  • Test example 1
  • This test was conducted to determine the type of lipid used in the nutritional composition of the present invention.
  • Test meal 1 contains soybean oil (manufactured by NOF Corporation) composed of long-chain fatty acid triglycerides, so that the essential fatty acids linoleic acid and linolenic acid each amounted to 4.9 g per 100 g of test meal. Contains 0.7 g.
  • Test meal 2 contains soybean phospholipid (manufactured by Lucas Meyer, Germany) instead of soybean oil, and its lipid composition is as shown in Table 2. Various phospholipids are the main constituents. However, it contains 9.7% of long-chain fatty acid triglycerides. As shown in Table 1, the content of linoleic acid and monolinolenic acid in Test Meal 2 was smaller than that of Test Meal 1 and was 2.0 g and 0.3 g per 100 g, respectively.

It is known that these compounds are also synthesized in this manner. Therefore, in this study, it was presumed that blood triglycerides were elevated. Therefore, in this disease, it is necessary to pay attention to the excessive intake of phospholipids, as well as to limit the intake of long-chain fatty acid triglycerides as described above. In other words, application of high-purity phospholipids among commercially available phospholipid products is effective for the prevention and treatment of this disease. Therefore, it is desirable that the phospholipid used has a purity of 80% or more that does not contain neutral lipids, which are acetone-soluble lipids, as much as possible.
