Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'implantation (1) de stents (2) à dilatation automatique, qui sont conçus de manière à pouvoir se dilater dans leur position d'implantation sans l'apport de forces externes . Ce dispositif d'implantation (1) comporte un cathéter (3) sur lequel le stent (2) peut être placé. Un tube de recouvrement (4) est prévu pour maintenir le stent (2) dans sa position d'implantation non dilatée. Ce tube de recouvrement (4) est placé par-dessus le stent (2) sur le cathéter (3). De plus, le dispositif d'implantation (1) dispose d'un dispositif d'activation (5) qui coopère avec le tube de recouvrement (4) afin de retirer ce tube de recouvrement le long de l'axe (A) du cathéter, transférant ainsi le stent (2) dans sa position d'implantation finale.
