Abstract

L'invention concerne des gènes isolés de Arabidopsis qui codent pour des protéines essentielles au développement normal d'une plante. Elle concerne également des procédés permettant d'utiliser ces protéines pour rechercher de nouveaux herbicides, basés sur le caractère essentiel des gènes dans la croissance et le développement normaux. Elle peut également être mise en application dans une méthode de criblage permettant d'identifier des inhibiteurs qui sont des herbicides potentiels. Elle s'applique également au développement de plantes, de tissus végétaux, de semences et de cellules végétales tolérants aux herbicides.
