Abstract
Cette invention concerne un procédé de nettoyage et de stérilisation d'endoscopes qui consiste à effectuer un traitement en trois étapes à l'aide de solutions à base de chlorure de sodium et d'eau du robinet, l'eau du robinet étant débarrassée des ions de métaux lourds ainsi que d'une partie des sels durs qu'elle contient. Ces solutions contiennent au maximum 1 g/l de chlorure de sodium et sont traitées successivement dans les chambres cathodique et anodique d'un appareil d'électrolyse à diaphragme qui utilise des électrodes insolubles et un diaphragme en céramique. La solution utilisée au cours de la première étape possède un pH de 4,5 à 5,5 et un contenu en ingrédients actifs allant jusqu'à 300 mg/l en ce qui concerne le chlore actif. La solution utilisée au cours de la deuxième étape possède un pH de 6,5 à 7,0 et un contenu en ingrédients actifs allant jusqu'à 200 mg/l en ce qui concerne le chlore actif, tandis que la solution utilisée au cours de la troisième étape possède un pH de 7,7 à 8,2 et un contenu en ingrédients actifs allant jusqu'à 100 mg/l en ce qui concerne le chlore actif. On ajoute en outre un détergent aux solutions utilisées au cours de la première et de la deuxième étapes, ceci dans des proportions allant de 0,1 à 0,5 % et de 0,05 à 0,1 % respectivement, le détergent pouvant par exemple consister en du stéarate de sodium. La durée du traitement varie de 4 à 6 minutes. Lors de la préparation des solutions, on ajoute un hydrocarbonate de sodium à la solution de départ, le contenu total en chlorure et en hydrocarbonate de sodium ne dépassant 1 g/l.
