Abstract

Diese Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Steuern des Solldrucks eines Geräts zur Durchführung der CPAP-Therapie sowie ein Gerät zur Durchführung des Verfahrens. Das Verfahren umfasst den Schritt: Wiederholtes Messen eines Atemluftflusses während des Betriebs des Geräts zur Durchführung der CPAP-Therapie, wobei aus dem gemessenen zeitlichen Verlauf des Atemluftflusses bei konstantem Solldruck mindestens ein Kriterium wie z. B. eine Rückwärtskorrelation von Atemzyklen, die Veränderung von Inspirationsvolumina oder ein Krümmungsmerkmal während der Inspiration berechnet wird, aufgrund dessen der Solldruck erhöht oder erniedrigt wird.
