Abstract

Selon l'invention, dans un montage en série optique constitué d'un élément de Faraday (F) sensible au courant et d'un élément (B1, Bi, Bn) sensible à une composante (E1, Ei, En) d'un champ électrique, un signal lumineux émis (LS) subit une influence modifiant son état de polarisation ainsi qu'une caractéristique optique différente de l'état de polarisation. A partir de cette modification sont dérivées une première grandeur de mesure (M11, M1i, M1n) pour les composantes (E1, Ei, En) du champ électrique et une seconde grandeur de mesure (M2) pour le courant électrique (I).
