透明とは、 3〜 1 0 0 %、 好ま しく は 1 0〜 1 0 0 %の可視光 透過率を有することである。 本発明における基板とは、 常温において平滑な面を 有するものであり、 その面は平面あるいは曲面であってもよく、 また応力によつ て変形するものであってもよく、 また容器状のものであってもよい。
不透明基板の材質としては、 特に限定されないが、 例えば、 ソーダ石灰ガラス 、 ホウゲイ酸ガラス等の各種のガラス、 合成樹脂、 紙、 木材、 織布、 不織布、 編 み物並びにこれらの 2種以上から構成される複合材料が使用可能である。 上記し た合成樹脂と しては、 ポリエチレンテレフタ レー ト、 ポリ アミ ド、 ポリサルフォ ン、 ポリエーテルサルホン、 ポリ フエ二レンサルフアイ ド、 ポリカーボネ一 卜、 ポリイ ミ ド、 ポリメチルメ タク リ レー ト、 ポリスチレン等が挙げられる。 不透明 基材は白色または有色であつて差し支えない。
本発明における不透明とは、 可視光を実質的に通さないことを指し、 本発明の 不透明基体は、 通常、 厚さ 2 /mにおいて、 光透過率が 3 %未満、 好ましく は 2 %未満が望ま しい。 本発明で使用される不透明基材は、 巨視的に見て所謂面を有 しているのが通常であるが、 その面は微視的に見て平滑である必要はない。 また 、 不透明基材の面は平面であっても、 曲面であっても差し支えなく、 その面は外 力によって変形しても差し支えない。 本発明における紫外線吸収層は、 ァ ミ ド結合 (― C ONH -) および S i — 0 結合を有することが必須である。 好ま しく は、 ア ミ ド結合と S i 一 0結合とが、 さらに何らかの結合基により結合している構造を具備するのが望ま しい。
結合基と しては、 例えば
(a) 炭素数 1〜1 0、 好ま しく は 1〜5のアルキレン基、
(b) 一般式—(C H2) m-NH- (mは l≤m≤ 4の整数) で表される 2価の 基、
( c ) 上記 (a) または (b) に由来する残基
等が挙げられる。
紫外線吸収層中のァ ミ ド結合および S i —0結合の含有量は、 ァ ミ ド結合 1モ ルに対して S i 一 0結合が、 通常 1〜 5 0モル、 好ま しく は 1〜 3 0モル、 さ ら に好ま しく は 1〜 1 5モルの範囲が望ま しい。
本発明の紫外線吸収板の好適な態様と しては、 透明基板と紫外線吸収層からな る紫外線吸収透明板を沸騰ァセ トンで 2 4時間抽出した際に、 下記数式 (1 )

(ただし、 抽出前の吸光度が実質 1における紫外線領域の任意の一波長での吸光 度を用いて計算する) にて定義される紫外線吸収能変化率が 4 0 %以下、 好まし くは 3 0 %以下、 さらに好ましくは 1 5 %以下であることが望ましい。 なお、 紫 外線吸収能の変化は紫外線吸収スぺク トルにより容易に確認できる。 例えば、 図 1 2に紫外線吸収能変化率の求め方の原理をモデル的に示したが、 この図から明 らかなように、 抽出前の吸光度が 1における波長は、 約 3 8 3 n mであり、 一方 、 当該波長における抽出後の吸光度は約 0 . 0 7である。 したがって、 この場合 の紫外線吸収能変化率は 9 3 %と箅出される。
紫外線吸収能変化率は、 通常、 紫外線吸収層を形成する際に用いる紫外線吸収 性化合物 (通常、 有機紫外線吸収性化合物である) に由来する成分がアセ トン中 に溶出するため起こるのであるが、 紫外線吸収層内において紫外線吸収成分が他 の部材と化学的結合を形成している場合、 紫外線吸収成分は実質的に溶出しない 例えば、 紫外線吸収層を形成する際に紫外線吸収性化合物として、 ベンゾトリ ァゾール骨格またはべンゾフ ノ ン骨格を有する有機紫外線吸収剤 (後述) を用 いる場合、 得られる紫外線吸収層としては、 通常べンゾ卜 リアゾール骨格、 ベン ゾフヱノン骨格またはそれに由来する構造を有するが、 本発明においては、 紫外 線吸収層中の紫外線吸収性化合物がァミ ド結合を介して母材と結合しているので 、 係る紫外線吸収層をァセトン中にて煮沸しても、 紫外線吸収剤に由来する構造 が抽出されないか、 またはその抽出量が極めて少なくなるため、 紫外線吸収能の 変化量が上記特定量以下となり、 極めて小さい変化量となりうる。
このような特定の紫外線吸収層の製造法は特に限定されるものでなく、 任意の 方法により得ることができ、 好適な方法としては、 以下の方法が挙げられる。 すなわち、 (a ) 下記一般式 (1 ) に示されるようなァミ ノシラン化合物また はその誘導体 (以下、 「成分 A」 という。 ) と、 (b ) 分子内にカルボキシル基 を有する紫外線吸収剤 (以下 「成分 B」 という。 ) とを、 上記ァミ ノシラン化合 物またはその誘導体に由来するァ ミ ド結合が生じるべく反応させて紫外線吸収材 を生成し、 この紫外線吸収材を透明基板上等に塗布し、 硬化させる方法等が挙げ れる o

一般式 (1) で示されるア ミ ノ シラン化合物としては、 好ま しく は 3—ァミ ノ プロ ピルト リエ トキシシラン、 3—ァ ミ ノ プロ ピルジィ ソプロピルェ トキシシラ ン、 3—ァ ミ ノ プロ ピルメ チルジェ トキシシラ ン、 3—ァ ミ ノプロ ピルポリ ジメ チルシロキサン、 N— (2—ア ミ ノエチル) 一 3—ァ ミ ノ プロ ビル ト リ メ トキシ シラン、 3—ァミ ノプロピル ト リス (メ 卜キシェ トキシェ トキシ) シラン等が挙 げられ、 ア ミ ノ シラ ン化合物の誘導体と しては、 これらの加水分解物等を好ま し く挙げることができる。
これらのアミ ノ シラン化合物又はその誘導体は公知の方法により製造できる。 成分 Bと しての分子内にカルボキシル基を有する紫外線吸収剤としては、 分子 の側鎖にカルボキシル基を 1個または 2個以上有する化合物、 好ま しく は有機化 合物が挙げられ、 ベンゾト リァゾール骨格またはベンゾフヱノ ン骨格を有する化 合物等が挙げられる。
ベンゾト リアゾール骨格を有する化合物としては、 例えば下記一般式 (2 ) で 表される化合物が好適に挙げられる。

式中、 R 3は、 水素原子、 ハロゲン原子または炭素数 1〜 1 0、 好ま し く は 1 〜6のアルキル基を示す。 ハロゲン原子と してはフッ素、 塩素、 臭素、 ヨウ素等 、 アルキル基としては、 メチル基、 ェチル基、 プロピル基、 i一プロ ピル基、 ブ チル基、 t—ブチル基、 シクロへキシル基等が例示できる。 R 3の置換位置として は、 ベンゾ卜 リアゾール骨格の 4位または 5位であるが、 ハロゲン原子及びアル キル基は通常 4位に位置する。 式中 R 4は、 水素原子または炭素数 1 ~ 1 0、 好 ま しく は 1〜 6のアルキル基を示す。 アルキル基と しては、 メチル基、 ェチル基 、 プロ ピル基、 i一プロピル基、 ブチル基、 t—ブチル基、 シクロへキシル基等が 例示できる。 式中 R 5は、 炭素数 1〜 1 0、 好ま しく は 1〜 3のアルキレン基ま たはアルキリデン基を示す。 アルキレン基としては、 メチレン基、 エチレン基、 ト リメチレン基、 プロピレン基等が、 アルキリデン基としては、 ェチリデン基、 プロピリデン基等が挙げられる。
一般式 (2 ) で示される化合物としては、 3— (5—クロ口— 2 H—べンゾ ト リアゾールー 2—ィル) 一 5— ( 1 , 1 —ジメチルェチル) 一 4—ヒ ドロキシー ベンゼンプロパン酸、 3— ( 2 H—ベンゾト リアゾール一 2—ィル) 一 4 —ヒ ド ロキシベンゼンエタン酸、 3— ( 5—メチル一 2 H—ベンゾト リアゾールー 2— ィル) 一 5— ( 1 ーメ チルェチル) 一 4 — ヒ ドロキシベンゼンプロパン酸等が挙 げられる。
上記べンゾフ ノ ン骨格を有する化合物と して、 下記一般式 (3 ) 〜 (6 ) で 示されるベンゾフ ノ ン系化合物等が好適に挙げられる。

このようなベンゾフヱノ ン骨格を有する化合物と しては、 2 —ヒ ドロキシー 4 ーメ トキシベンゾフヱノ ン一 5—力ルボン酸、 2 , 2 ' —ジヒ ドロキシ一 4ーメ トキシベンゾフエノ ン一 5 —カルボン酸、 4一 ( 2 —ヒ ドロキシベンゾィル) 一 3—ヒ ドロキシベンゼンプロパン酸等が好適に挙げられる。
上記べンゾト リアゾール骨格又はべンゾフニノ ン骨格を有する紫外線吸収剤は 公知の方法により製造できる。
本発明において、 被処理基板上にァ ミ ド結合および S i一 0結合を有する紫外 線吸収層を形成するにあたって使用できる上記紫外線吸収材は、 好ま しく は上記 成分 Aと成分 Bとを少なく とも反応させて、 成分 Aに由来するアミ ド結合を生成 せしめた成分を含む。 この反応は、 通常脱水反応が主である。 この際、 反応によ り生成するアミ ド結合の量は、 特に限定されないが、 通常、 成分 Aの全ア ミ ノ シ ランの 1 0 0モル%であるが、 1 0 0モル%未満でも差し支えない。 尚、 下限は 5 0モル%程度である。
上記紫外線吸収材には、 本発明の目的を損なわない範囲で成分 Aおよび成分 B に更に他の成分を共存させることができる。 他の成分は、 成分 A及び成分 Bの反 応の際、 または反応後に共存させることができる。 次にこれらの他の成分につい て説明する。
他の成分の一例としてシリ コーン樹脂 (以下、 「成分 C」 という。 ) が挙げら れる。 成分 Cとしては、 反応性シリ コーン樹脂、 即ち、 成分 Aのアルコキシシリ ル基部分と反応 (通常脱水反応及び Z又は脱アルコール反応等) しうる官能基を 有するシリ コーン樹脂が好ま しい。 官能基としてはアルコキシシリル基ゃシラノ ール基等が好ましい。
このような反応性シリ コーン樹脂は、 一般的にアルコキシシランゃクロロシラ ン類の部分加水分解反応とそれに続く縮合反応によって容易に合成することがで きる。 市販品では、 純シリ コーンワニス (例えば、 商品名 「X 0 7 9 3 1 —ク リ ヤー」 : ォキツモ (株) 製) 、 シリ コーンレジン (例えば、 商品名 「S R 2 4 1 0」 :東レ ' ダウコ一ニングシリコーン (株) 製) 、 ァク リル変性シリ コ一ン樹 脂 (例えば、 商品名 「サイラコー ト 1 0 0」 : チッ ソ (株) 製) 等が好適に挙げ られる。 また、 シ リ コーン樹脂を本発明の目的を損なわない範囲で各種溶剤を用 いた溶液の形で用いることができる。 溶剤としては、 特に限定されないが、 各種 炭化水素系溶剤、 ケ ト ン類、 エーテル類、 エステル類、 エーテル · エステル類等 が挙げられる。 また、 シリ コーン樹脂を各種変性したものを用いても良い。
成分 Cは、 成分 Aおよび成分 Bの反応の際、 または反応後のいずれにおいても 共存させられるが、 成分 Aおよび成分 Bの反応の際に共存させることが特に好ま しい。

上記アルキレン基と しては、 メチレン基、 卜 リ メチレン基、 テ トラメチレン基 等が好適に例示できる。 上記アルキル基と しては、 メチル基、 ェチル基、 プロピ ル基、 i —プロピル基、 ブチル基、 t 一ブチル基、 ペンチル基、 へキシル基、 へ プチル基、 ォクチル基等が好適に挙げられ、 上記アルコキシ基としては、 メ トキ シ基、 ェトキシ基、 プロポキシ基、 ブトキシ基、 t ーブトキシ基、 ペンチルォキ シ基、 へキシルォキシ基等が挙げられ、 上記ァリール基と しては、 フヱニル基、 卜 リル基等が挙げられる。
成分 Dと しては、 3—グリ シ ドキシプロビルト リ メ トキシシラン、 ジメ トキシ — 3 —グリ シ ドキシプロピルメチルシラ ン、 2— ( 3 , 4 —エポキシシクロへキ シルェチル) ト リメ トキシシラン、 ジメチルエ トキシー 3—グリ シ ドキシプロピ ルシラン、 1 , 3 —ビス ( 3—グリ シ ドキシプロピル) 一 1 , 3 —ジメチルー 1 , 3—ジメ トキシジシロキサン又はこれらの混合物等が好適に挙げられる。 成分 Dは、 予め加水分解して用いても良い。 また予め適当な重合触媒でェポキ シ基を開環重合させて用いることもできる。 重合触媒としては、 三フッ化ホウ素 ジェチルエーテル錯体、 塩化アルミニウム、 ジェチル亜鉛等のルイス酸触媒が好 適である。 また、 エポキシ基を開環重合させる際の重合条件は特に限定されない が、 通常、 一 8 0 °C〜 1 3 0 ° (:、 好ま しく は一 2 0〜8 0 °C程度が望ま しく、 反 応時間は反応条件や反応様式等により適宜選択でき、 通常 1 0分間〜 1 0時間、 好ま しく は 1時間〜 6時間程度が望ま しい。 この際用いる溶媒は特に限定されな いが、 例えば、 トルエン、 キシレン等の芳香族炭化水素溶媒、 各種ケ ト ン類、 ェ ステル類等が挙げられる。
成分 Dは、 成分 Aおよび成分 Bの反応の際、 または反応後のいずれにおいても 共存させられるが、 成分 Aおよび成分 Bの反応の後に加えるのが好ましい。 但し 、 上記予め成分 Dのエポキシ基を開環重合させたものを用いる場合には、 成分 A および成分 Bの反応の際に加えるのが好ま しい。
上記他の成分として、 ポリエーテル変性ポリ シロキサン類 (以下 「成分 E」 と いう。 ) も挙げられ、 好ま しく は、 下記一般式 (9 ) で示されるポリエーテル変 性ポリ シロキサン類が例示される。

式中、 R 1 2、 R 1 3および R 1 4は同一若しく は異なる基であって、 炭素数 1〜1 0、 好ま しく は 1 ~ 5のアルキレン基を示し、 各々の R 1 5は同一若しく は異なる 基であって、 水素原子、 水酸基、 炭素数 1〜 1 0、 好ま しく は 1〜5のアルキル 基若しく はアルコキシ基、 または炭素数 6 ~ 1 0、 好ま しく は 6 ~ 8のァ リール 基を示す。 好ま しく は全ての R 1 5のうち少なく とも 1つは炭素数 1〜 1 0のアル コキシ基である。 m、 n、 pは、 各々 m≥ 0、 好ま しく は 0≤m≤ 1 0 0、 n≥ 0、 好ま しく は 0≤n≤ 1 0、 p≥ 0、 好ま しく は 0≤ p≤ 1 0の整数を示す。 上記アルキレン基と しては、 メチレン基、 卜 リ メチレン基、 テ トラメチレン基 等が好適に挙げられる。 上記アルキル基としては、 メチル基、 ェチル基、 プロピ ル基、 i 一プロピル基、 ブチル基、 t _ブチル基、 ペンチル基、 へキシル基、 へ プチル基、 ォクチル基等が好適に挙げられる。 上記アルコキシ基としては、 メ ト キン基、 エトキシ基、 プロポキシ基、 ブトキシ基、 t—ブトキシ基、 ペンチルォ キシ基、 へキシルォキシ基等が挙げられる。 上記ァリール基としては、 フエニル 基、 ト リル基等が挙げられる。
このような一般式で表される成分 Eと しては、 具体的には、 テ トラエチレング リ コール一ビス (卜 リエ トキシシリルェチル) エーテル、 ポリエチレングリ コ一 ルービス (ト リエ トキシシリルェチル) エーテル、 ポリプロピレングリ コ一ルー ビス ( 卜 リエトキシシリルェチル) エーテル又はこれらの混合物等が挙げられる 。 成分 Eと しては、 予め加水分解したものを用いても良い。
成分 Eは、 成分 Aおよび成分 Bの反応の際、 または反応後のいずれにおいても 共存させられるが、 成分 Aおよび成分 Bの反応の際に加えるのが好ま しい。
他の成分として特に、 上記成分 Dのエポキシシラン類ゃ成分 Eのポリエーテル 変性ポリ シロキサン類を用いることにより、 得られる紫外線吸収層の耐熱性を損 なうことなく基板への密着性を改善し、 厚膜に形成しても割れにく く できる等、 さらに優れた効果を発揮させることができる。
上記他の成分と しては、 無機微粒子分散液 (以下、 「成分 F」 という。 ) も挙 げられる。 成分 F と しては、 特に限定されないが、 シリカ、 アルミナ、 酸化チタ ン、 酸化アンチモン等の微粒子の分散液等が挙げられる。 微粒子の粒子径は 1 ~ 1 0 0 n m程度であり、 分散媒としては水、 メタノール、 キシレン、 メチルェチ ルケ トン等が挙げられる。 市販品では、 商品名 「L U D O X · L S」 (デュポン 社製) や商品名 「X B A— S T」 (日産化学社製) 等が好適に挙げられる。 成分 Fは、 成分 Aおよび成分 Bの反応の際、 または反応後のいずれにおいても 共存させられるが、 成分 Aおよび成分 Bの反応の際に加えるのが好ましい。 以上の各他の成分は公知の方法により製造できる。
本発明において、 被処理基板上に上記特定の紫外線吸収層を形成しうる上記紫 外線吸収材の調製は、 例えば、 成分 Aと成分 Bとを少なく とも反応させる方法、 若しくは必要に応じて上記他の成分の共存下反応させる方法、 これらの反応終了 後、 上記他の成分等を添加する方法等により得ることができる。 この反応条件は 、 成分 Aに由来するアミ ド結合が生成する条件であれば特に限定されず、 適宜選 択されるが、 通常、 成分 Aおよび成分 B、 さらに所望により他の成分を溶媒中に て混合したのち、 溶媒の存在下において反応させるには、 室温〜 3 5 0 °C、 好ま しくは 6 0〜 2 5 0 °Cにおいて、 通常、 5分〜 5 0時間、 好ましくは 1 0分〜 2 0時間の条件で好適に行なうことができる。 これらの反応操作は繰り返し行うこ とができる。
この反応に用いる溶媒としては、 本発明の目的を損なわない限り特に限定され ないが、 例えば、 トルエン、 キシレン等の芳香族系溶剤; シクロへキサノ ン等の ケトン系溶剤又はこれらの混合物等が挙げられる。
上記反応において、 成分 Aと成分 Bとの使用割合は、 特に限定されないが、 成 分 Bの使用量が、 成分 Aと成分 Bとの総量に対して、 通常 5 ~ 9 0質量%、 好ま しくは 1 0〜 8 0質量%の範囲で任意に選択することができる。
上記他の成分を用いて反応させる場合、 若しくは反応後に添加して共存させる 他の成分の各使用量は特に限定されるものではないが、 シ リ コーン樹脂 (成分 C ) の使用量は、 成分 Aと成分 Bとの総量 1 0 0質量部に対して、 5〜3 0 0質量 部、 好ましくは 2 0〜 1 5 0質量部が望ましい。 エポキシシラン類 (成分 E ) の 使用量は、 成分 Aと成分 Bとの総量 1 0 0質量部に対して、 1 0〜 5 0 0質量部 、 好ましくは 1 0 0 ~ 4 0 0質量部が望ましい。 ポリエーテル変性ポリシロキサ ン類 (成分 E ) の使用量は、 成分 Aと成分 Bとの総量 1 0 0質量部に対して、 1 0〜 5 0 0質量部、 好ましくは 1 0 0〜4 0 0質量部が望ましい。 無機微粒子分 散液 (成分 F ) の使用量は、 成分 Aと成分 Bとの総量 1 0 0質量部に対して、 無 機微粒子として 5 ~ 4 0 0質量部、 好ましく は 1 0〜2 0 0質量部が望ましい。 得られた紫外線吸収材は、 上記反応終了後直ちに、 塗布成分として、 そのまま の形態や他の成分を添加した後に塗布しても良く、 また塗布成分を得た後、 更に 各種任意成分等を加えてから塗布しても良い。
上記任意成分の例としては、 各種の酸化防止剤; クェンチヤ一 ; ラジカル捕捉 剤;塩酸、 硫酸、 酢酸等の無機酸や有機酸 ; 3フッ化ホウ素 · ジェチルエーテル 錯体、 6フッ化アンチモン酸ナ卜リゥム等のルイス酸;水酸化力リゥム、 水酸化 ナ ト リウム、 ト リヱチルァミ ン、 ァニリ ン等の塩基 ; ジプチルスズジラウレー ト 、 チタンテトライソプロポキサイ ド等の有機金属に例示されるような、 硬化促進 作用を有する触媒 (紫外線吸収性材料に対して、 通常 0 . 1〜5 . 0 m a s s % の使用が好ま しい) ; トルエン、 キシレン、 エタノール、 イソプロパノール、 シ ンナ一、 ジメチルホルムアミ ド、 シクロへキサノ ン、 1 ーメ 卜キシー 2—ァセ ト キシプロパン等の溶剤等が挙げられる。
本発明において、 紫外線吸収層の形成は、 上記紫外線吸収材等を、 被処理基板 上に塗布し、 硬化させる方法等により行なうことができる。
塗布成分は通常、 液状であり、 塗布方法は、 特に限定されなく適宜公知の方法 が選択できる。 例えば、 スピンコー ト、 スプレーコー ト、 キャス 卜コー ト、 ブレ —ドコート、 ディ ップコート、 フローコ一 卜等が挙げられる。
硬化反応は、 上記硬化促進作用を有する触媒を用いた場合は、 通常室温〜 2 5 0 °C、 好ましく は 4 0〜2 0 0 °C程度で行なうことができる。 上記触媒を用いな くても通常室温〜 3 5 0 °C、 好ましくは 6 0〜 2 5 0 °Cで硬化させることができ る。 硬化に要する時間は、 適宜選択され、 通常 1 0分〜 5時間程度である。 被処理基板上に形成する紫外線吸収層の膜厚は、 特に限定されず、 適宜選択で き、 通常 0 . 5〜 5 0 m程度の範囲である。 0 . 5 m未満では充分な紫外線遮 断能力が得られない場合があり、 5 0 ; mを超えると亀裂を生じさせずに塗布す るのが難しい場合がある。 このような好ま しい方法等により、 ァ ミ ド結合および S i一 0結合を有する紫 外線吸収層を被処理基板上に具備する紫外線吸収板を得ることができる。
本発明の紫外線吸収板は、 好ま しく は 3 0 0 ~ 4 0 0 n mの紫外線領域の透過 光を大部分または完全に力ッ 卜することができ、 具体的には 9 5 %以上、 好ま し い態様では 9 8 %以上、 さらに好ま しい態様では 9 9 %以上の紫外線領域の透過 光をカツ 卜することができる。
本発明において、 紫外線吸収層は実質的に透明であり、 基板の有する可視領域 の透過率低下をほとんど起こさないかまたは全く起こさないものが好ま しい。 従 つて、 最終的な紫外線吸収板も透明なものが好ま しい。
本発明の紫外線吸収板は、 少なく とも、 被処理基板と、 紫外線吸収層とを具備 するが、 該紫外線吸収層上に、 さ らにオーバ一コー ト層を設けることで耐摩耗性
、 耐薬品性等の機能を付与することができる。
オーバ—コー 卜層形成用材料には特別な限定はないが、 通常は耐熱性に優れた 樹脂で形成され、 具体的には、 ポリイ ミ ド、 ポリアミ ド、 ポリカーボネー ト、 ボ リ ア リ レー ト、 ポリエーテルサルフ ォ ン、 メ ラ ミ ン樹脂、 フヱノール樹脂、 ェポ キシ樹脂、 シリ コーンワニスなどのシ リ コーン樹脂、 尿素樹脂などが使用される 。 これらの中でもシリ コーン樹脂のオーバーコー ト剤が最適である。 またこれら を組み合わせて用いても良い。 ガラスフィ ラーや無機粉体を併用することも行わ れる。 無機粉体としては、 通常 Z n 0、 T i 0 2、 C e 0 2、 シリ力などの微粒子 が用いられる。 シリ コーン樹脂ォ一バーコー ト剤としては、 コロイダルシリカな どの無機微粒子を分散させたシリ コーンレジン系やアルコキシシラ ン、 ク ロロ シ ランなどのシラ ン類の部分加水分解生成物及び部分重縮合生成物などが挙げられ る。 具体的には、 市販品では トスガー ド 510 (東芝シリ コーン製) や APZ7703 、 APZ7705 (日本ュニカー製) 、 N - L 1 1 0 , N - L 7 1 0等のポ リ シラザン ( 東燃製) が挙げられる。 またエポキシシランの部分加水分解生成物もオーバーコ 一ト剤と して耐摩耗性などが優れていることが知られている。 オーバ一コ一 ト層 の形成法と しては、 特に限定されなく適宜公知の方法が選択されるところである が、 通常、 オーバーコー ト層を構成する樹脂の溶液、 あるいは前駆体からなる溶 液を塗布することによって得られる。 塗布後はそれぞれの樹脂の性質によって必 要な処理がなされ、 オーバ一コ一 卜層が得られる。 また上記樹脂からなるフィ ル ムを貼る方法でオーバーコ一 ト層を設けることもできる。
例えば、 シ リ コーンワニスを用いた場合、 ジブチルスズジラウ リ レー 卜などの 触媒をこれに加え、 塗布した後 1 0 0〜 2 0 0 °C程度で 5分〜 2時間程度加熱硬 化することで、 1〜 2 0 mのオーバ一コー ト層を得ることができる。 また、 ァ ク リルーメ ラ ミ ン樹脂前駆体を用いた場合には、 塗布した後 1 3 0〜 1 9 0 °Cで 5分〜 2時間程度加熱硬化することで、 1 0〜 1 0 0; u mのオーバ一コ一 ト層を 得ることができる。 また光硬化型のァク リル系樹脂前駆体などを用いた場合には 、 塗布した後、 高圧水銀灯照射下に置く こ とによって通常 5分以内に 1〜 1 0 mのオーバ一コ一 ト層を得ることができる。
塗布方法には既知の方法が用いられる。 例えば、 スピンコー ト、 スプレーコ一 ト、 キャス トコー ト、 ブレー ドコー ト、 ディ ップコー トなどが使用できる。 ま た、 オーバ一コー ト層形成前に紫外線吸収層に光表面改質ゃプライマー処理を施 すことで、 ォ一バーコ一卜材の塗れ性改善やオーバーコー ト層の紫外線吸収層へ の密着性を改善することができる。
本発明の紫外線吸収板は、 さ らにォ一バーコ— ト層上に、 熱線反射機能や断熱 機能を有する金属酸化物等の薄膜を備えていても良い。 該薄膜は、 真空蒸着ゃス パッタ リ ング、 ゾルゲル法等の方法により形成でき、 紫外線吸収透明板に熱線反 射機能や断熱機能を付与することができる。
本発明の紫外線吸収板は従来のものより長波長領域までの紫外線を力ッ トでき るのが大きな特徵であり、 用途と しては特に限定されないが、 紫外線カツ トガラ ス、 複層ガラス、 合わせガラス、 熱線反射紫外線カツ トガラス、 紫外線 ·熱線吸 収ガラス、 防曇性紫外線カ ッ トガラス等の住宅用窓、 ショーウィ ン ドウ、 自動車 、 車両、 航空機、 船舶用等の機能性ガラスや、 樹脂フィ ルム等の被処理基板に上 記紫外線吸収層が形成された構造を有する紫外線カ ツ トフイ ルム、 農業用、 温室 用フィ ルム等が挙げられる。 またシ ョーケース、 標本箱、 掲示板、 額縁の他に、 眼鏡、 サングラス、 ブラウ ン管、 L C D (液晶ディ スプレー) (T N (ツイステ ッ ドネマチック) 、 S T N (スーパーッイステツ ドネマチッ ク) 、 D S T N (ダ ブルレイヤースーパーッイステツ ドネマチッ ク) 、 F S T N (フィ ルムコ ンペン セィテッ ドスーパーッイステツ ドネマチッ ク) 、 0 M I (オプティ カルモー ドィ ンターフェアレンス) 、 R O C B (リフ レクティ ブオプティ カルモー ドイ ンター フェアレンス) 、 B T N (バイステーブルッイステツ ドネマチック) 、 E C B ( エレク ト リ カ リ一コン トロールドバイフ リージエンス) 、 P A L C (ブラズマァ ドレス液晶) 、 G Z H (ゲス 卜ホス ト) 、 ミ ックス ドモー ド、 P D L C (ポリマ 一ディ スパーズド液晶) 、 I P S (ィンプレーンスィ ツチング) 、 F L C (強誘 電性液晶) 、 A F L C (反強誘電性液晶) 等の各種 L C D ) 、 P D P (プラズマ ディ スプレー) 、 F E D (フィ ールドェミ ッ ショ ンディ スプレー) 、 発光ダィォ — ド、 サ一モク口 ミ ック素子、 エレク 卜口クロ ミ ック素子、 フォ 卜クロ ミ ック素 子、 エレク トロルミネッセンス素子、 照明基材、 食品 ·清涼飲料水 ·酒や化粧品 等の瓶類や樹脂製容器、 プラスチッ ク成型品等を基板とし、 この基板に直接上記 紫外線吸収層を設けたものも本発明の紫外線吸収板と して使用することができる また、 本発明の紫外線吸収板の用途と しては、 各種の光学フィ ルター、 例えば 、 上記各種素子等の外側又は内側に配置される紫外線吸収作用を発揮する各種の フィ ルタ一と しての用途も、 好適なものと して挙げることができる。 なお、 該フ ィルターとしての本発明の紫外線吸収板の形態としては、 上に例示したもの等の 各種の L C D用基板、 エレク ト口クロ ミ ツ ク素子用基板、 フォ トクロ ミ ッ ク素子 用基板、 P D P素子用基板、 F E D素子用基板、 発光ダイオー ド素子用基板、 サ 一モクロ ミ ック素子用基板、 エレク トロルミネッセンス素子用基板等を基板とし 、 これに直接上記紫外線吸収層を設けたものや、 透明ガラス、 透明プラスチック フィ ルム等を基板と し、 これに上記紫外線吸収層を設けたもの等が挙げられる。 これらの光学フィ ルターは各種素子等の任意の位置に設けることができる。 また、 本発明に係る紫外線吸収板が紫外線吸収複層板である場合、 すなわち、 2枚以上の透明基板から構成され、 かつ透明基板に紫外線吸収層を設けてなる紫 外線吸収透明板を必須に有する場合、 その態様は目的に応じて適宜選択されると ころである。 透明基板の組み合わせとしては以下の態様が例示される。
(1) 紫外線吸収透明板と紫外線層を具備しない透明板 (則ち透明基板) (2) 2枚の紫外線吸収透明板を使用
(3) 紫外線吸収透明板と熱線反射性透明板
(4) 紫外線吸収透明板と紫外線反射性透明板
(5) 紫外線吸収透明板、 非紫外線吸収透明板と熱線反射性透明板
(6) 紫外線吸収透明板と選択波長反射性透明板
(7) 紫外線吸収透明板と低輻射率透明板
もちろん、 透明板の材質は同一でも異なってもよい。 また、 紫外線吸収透明板 を用いる際、 該透明板において具備される紫外線吸収層は、 複層板としたときに 外側に露出する形でも、 内側に内蔵される形のどちらでもよいが、 内側に内蔵さ れるほうがより好ましい。
また、 これらの透明板同志は密着させてもよく、 また透明板同志を機能性材料 を介して密着させてもよく、 また透明板間を適当な間隔を隔てて配置し、 その間 を真空、 乾燥空気や不活性ガスや機能性材料を充填した形態でも良い。
紫外線吸収複層板は、 前述のようにして作製された紫外線吸収透明板を少なく とも 1枚以上用いること以外は、 公知の方法により作製することができる。 以下 に具体的な複層板としての例を挙げる。 例えば複層ガラスの場合は、 スぺーサー 、 コーナーキー、 乾燥剤、 封着剤、 シール材などを適宜組み合わせることにより 容易に作製でき、 またそれらの材質は特に限定されないが、 例えば、 スぺ一サー としては通常アルミや合金等の金属製のものや、 塩化ビニル等の樹脂製のものが 用いられる。 またスぺ一サーを組み合わせるコーナーキーには通常金属や樹脂製 のもの等が用いられる。 スぺーサ一の中に入れる乾燥剤としては通常シリ力ゲル ゃゼォライ ト等の多孔質性物質が用いられる。 また一次シールとしてはプチルゴ ム等を基本としたポリイソブチレン系の封着材等が用いられる。 二次シールとし てはポリサルファィ ド系等のものが用いられる。 また、 例えば合わせガラスの場 合は、 中間膜としてはポリ ビニルプチラール樹脂、 ポリウレタン樹脂エチレン一 群酸ビニル共重合体等が通常用いられる。 また耐貫通性を良くするためにポリ力 ーボネートゃポリエステル等の樹脂フィルムを 2枚のガラスの間に中間膜を介し て挟み込むことも行われる。 さらに、 本発明に係る紫外線吸収板が紫外線吸収透明導電基板である場合、 す なわち、 透明導電膜を有する透明基板に紫外線吸収層を設けた場合には、 その紫 外線吸収層と透明導電膜とに隣接して上記のオーバ一コー 卜層を設けるようにし てもよい。
本発明において用いられる透明導電膜は、 透明性を満たすものであれば特に 限定されないが、 例えば、 金、 銀などの金属薄膜、 金属酸化物からなる導電膜な どが挙げられる。 金属酸化物としては、 例えば I T 0 ( I n 203— S n 02) 、 酸化錫、 酸化亜鉛、 酸化バナジウムなどが用いられる。
膜厚は通常、 1 0 0〜 5 0 00オングス トローム、 好ましくは 500〜 30 0 0オングス 卜ロームである。 また、 表面抵抗 (抵抗率) は、 本発明の基板の用途 により適宜選択されるところであるが、 通常、 0. 5〜5 0 00ノ(; 2、 好ま しく は 2〜5 Ο Ω/Z c m2である。
上記透明導電膜の形成法は、 特に限定されなく、 導電層として用いる前述の金 属ゃ金属酸化物の種類により適宜公知の方法が選択使用されるところであるが、 通常、 真空蒸着法、 イオンプレーティ ング法、 スパッタリ ング法あるいはゾルゲ ル法などが用いられる。 いずれの場合も基板温度 1 0 0〜 350°Cの範囲内で形 成されるのが望ましい。
この紫外線吸収透明導電基板の場合の好ましい構成は、 透明基板と透明導電膜 の間に特定の紫外線吸収層を有する。 該紫外線吸収層と透明導電膜の間には、 ォ —バーコ一ト層を設けなくても設けてもどちらでもよいが、 その最も単純な例は 図 1に示されように、 透明基板 1、 紫外線吸収層 2、 オーバーコート層 3および 透明導電膜 4を順次設けたものである。
また、 図 2に示すように、 透明基板 1 と紫外線吸収層 2との間に、 1層以上の 中間層 5を設けることもできる。 中間層 5の機能は特に限定されないが、 例えば 遠紫外による有機紫外線吸収剤の劣化を抑制する目的で、 Z n O、 C e 02、 T i 02などの無機酸化物を含む紫外線吸収層を設けたり、 あるいは、 透明基板 1 と紫外線吸収層 2との密着性を向上させる目的で、 シランカツプリ ング剤や界面 活性剤などを含む中間層とすることができる。
さらに、 図 3に示すように、 紫外線吸収層 2とオーバ一コ一卜層 3との間に、 得ることができる。 従って、 この透明導電性基板はこのような特長を具備するこ とから、 各種用途に使用でき、 例えば、 調光や表示等を目的としたエレク トロク ロミ ック素子や表示用等の液晶素子などに使用でき、 優れた効果を発揮すること ができる。 以下に実施例をあげて本発明を具体的に説明するが、 本発明は実施例に限定さ れるものではない。 尚、 例中の紫外線吸収能変化率を求めるための紫外線吸光度 及び光透過率の測定は、 (株) 日立製作所製、 商品名 「U - 3300型分光光度 計」 を用いて、 波長範囲約 3 Ο Ο ηπ!〜 500 nmにて行った。 実施例 1
カルボキシル基含有紫外線吸収剤の合成
225 g (0.46モル) の 3— (5—クロ口一 2 H—べンゾ ト リ ァゾールー 2—ィル) 一 5— ( 1 , 1ージメチルェチル) 一 4—ヒ ドロキシ一ベンゼンプロ パン酸ォクチルエステル (T I NUV I N 109、 商標名 ; C i b a— G e i g y社製) を 700m lのァセトンに溶解し、 2 N水酸化ナト リゥム水溶液 60 0m 1を加えて室温で 24時間拢拌した。 2 N塩酸 650 m lを加えて酸性にし た後、 不溶化した生成物を ¾別し、 蒸留水で擄液が中性になるまで洗浄した。 こ の生成物を真空乾燥した後、 トルエンからの再結晶を行うことで 3— (5—クロ ロー 2 H—べンゾ 卜 リアゾールー 2—ィル) 一 5— ( 1 , 1 - ジメチルェチル) 一 4ーヒ ドロキシ—ベンゼンプロパン酸 (以下、 「化合物 A」 という。 ) を得た 紫外線吸収材の製造
3—アミ ノプロビルトリエトキシシラ ン 3 gをキシレン 35 gに溶解し、 80 てに加熱しながら、 上記化合物 Aを 5 g徐々に添加した。 添加終了後、 1 30°C まで昇温し、 3時間 «流した。 放冷後、 3—グリシドキシプロビルトリメ トキシ シランを 16 g添加し、 これを紫外線吸収材 (塗布液) とした。
得られた紫外線吸収材を13 C— NMRにより分析したところ、 アミ ド結合に由 来するカルボニルのピーク (約 173 p pm) が観測され、 原料のァミノシラ ン 1層以上の中間層 6を設けることもできる。 中間層 6の機能は特に限定されない が、 例えば紫外線吸収層 2とオーバ一コ一ト層 3との密着性を向上させる目的で 、 シランカップリ ング剤ゃ界面活性剤などを含む中間層とすることができる。 さらにまた、 図 4に示すように、 透明基板 1と紫外線吸収層 2との間及び紫外 線吸収層 2とオーバ一コート層 3との間にそれぞれ 1層以上の中間層 5 , 6を設 けることもできる。 中間層 5 , 6の機能は特に限定されないが、 上記図 2及び図 3において述べたものと同様の機能を付与させることができる。
透明導電基板において、 上記積層構造は基板の片面のみではなく、 基板の両面 に同様に備えることもできる。 産業上の利用可能性
以上のように、 本発明の紫外線吸収材料は、 良好な紫外線遮断効果を奏し、 耐 候性、 耐熱性を容易に付与できるコーティ ング材料として好適である。 また、 母 材と紫外線吸収剤とがアミ ド結合により結合しているため、 長期に渡る使用にお いてもブリードアウ トを起こさず、 かつ良好な紫外線吸収能を維持することが可 能となる。 従って、 本発明の紫外線吸収板は、 紫外線吸収層としてアミ ド結合お よび S i一 0結合を有するものであり、 紫外線吸収剤成分を高濃度に含有させて も良好な耐久性を維持し、 しかも、 耐候性、 耐熱性にも優れ、 可視領域の透過率 低下をほとんど起こさず長波長領域までク リァに紫外線を力ッ 卜できる。 これに より、 極めて優れた耐紫外線劣化性を具備し、 長寿命の各種材料、 製品として有 効である。
また、 本発明の紫外線吸収板が透明導電基板である場合には、 高い導電性と優 れた紫外線遮断効果を両方具備するものである。 特に紫外線吸収層を適宜選択す ることにより 4 0 0 n m以下の波長を極めてク リァに遮断することができる。 ま た、 透明導電膜と紫外線吸収層との間に設けられたオーバーコ一ト層の効果によ り、 透明導電膜を容易に形成することが可能となり、 且つこれを用いて作製した エレク 卜リ ツクデバイスを紫外線から保護することが可能である。 さらに、 紫外 線吸収剤をポリマーと化学的に結合させることによって、 透明導電膜形成時に安 定な紫外線吸収層を得ることができ、 容易に紫外線吸収層を持つ透明導電基板を
一 2 2 化合物に由来するァミ ド結合が存在していることを確認した。
紫外線吸収板の製造
上記紫外線吸収材をガラス基板上にスプレー塗布し、 室温で 20分間放置後 2 00°Cで 20分間加熱し、 これにより、 厚さ約 17 mの紫外線吸収層を有する 紫外線吸収ガラス (紫外線吸収板) を作製した。
紫外線吸収層の一部を削りとり、 13C— NMRにより分析したところ、 アミ ド 結合に由来するカルボニルのビーク (約 1 73 p p m) が観測され、 29S i— N MRにより同様に S i一 0結合の存在も確認された。
この紫外線吸収ガラスの紫外可視吸収スぺク トルの測定結果を図 5に示す。 図 5に示されるようにこのガラスは、 400 n m以下の紫外線を完全に遮断してい た。 また、 このガラスは長期間にわたり、 優れた紫外線遮断効果を発揮した。 実施例 2
紫外線吸収複層ガラスの作製
上記実施例 1で作製した紫外線吸収ガラスと市販のソーダライムガラスを用い て、 通常の方法により複層ガラスを作製した。 尚、 アルミスべ一サー、 コーナー キ一、 ブチルゴム、 乾燥剤、 ポリサルフアイ ドはティパ化工製のものを使用した 。 得られた複層ガラスは、 断熱性に優れ、 長寿命の、 紫外線を完全に遮断するも のであった。 実施例 3
上記実施例 1で作製した紫外線吸収ガラスの紫外線吸収層の上に、 シリ コーン レジン (A P Z— 7705、 日本ュニカー製、 ) をスプレー塗布し、 100°Cで 20分乾燥して、 厚さ約 2 mの保護膜を設けた。
紫外線吸収透明導電基板の製造
上記保護膜を有する紫外線吸収ガラス上に基板温度 250 °Cで I TOのスパッ 夕リ ングを行い、 膜厚約 3300オングス トローム、 抵抗 7. 5 QZ c m2の透 明導電膜を形成し、 紫外線遮断能を有する透明導電基板を得た。 この透明導電基 板の分光透過率を図 5に示した。 実施例 4
上記実施例 1で作製した紫外線吸収材を赤色のステンレス板にスプレー塗布し 、 室温で 20分放置後、 200°Cで 20分加熱し、 厚さ約 17 mの紫外線吸収 被膜を有する紫外線吸収樹脂板を作製した。 得られた樹脂板は紫外線照射下で放 置した際、 コーティ ングしてないものに比べて色あせの度合いが極めて少なかつ た。 実施例 5
紫外線吸収材の製造
3 gの 3—ァ ミ ノプロピルト リエ トキシシランをキシレン 40 gに溶解し 60 °Cに加熱しつつ、 5 gの実施例 1で調製した化合物 Aを徐々に加えた。 添加終了 後、 130°Cまで昇温し、 3時間還流し、 溶液状の紫外線吸収材を得た。
得られた溶液を13 C— NMRにより分析したところ、 アミ ド結合に由来する力 ルポニルのピーク (約 173 p p m) が観測され、 原料のァ ミ ノシラン化合物に 由来するアミ ド結合が存在していることを確認した。
紫外線吸収板の製造
上記紫外線吸収材をガラス基板上にスプレー塗布し、 室温で 20分間放置後 1 30°Cで 30分間加熱し、 厚さ約 10 mの紫外線吸収層を有する紫外線吸収ガ ラス (紫外線吸収板) を作製した。
紫外線吸収層の一部を削りとり、 13C— N MR.により分析したところ、 アミ ド 結合に由来するカルボニルのピーク (約 173 p pm) が観測され、 29S i— N MRにより同様に S i —0結合の存在も確認された。
この紫外線吸収ガラスの紫外可視吸収スぺク トルを測定したところ、 実施例 1 と同様に紫外線を完全に遮断していることがわかった。 このガラスは長期間にわ たり、 優れた紫外線遮断効果を発揮した。 実施例 6
紫外線吸収複層ガラスの作製 上記実施例 5で作製した紫外線吸収ガラスと市販のソーダラィ厶ガラスを用い て、 通常の方法により複層ガラスを作製した。 尚、 アルミ スぺーサ一、 コーナ一 キー、 ブチルゴム、 乾燥剤、 ポリサルフアイ ドはティパ化工製のものを使用した 。 得られた複層ガラスは断熱性に優れ、 長寿命の、 紫外線を完全に遮断するもの であつた。 実施例 7
上記実施例 5で作製した紫外線吸収ガラスの紫外線吸収層の上に、 シリ コーン レジン (A P Z— 77 05、 日本ュニカー製、 ) をスプレー塗布し、 1 0 0 で 20分乾燥して、 厚さ約 2 umの保護膜を設けた。
得られた保護膜を有する紫外線吸収ガラスの紫外可視吸収スぺク トルを測定し たところ、 実施例 5と同様に紫外線を完全に遮断するガラス基板が得られた。 紫外線吸収透明導電基板の製造
上記紫外線吸収ガラス上に基板温度 2 5 0°Cで I TOのスパッ夕 リ ングを行い 、 膜厚約 3 30 0オングス トローム、 抵抗 7. 5 QZc m2の透明導電膜を形成 し、 紫外線遮断能を有する透明導電基板を得た。 この場合も実施例 5と同様にス パッ夕 リ ング前のスぺク トルと比較してほとんど変化が見られなかった。 実施例 8
上記実施例 5で作製した紫外線吸収材を赤色のポリエチレンテレフタレー ト ( P E T) 板上にスプレー塗布し、 室温で 2 0分放置後 2 0 0°Cで 2 0分加熱し、 厚さ約 1 Ί; の紫外線吸収層を有する紫外線吸収樹脂板を作製した。 得られた 樹脂板は紫外線照射下で放置した際、 コーティ ングしてないものに比べて色あせ の度合いが極めて少なかった。 実施例 9
紫外線吸収材の製造
シリ コーンワニス (商品名 : X 0— 7 9 3 1—ク リャ一、 ォキツモ (株) 製) 1 7. 7 gと 3—ァミ ノプロピル 卜 リエ 卜キシシラン 3 gとをキシレン 3 5 gに 溶解し、 8 crcに加熱しながら実施例 1で調製した化合物 Aを 5 g徐々に添加し た。 添加終了後、 1 3 0 °Cまで昇温し 3時間還流し、 溶液状の紫外線吸収材 (塗 布液) を得た。
紫外線吸収透明板の製造
上記紫外線吸収材をガラス基板上にスプレー塗布し、 室温で 2 0分間放置後、 2 0 0 °Cで 2 0分間加熱し、 厚さ約 1 7 mの紫外線吸収層を有する紫外線吸収 ガラスを作製した。 この紫外線吸収ガラスに対して碁盤目試験を行ったところ、 5 0 %剥離が見られた。
紫外線吸収層の一部を削りとり、 1 3 C—N M Rにより分析したところ、 アミ ド 結合に由来するカルボニルのピーク (約 1 7 3 p p m ) が観測され、 2 9 S i - N M Rにより同様に S i 一 0結合の存在も確認された。
得られた紫外線吸収ガラスを沸騰ァセ ト ンで 2 4時間抽出し、 前述の数式 (1 ) により紫外線吸収能変化率を測定したところ、 3 %程度であった。 このことか ら、 紫外線吸収剤はァミ ノ シランを介して樹脂と結合していることがわかった。 また、 紫外線吸収ガラスの紫外可視吸収スぺク トルを測定した結果を図 6に示 す。 図 6に示されるようにこのガラスは 4 0 0 n m以下の紫外線を完全に遮断し ていることがわかった。 さらに紫外線吸収層の J I S K 5 4 0 0鉛筆硬度試験 の結果は 2 Hだった。 この紫外線吸収ガラスをサンシャイ ンゥヱザ一メーター中 1 0 0 0時間放置しても、 紫外線吸収能変化は 2 %以下であった。 実施例 1 0

紫外線吸収透明板の製造
上記紫外線吸収材をガラス基板上にスプレー塗布し、 室温で 20分間放置後、 200°Cで 20分間加熱し、 厚さ約 17 mの紫外線吸収層を有する紫外線吸収 ガラスを作製した。 紫外線吸収層の J I S K 5400鉛筆硬度試験結果は 4 Η であった。
紫外線吸収層の一部を削りとり、 13C— NMRにより分析したところ、 アミ ド 結合に由来するカルボニルのピーク (約 1 73 p p m) が観測され、 29 S i - N MRにより同様に S i 一 0結合の存在も確認された。 得られたガラス板の紫外可 視吸収スぺク トルの測定結果を図 8に示す。 図 8より、 このガラスは実施例 1と 同様に優れた紫外線遮断能を有することがわかった。 この紫外線吸収ガラスは長 期間にわたり、 優れた紫外線遮断効果を発揮した。 実施例 18

シリ コーンワニス (商品名 : XO— 7 9 31—ク リャ一、 ォキツモ (株) 製) 17. 7 gと 3—ァミ ノプロピルト リエ トキシシラン 3 gとをキシレン 2 9 gに 溶解し、 8 0°Cに加熱しながら実施例 1で調製した化合物 Aを 5 g徐々に添加し た。 添加終了後、 1 30°Cまで昇温し 3時間還流した。 放冷後、 上記エポキシシ ラン重合体溶液 22 gを加え紫外線吸収材を得た。
紫外線吸収透明板の製造
上記紫外線吸収材をガラス基板上にスプレー塗布し、 室温で 20分間放置後、 1 5 0°Cで 3 0分間加熱し、 厚さ約 1 5 mの紫外線吸収層が形成されたガラス 板を作製した。 紫外線吸収層の: ί I S K 54 0 0鉛筆硬度試験結果は 6 Ηであ つた。
紫外線吸収層の一部を削りとり、 13C— NMRにより分析したところ、 アミ ド 結合に由来するカルボニルのピーク (約 1 73 p p m) が観測され、 29S i — N MRにより同様に S i 一 0結合の存在も確認された。 得られたガラス板の紫外可 視吸収スぺク トルの測定結果を図 9に示す。 図 9より、 このガラスは実施例 1と 同様に優れた紫外線遮断能を有していることがわかった。 この紫外線吸収ガラス は長期間にわたり、 優れた紫外線遮断効果を発揮した。 実施例 23

上記実施例 2 2で作製した紫外線吸収材を赤色の合板上にスプレー塗布し、 室 温で 2 0分放置後 2 0 0°Cで 2 0分加熱し、 厚さ約 1 7 mの紫外線吸収被膜を 有する紫外線吸収樹脂板を作製した。 得られた樹脂板は紫外線照射下で放置した 際、 コ一ティ ングしてないものに比べて色あせの度合いが少なかった。 実施例 2 6
上記実施例 2 2で製造した紫外線吸収材 (塗布液) に、 さらにコロイダルシリ 力分散液 (日産化学社製、 商品名 ; M I B K— S T) を 8 g添加し、 これを紫外 線吸収材 (新塗布液) とした。
この新塗布液をガラス基板上にスプレー塗布し、 室温で 2 0分間放置後、 1 5 0 で 3 0分間加熱し、 厚さ約 1 5 /zmの紫外線吸収層が形成されたガラス板を 作製した。 得られたガラス板の紫外可視吸収スぺク トルを測定したところ、 実施 例 1と同様に優れた紫外線遮断能を有することがわかった。 また長期に渡り紫外 線遮断能を発揮した。 実施例 2 7
紫外線吸収透明導電基板の製造
上記実施例 2 6で作製した紫外線吸収ガラス上に基板温度 2 5 0 °Cで I TOの スパッタリ ングを行い、 膜厚約 3 3 0 0オングス トローム、 抵抗 7. 5 Ω/ c m 2の透明導電膜を形成し、 紫外線遮断能を有する透明導電基板を得た。 得られた 基板の紫外可視吸収スぺク トルを測定したところ、 実施例 1 と同様に優れた紫外 線遮断能を有することがわかった。 また長期に渡り紫外線遮断能を発揮した。 実施例 2 8
紫外線吸収材の製造
3—ァミ ノ プロピルト リエ トキシシラ ン 3 gと実施例 6で調製したエポキシシ ラン重合体溶液 1 1 gとをキシレン 3 2 gに溶解し、 8 0 °Cに加熱しながら実施 例 1で調製した化合物 Aを 5 g徐々に添加した。 添加終了後、 1 3 0 °Cまで昇温 し 3時間還流し、 紫外線吸収材 (塗布液) を得た。
紫外線吸収透明板の製造
上記紫外線吸収材をガラス基板上にスプレー塗布し、 室温で 2 0分間放置後、 1 5 0でで 3 0分間加熱し、 厚さ約 1 5 mの紫外線吸収層が形成されたガラス 板を作製した。 紫外線吸収層の J I S K 5 4 0 0鉛筆硬度試験結果は 5 Ηであ つた。
紫外線吸収層の一部を削りとり、 1 3 C— N M Rにより分析したところ、 アミ ド 結合に由来するカルボニルのピーク (約 1 7 3 p p m ) が観測され、 2 9 S i - N M Rにより同様に S i一 0結合の存在も確認された。 得られたガラス板の紫外可 視吸収スぺク トルの測定結果を図 1 0に示す。 図 1 0より、 この紫外線吸収ガラ スは実施例 1 と同様に優れた紫外線遮断能を有していることがわかった。 この紫 外線吸収ガラスは長期間にわたり、 優れた紫外線遮断効果を発揮した。 実施例 2 9
紫外線吸収複層ガラスの作製
上記実施例 2 8で作製した紫外線吸収ガラスと市販のソーダライムガラスを用 いて、 通常の方法により複層ガラスを作製した。 尚、 アルミ スべ一サ一、 コーナ 一キー、 ブチルゴム、 乾燥剤、 ポリサルフ ァイ ドはティパ化工製のものを使用し た。 得られた複層ガラスは、 断熱性に優れ、 長寿命の、 紫外線を完全に遮断する ものであった。 実施例 30
上記実施例 28で作製した紫外線吸収ガラスの紫外線吸収層の上に、 シリコー ンレジン (A P Z— 7705、 日本ュニカー製、 ) をスプレー塗布し、 1 00°C で 20分乾燥して、 厚さ約 2 mの保護膜を設けた。
紫外線吸収透明導電基板の製造
上記保護膜を有する紫外線吸収ガラス上に基板温度 250°Cで I TOのスパッ タリ ングを行い、 膜厚約 3300オングス トローム、 抵抗 7. S QZ c m2の透 明導電膜を形成し、 紫外線遮断能を有する透明導電基板を得た。 この透明導電基 板の分光透過率を図 10に示した。 実施例 31
上記実施例 28で作製した紫外線吸収材を赤色のセラミ ック板上にスプレー塗 布し、 室温で 20分放置後 200°Cで 20分加熱し、 厚さ約 17 mの紫外線吸 収層を有する紫外線吸収樹脂板を作製した。 得られた樹脂板は紫外線照射下で放 置した際、 コーティ ングしてないものに比べて色あせの度合いが少なかった。 実施例 32
上記実施例 28で製造した紫外線吸収材 (塗布液) に、 さらにコロイダルシリ 力分散液 (日産化学社製、 商品名 ; M I B K— S T) を 8 g添加し、 これを紫外 線吸収材 (新塗布液) とした。
この新塗布液をガラス基板上にスプレー塗布し、 室温で 20分間放置後、 15 0°Cで 30分間加熱し、 厚さ約 15 mの紫外線吸収層が形成されたガラス板を 作製した。 得られたガラス板の紫外可視吸収スぺク トルを測定したところ、 実施 例 1と同様に優れた紫外線遮断能を有することがわかった。 また長期に渡り紫外 線遮断能を発揮した。 実施例 33
紫外線吸収透明導電基板の製造
上記実施例 32で作製した紫外線吸収ガラス上に基板温度 250 °Cで I TOの スパッタ リ ングを行い、 膜厚約 3 3 0 0オングス トローム、 抵抗 7. 5 Ω/c m 2の透明導電膜を形成し、 紫外線遮断能を有する透明導電基板を得た。 得られた 基板の紫外可視吸収スぺク トルを測定したところ、 実施例 1と同様に優れた紫外 線遮断能を有することがわかった。 また長期に渡り紫外線遮断能を発揮した。 比較例 1
シ リ コーンワニス (商品名 : X 0— 7 9 3 1—ク リヤー、 ォキツモ (株) 製) 22. 2 gに、 3— (5—クロロー 2 H—ベンゾ ト リァゾ一ルー 2—ィル) 一 5 - ( 1, 1ージメチルェチル) 一 4ーヒ ドロキシ一ベンゼンプロパン酸ォクチル エステル (T I NUV I N 1 09、 商標、 C i b a— G e i g y社製) 1 0 g を加え、 さ らにジ一 n—プチルスズジラウレ一 卜 2 0 1を添加し、 ジメチルホ ルムアミ ド (DMF) 20 m lで希釈した後、 ガラス基板上にスプレー塗布した 。 ホッ トプレー ト上 6 0°Cで 1 5分間乾燥した後、 オーブンに入れ 20 0。Cで 1 時間加熱硬化し、 厚さ約 2 0 mの紫外線吸収層を有する紫外線吸収ガラスを得 た。 しかし、 この紫外線吸収ガラスは紫外線吸収剤の析出により白濁してしまつ た。 比較例 2
シリ コーンワニス (商品名 : X 0— 7 9 3 1—ク リャ一、 ォキツモ (株) 製) 22. 2 gに、 3— (5 -クロロー 2 H—べンゾ ト リァゾールー 2—ィル) 一 5 一 ( 1, 1ージメチルェチル) 一 4—ヒ ドロキシ一ベンゼンプロパン酸ォクチル エステル (T I NUV I N 1 09、 商標名 ; C i b a— G e i g y社製) 2. 2 gを加え、 さ らにジー n—プチルスズジラウレ一 卜 2 0 1を添加し、 DM F 20 m lで希釈した後、 ガラス基板上にスプレー塗布した。 ホッ トプレー 卜上 6 0°Cで 1 5分間乾燥した後、 オーブンに入れ 20 0°Cで 1時間加熱硬化し、 厚さ 約 1 5 imの紫外線吸収層を有する紫外線吸収ガラスを得た。 この紫外線吸収ガ ラスは比絞例 1のように白濁しなかったが、 紫外線力ッ ト能は不十分であつた。 また作製した紫外線吸収ガラスを用いて実施例 9と同様に沸騰ァセ 卜 ンで抽出 を行ったところ、 48 %の重量減少が観察されると共に、 紫外線吸収能変化率は 95%となり、 ほとんどの紫外線吸収剤が溶出してしまった。 作製した紫外線吸 収ガラスをサンシャイ ンゥヱザ一メ ーター中 1000時間放置したところ紫外線 吸収能変化は 50 %とかなり紫外線遮断能が低下していた。 比較例 3
ガラス基板上に Z n O超微粒子分散塗料 (レジノカラー工業社製、 U V— S 一 4 00) をディ ップコー トにより塗布し、 200°Cで 20分加熱硬化させるこ とによって、 厚さ約 2 / mの紫外線吸収層を作製した。 この上にポリエーテルサ ルフォ ン ( I C I社製、 ' V I CTR E X ' P E S 41 00 P) の塩化メチレ ン溶液をスピンコー 卜することにより、 厚さ約 2〃 mのポリマー層を作製した。 さらに、 実施例 2のシリ コーンワニスを用いて、 厚さ約 15 mの紫外線吸収 層を作製した。
こう して得られた紫外線吸収層の上に、 ポリイ ミ ドワニス (日産化学工業社製 、 RN- 812) をスピンコー ト した。 ホッ トプレー ト上 60でで溶媒が乾燥さ せた後、 オープン中 200°Cで 30分加熱硬化させることによって、 厚さ約 2 mの保護層を得た。 さらにこの上に、 基板温度 250°C以下で I TOのスパッタ リ ングを行い、 膜厚 2050オングス トローム、 表面抵抗 9. 5 QZ c m2の透 明導電膜紫外線遮断能を有する透明導電基板を得た。 この透明導電基板の分光透 過率を図 11に示した。

Claims

請求の範囲
1. (a) 下記一般式 (1 ) に示されるァミ ノシラン化合物またはその誘導体と

(式中、 R 1は炭素数 1〜 1 0のアルキレン基、 または一般式一 (CH2) m - N H— [mは l≤m≤ 4の整数〕 で表される 2価の基を示し、 各々の R2は同一若 しくは異なる基であって、 水素原子、 水酸基、 ハロゲン原子、 炭素数 1〜 1 0の アルキル基又は炭素数 1 ~ 1 0のアルコキシ基を示す。 但し全ての R 2のうち少 なく とも一つはアルコキシ基を示す。 nは n≥ 0の整数を示す。 )
( b ) 分子内に力ルポキシル基を有する紫外線吸収剤と
を、 上記ァミ ノシラン化合物又はその誘導体に由来するァミ ド結合が生じるべく 反応させてなることを特徴とする紫外線吸収材料。
2. 被処理基板上に紫外線吸収層を設け、 該紫外線吸収層が、 アミ ド結合およ び S i 一 0結合を有する紫外線吸収材で形成されていることを特徴とする紫外線 吸収板。
3. 上記紫外線吸収材が、 (a) 下記一般式 (1 ) に示されるアミ ノ ンラン化合 物またはその誘導体と、

を、 上記ァ ミ ノ シラ ン化合物又はその誘導体に由来するァ ミ ド結合が生じるべく 反応させてなる請求の範囲第 2項記載の紫外線吸収板。
4. 上記ア ミ ノ シラン化合物またはその誘導体と、 分子内にカルボキシル基を有 する紫外線吸収剤との反応をシリ コーン樹脂の存在下で行うか、 もしく は当該反 応後シリ コーン樹脂を添加する請求の範囲第 3項記載の紫外線吸収板。
5. 上記紫外線吸収材が、 (a) 下記一般式 (1 ) に示されるア ミ ノ シラ ン化合 物またはその誘導体と、

(b ) 分子内にカルボキシル基を有する紫外線吸収剤と
を、 分子内にェポキシ基を有するシラ ン化合物及び Z又はコロイダルシリ力の存 在下上記ァミ ノ シラ ン化合物又はその誘導体に由来するァ ミ ド結合が生じるべく 反応させるか、 もしく は、 上記ァ ミ ノ シラ ン化合物又はその誘導体に由来するァ ミ ド結合が生じるべく反応させた後、 当該反応物に分子内にエポキシ基を有する シラン化合物及び Z又はコロイダルシリ 力を添加してなる請求の範囲第 2項記載 の紫外線吸収板。
6. 上記被処理基板が透明基板であると共に、 上記紫外線吸収層が透明である請 求の範囲第 2項乃至第 5項のいずれか 1項に記載の紫外線吸収板。
7. 上記被処理基板が複数の透明基板を積層してなると共に、 これら透明基板間 の少なく とも 1箇所に上記紫外線吸収層が設けられている請求の範囲第 2項乃至 第 5項のいずれか 1項に記載の紫外線吸収板。
8 . 上記紫外線吸収層上にオーバーコート層を有する請求の範囲第 2項乃至第 6 項のいずれか 1項に記載の紫外線吸収板。
9 . 上記被処理基板の紫外線吸収層側に透明導電膜を有する請求の範囲第 2項乃 至第 6項のいずれか 1項に記載の紫外線吸収板。
1 0 . 上記紫外線吸収層と透明導電膜との間にォ一バーコ一ト層を有する請求の 範囲第 9項記載の紫外線吸収板。
