Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système automatisé d'encaissement de documents comportant une machine automatisé qui encaisse les documents de transactions monétaires, tels que les chèques et les mandats, et effectue des dépôts provisoires sur le compte bancaire de l'utilisateur après validation de sa part, ainsi qu'un document d'opération bancaire, sans l'aide d'un caissier de banque. La validation de l'identité de l'utilisateur s'effectue au moyen d'une carte associée aux renseignements identifiant l'utilisateur. En outre, on peut utiliser un dispositif biométrique pour identifier la validité de l'utilisateur. La validation du document en question implique une ou plusieurs de ces opérations: validation de la présence d'une signature; validation du montant du document de la transaction monétaire, notamment l'entrée manuelle du montant par l'utilisateur; validation CAR sur le LAR; et enfin, validation des paramètres et règles du système bancaire pour le client et/ou la transaction. En vue de faciliter l'analyse automatique des données relatives aux documents de transaction monétaire ou aux documents de versement, l'utilisateur est invité à fournir un cadre de délimitation sur les données. L'utilisateur peut effleurer un écran tactile à images pour localiser le cadre de délimitation, et il peut également agrandir les données pour remplir le cadre de délimitation et exclure d'autres données de cette analyse. Après validation du document et du client, ce système distribue l'argent ou transfère la somme d'argent sur un compte d'épargne, un compte chèques, une carte de crédit, ou analogue. Ce système est également capable de rédiger des mandats ou d'effectuer des transferts d'argent. En alimentant la machine en argent sous forme d'espèces, d'autorisation de carte de crédit, de solde de carte de crédit, ou autres, l'utilisateur peut payer ses factures, comme les factures de services publics par exemple, en utilisant ce système ou encore acheter des articles fournies par le système.
