  • Electronic map data collection unit using data col- lected as described in 1) characterised by a calculation and storage module calculating and storing the position of moving vehicles to establish information about the path on which the vehicles are moving.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système de collecte de données sur des situations de trafic (données décrivant, par exemple, la situation actuelle du trafic et les meilleures voies d'acheminement entre une quelconque position de départ et une quelconque position ciblée) dans le but d'utiliser un réseau téléphonique mobile de manière plus efficace et opportune. On décrit un procédé caractérisé par l'utilisation de données de mouvement et de position de téléphones mobiles ou de matériel de communication mobile comme matière de base entrant dans le calcul desdits mouvements et positions.
