Abstract

Es wird eine Vorrichtung mit mindestens einer Oberflächenschicht (1) aus einem Halbleitermaterial (4) mit einer Innenseite (15), die auf einem Träger (3) aufliegt und einer desinfizierbaren und/oder oxidierenden Außenseite (2) sowie mit einer UV-Strahlungsquelle (6) vorgeschlagen, wobei der Träger (3) lichtleitend ist und aus der UV-Strahlungsquelle (6), UV-Strahlung (13) über den lichtleitenden Trägern (3) unmittelbar auf die Innenseite (15) des Halbleitermaterials (4) eingekoppelt wird. Der lichtleitende Träger (3) und die darauf aufliegende Oberflächenschicht (1) aus dem Halbleitermaterial (4) können auf die Oberfläche einer zu desinfizierenden Gerätschaft aufgebracht werden oder aber auch diese selbst bilden.
