Abstract

Die Aufbewahrungstechnik van biologischen Flüssigpräparaten hat sich seit Jahrhunderten praktisch nicht verändert: verwendet werden Gläser - in neuerer Zeit auch Gefässe aus Plexiglas oder Kunststoff -mit unterschiedlichsten Verschlusssystemen. Solche Sammlungen sind verschiedensten Gefahren ausgesetzt. Ausgehend vom heutigen Stand der Technik wurde ein neuartiges, industriell produzierbares, langfristig hochdichtes una wiederverschliessbares Präparateglas zu entwickelt. Da die Weiterentwicklung bestehender Verschluss-Systeme nicht zum Erfolg führte, musste ein völlig neues Verschlusss-System entwickelt werden. Das Resultat ist ein neues zweiteiliges Verschluss-System. Das Präparateglas (1) besteht aus einem Borosilikatglas mit optimaler Forrngebung una einem Verschluss aus Edelstahl. Die Dichtungsmasse (10, 104, 204) - ein neu entwickeltes Elastomer - schliesst das Gefäss (1) für Jahrzehnte dicht ab. Trotzdern ist das Präparat leicht zugänglich. Das Gefäss (1) ist in verschiedenen standardisierten Verschlussgrossen una Höhen lieferbar, die einzelnen Komponenten sind auswechselbar. Durch den geringeren Wartungsaufwand ergeben sich längerfristig grosse Kosteneinsparungen.
