Abstract

L'invention concerne un système automatisé pour gérer des informations d'assurance. Ce système réside sur un serveur hôte et communique avec des affiliés et des prestataires par l'intermédiaire d'un réseau. Ce système comprend une base de données pour le stockage d'informations et des outils de traitement comprenant des outils de service à la clientèle, des outils d'évaluation des demandes, ainsi qu'un moteur de calcul de prestations qui calcule une prestation applicable d'après des informations reçues. Le système comprend également des outils de traitement de paiement des prestations destinés au paiement des prestations, ainsi que des outils d'ajustement et de traitement de paiement des dépenses. Le système comprend en outre des outils de relevé des demandes remplissant des fonctions de relevé, ainsi que des outils de gestion des demandes et de chargement de plans pour l'identification d'un plan et la mise à jour du moteur de calcul de prestations.
