Abstract

L'invention concerne un système informatique destiné à faciliter la conception d'un système de procédés de fabrication constitué d'une pluralité de modules de traitement. Ledit système comprend un modèle de programme linéaire, un processeur, et une mémoire à laquelle le processeur peut accéder. Le modèle de programme linéaire constitue une pluralité d'équations linéaires décrivant les contraintes régissant le système de procédés de fabrication. Ces équations linéaires comprennent des variables, en l'occurrence les informations de prix associées à un produit d'entrée au moins et à un produit de sortie au moins de l'un des modules de traitement au moins. Le système informatique selon l'invention comprend également un moteur de programme linéaire stocké dans la mémoire et s'exécutant sur la processeur. Ce moteur de programme linéaire sert, en outre, à produire une solution optimale pour le système d'équations linéaires.
