Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Computertomographie(CT)-Gerät mit einstellbaren Betriebsparametern (I, T), welches eine Steuereinheit und Mittel zum Vorwählen einer Kombination von Betriebsparametern (I, T) für eine durchzuführende Untersuchung aufweist. Dabei ermittelt eine Steuereinheit für den Fall, daß für eine durchzuführende Untersuchung eine Kombination von Betriebsparametern (I, T) vorgewählt ist, die zu einem unzulässigen Betriebszustand führen könnte, für wenigstens einen Betriebsparameter (I, T) einen von der vorgewählten Kombination von Betriebsparametern (I, T) abweichenden Wert, für den die vorgesehene Untersuchung unter Vermeidung des unzulässigen Betriebszustandes ohne signifikante Verminderung der Bildqualität gegenüber der vorgewählten Kombination von Betriebsparametern (I, T) durchführbar ist.
