Abstract

L'invention concerne une machine électrique pouvant fonctionner comme un moteur-démarreur-(volant), et ou un générateur pour moteurs à combustion interne (appelés ici moteurs CI ou moteurs). Un ensemble embrayage/frein/roue planétaire permet un fonctionnement à deux vitesses et en roue libre. Grâce au mode en roue libre, la machine peut être reliée en permanence au moteur à combustion interne et convient donc parfaitement à la double récupération d'énergie par turbine, un arbre rapide permettant la combinaison d'un turbocompresseur et, de préférence un compresseur non turbo. L'invention porte également sur les diverses formes pratiques, des dispositifs de commande associés et des équipements auxiliaires permettant à la machine d'être utilisée dans plusieurs applications différentes. La configuration électrique des machines utilisées peut varier selon l'application.
