Abstract

L'invention concerne un ensemble levier de changement de vitesse pour une boîte de vitesses d'un véhicule à moteur. Un levier de changement de vitesse (6), qui fait saillie dans le compartiment passager, est monté pivotant dans un élément de support (3). Pour réduire le risque de blessure en cas d'impact contre la tête (8) du levier de changement de vitesse (6), il est prévu, selon l'invention, que l'élément de support (3) soit logé, de façon à pouvoir être déplacé, dans une ouverture (2) correspondante d'un châssis (1) et soit maintenu par un moyen de retenue (4) qui est conçu de façon à se casser lorsqu'une charge axiale prédéterminée s'exerçant sur le levier de changement de vitesse (6) est dépassée, ce qui permet à l'élément de support (3) de s'enfoncer dans l'ouverture (2).
