It will be seen that the system has the ability to function equally well in either direction of wheel rotation.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un ensemble frein hydraulique (20) destiné au freinage d'une roue d'un véhicule et comprenant une pompe hydraulique (6a, 6b), laquelle comporte un orifice d'entrée et un orifice de sortie, et est reliée de manière fonctionnelle à la roue afin d'être entraînée par cette roue, une soupape (8a) servant à créer un circuit hydraulique fermé (21) entre l'orifice d'entrée et l'orifice de sortie, des moyens de commande (23) de la soupape destinés à commander la soupape (8a) en fonction des changements d'inertie du véhicule, aux fins de régulation de la résistance à l'écoulement du fluide hydraulique dans le circuit (21). Dans un autre mode de réalisation, une autre pompe, commandée par un moteur électrique, peut être montée en plus de l'ensemble frein hydraulique (20), aux fins d'entraînement sélectif de la roue.
