Abstract

L'invention porte sur un appareil permettantd'éclairer, sans dispositif traditionnel d'allumage, une lampe ou un tube à décharge (1). Cet appareil comprend deux pôles de contact espacés qui, pour être allumés, nécessitent qu'un arc électrique se forme entre eux (5, 6). Dans cet appareil, le tube à décharge (1) est raccordé en série dans un circuit électrique comprenant une bobine d'arrêt (3), la lampe à décharge (1) et un condensateur (9). Parallèlement, au-dessus des pôles de contact (5, 6) du tube à décharge (1) est disposé un circuit qui comprend, en série, une résistance (10) et une diode (11). La résistance, raccordée parallèlement au-dessus du tube à décharge (1), a une très haute résistance comprise, par exemple, entre 1 et 20 kΦ. La diode (11) peut être d'environ 1 mA. Une résistance (12) peut être raccordée parallèlement au-dessus du condensateur (9).
