Abstract

L'invention concerne une logique de programme pour rechercher des informations dans un réseau d'information constitué d'une pluralité de calculateurs et de lignes de transmission de données, par exemple dans Internet ou dans un intranet. Un profil de recherche est tout d'abord établi pour chaque utilisateur au moyen de termes de recherche et éventuellement d'adresses de fichiers connues dans le réseau. Une recherche de fichiers est effectuée automatiquement, à des intervalles de temps pouvant être prédéterminés, lors d'une étape de recherche sur la base du profil de recherche. Les fichiers trouvés et leurs adresses sont mis à disposition de chaque utilisateur pour permettre la vérification et l'acquisition d'informations. Les opérations de vérification sont surveillées par les utilisateurs. Les fichiers vérifiés par les utilisateurs et les renvois, ainsi obtenus, à d'autres fichiers du réseau d'information sont analysés pour permettre de déterminer de nouveaux termes de recherche et/ou de nouvelles adresses dans le réseau. Chaque étape de recherche est suivie d'une étape d'adaptation, au cours de laquelle le profil de recherche est adapté à de nouveaux termes de recherche et/ou à de nouvelles adresses dans le réseau.
