Abstract

L'attribution des largeurs de bandes de systèmes de télécommunication est de préférence effectuée de manière prédictive. Les paquets sont identifiés avec des flux de données particuliers et les caractéristiques des flux de données sont utilisées pour prévoir les besoins probables en largeur de bande dans le futur. Ces prévisions sont utilisées pour attribuer des voies à grande largeur de bande, telles que les voies ISDN B et pour fermer ou commuter des voies en fonction des besoins prévus. Le système est de préférence un système qui fonctionne en mode d'auto-apprentissage et peut modifier une base de règles pour prendre des décisions d'attribution qui sont par exemple fondées sur des statistiques en vigueur à ce moment précis.
