Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht, sich auf eine Schaltung zur Frequenzaufbereitung, Modulation und AFC, wobei diese Funktionen digital ausgeführt werden sollen. Grundlegende Überlegung der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es dabei, die Funktionen Kanaleinstellung (über einen großen Frequenzbereich) und Modulation (relativ geringer Frequenzbereich) aufzuteilen. Erfindungsgemäß ist dazu eine Schaltung mit einem Referenzoszillator (1) und einer ersten PLL-Schaltung (2) mit einem ersten VCO (4) vorgesehen. Die erste PLL-Schaltung (2) ist mit dem Referenzoszillator (1) verbunden und dient zur Frequenzkanaleinstellung durch Verstimmung des ersten VCO (4). Eine zweite PLL-Schaltung (2) ist vorgesehen, die einen feinverstimmbaren zweiten VCO (5) aufweist, wobei die zweite PLL-Schaltung (3) ebenfalls mit dem Referenzoszillator verbunden ist. Der zweiten PLL-Schaltung (3) werden aufzumodulierende Daten zugeführt, die diese durch Feinverstimmung des zweiten VCO (5) auf eine feste Trägerfrequenz moduliert. Weiterhin ist eine Phasendetektorschleife (6, 7, 8) mit einem dritten VCO (6) und einem Phasendetektor (8) vorgesehen, wobei dem Phasendetektor (8) einerseits ein moduliertes Signal basierend auf dem Ausgangssignal des zweiten VCO (5) und andererseits ein Mischsignal des Ausgangssignals des ersten VCO (4) und des dritten VCO (6) zugeführt werden.
