Definitions
- the present invention relates to a motorized nautical leisure vehicle. More particularly, it relates to beach machines of the "hydrojet" type.
- the devices known in the prior art are adapted to sports practices, by experienced users accepting relatively high operating costs.
- the object of the present invention is to remedy these various drawbacks, and to reconcile the various constraints, by proposing a nautical leisure vehicle constituted by a hull provided with a propellant of the low power hydrojet type.
- the power of the motor is less than 5KW, for example 4KW.
- the payload allows the boarding of 3 people for navigation in category 6.
- the shell has a peripheral rim to receive an inflatable envelope of shape annular.
- the inflatable envelope has an annular shape having at its rear part a cutout for the passage of a rigid segment comprising the directional nozzle.
- the overall width is greater than 0.8 times the overall length.
- the rigid segment is extended by a mast supporting a sun visor.
- the propellant is constituted by a low power motor associated with a water suction propeller placed in a suction box opening into the bottom of the hull, the outlet of the suction box opening in a nozzle having a decreasing section and a helical wall.
- the propeller has three blades in the form of helical ramps extending a substantially cylindrical hub.
- the nozzle has a water intake in the area of large section for cooling the engine.
- FIG. 1 shows a rear view of one machine
- FIG. 3 shows a perspective view of the inflatable envelope
- FIG. 5 shows a detailed view of the control handle;
- Figure 6 shows a sectional view of an alternative embodiment of the shell.
- FIG. 1 represents a front view of the machine according to an exemplary embodiment of the invention.
- This machine consists of a chassis made of pressed sheet steel or of molded plastic material having a peripheral rim on which is mounted an annular buoyancy reserve (1).
- This inflatable buoyancy reserve is divided into several compartments for safety reasons. It has handling straps (2) facilitating the porting of the machine.
- the chassis is surmounted by a rigid shell (3) of molded plastic. It has a hemispherical front part (4) provided with a hatch (8) for filling the fuel tank. The middle part is lowered and forms the footrest. It also has a raised part (6) forming the seats.
- the rear part (9) forms a trunk divided into an upper compartment for receiving accessories or bags from the user, and a lower compartment containing the propellant.
- the machine is surmounted by a sun visor (11). It also comprises a lever (12) for controlling the direction and the operation of the thruster.
- FIG. 2 shows a rear view of the machine.
- the rear part (9) of the shell has a hatch (12) allowing access to a storage chest.
- the sun visor (11) is supported by a mast (13) held by a rigid base (14) fixed to the chassis.
- the ends of the buoyancy tank (1) are also fixed to this rigid base (14).
- This base has a cutout for the directional nozzle (15).
- FIG 3 shows a detailed view of the buoyancy reserve. It consists of an inflatable element of generally annular shape, the rear part has a cutout (16) of complementary shape to the rigid base (14) which fits into this cutout. The two front faces (17, 18) are fixed on the base (14) by bolts or any equivalent means.
- Carrying straps (2) are attached to the edge of the buoyancy reserve. Valves (20) allow the various compartments to be inflated.
- Figure 4 shows an exploded view of the powertrain. It comprises, in addition to a heat engine not shown, a nozzle (21) and a water intake element (22).
- the intake element (22) is formed by a cylindrical piece mounted on the bottom of the chassis by Silentblocks or damping means and capable of reducing noise and the transmission of vibrations.
- the intake element is composed of an inner tubular part (24) and a base (25) has a disc (26) for fixing on the bottom of the chassis extended by a tubular part ( 27).
- the connection between the inner tubular part (24) on which the nozzle (21) is secured, and the outer part (25) is effected by an elastic seal (28) ensuring the fixing functions, limiting the transmission of vibrations and sealing.
- the intake element (22) opens on the bottom of the chassis, in a direction substantially perpendicular to the bottom, by means of a protective grid (23).
- the other end of the intake element (22) has a collar (29) for fixing to the nozzle (21).
- a propeller (30) Inside the intake element (22) is placed a propeller (30) whose shape evokes that of a meat grinder. It has three helical blades (31 to 33) welded to a hub (34) of cylindrical shape and preferably conical, diverging upstream. A connecting pin (35) provides the connection with the heat engine. This connecting axis passes through a guide (37) fixed on the nozzle, and is held by bearings (36).
- the nozzle has a front inlet, oriented downward, and a radial outlet, oriented rearward, perpendicular to the direction of intake. It has a decreasing interior section, and a helical wall causing an acceleration of the water jet.
- Another outlet (41) disposed on the ejection pipe (42) performs the suction function of the stagnant water possibly at the bottom of the chassis.
- a directional nozzle (43) articulated on the end of the ejection tube (42) ensures the orientation of the jet in the horizontal plane.
- This directional nozzle (43) is controlled by the handle (12). The connection is ensured by a single cable.
- FIG. 5 shows a detailed view of the control handle.
- the handle consists of a rod
- the rod (50) provided at its end with a trackball (51).
- the rod (50) is articulated around two perpendicular axes.
- the first axis is defined by a hemispherical cup (52) movable relative to a hemispherical base (53)
- This base has an annular chute (55) for collecting water drops and dust.
- This chute opens onto the outer surface of the hull through an evacuation slot.
- the base is extended by a fixing plate (56) for mounting on the shell having for this purpose a circular hole.
- the second axis is constituted by a pivot
- the end (60) of a cable is fixed to the lower part (61) of the rod.
- the cable has a sheath stopped by a stop (59). This cable is connected to the control arm of the engine accelerator.
- the rod In the perpendicular direction, the rod has a second anchor point (62) of a means for controlling the directional nozzle.
- Figure 6 shows a sectional view of an alternative embodiment of the shell.
- the shell is produced in the form of a rigid structure, for example by molding a material such as P.V.C.
- the shell is made in two parts: a lower part, comprising the entire floating part, and an upper part forming a cover comprising the visible parts.
- the junction line is provided above the waterline.
- the hull section is approximately circular.
- the two parts are connected along a belt line by gluing.
- the upper part forms a cover comprising housings for organs such as the engine or the batteries.
- This shell has an annular outer casing (100) on which is glued a honeycomb crown (101) forming a shock absorber.
- This crown has a section in the shape of an arc of a circle, and has longitudinal channels giving it elasticity.
- This crown (101) is produced by extruding a material such as P.V.C.
