Abstract

Cette invention concerne un procédé de production d'une fibre lyocell teinte et finie présentant un fini net et doux au toucher, lequel procédé consiste à teinter, laver et sécher une fibre lyocell au moyen d'un procédé énergique, tel que la teinture par jet ou le séchage rotatif appliqué sur la fibre lors d'au moins une des étapes de manière qu'une fibrillation soit produite sur la surface de l'étoffe. Cette invention se caractérise par ce que, avant l'étape de séchage, la fibre est uniformément imprégnée d'une solution aqueuse composée d'un acide ou d'un donneur acide, puis elle est traitée thermiquement dans une atmosphère gazeuse afin que l'action de l'acide ou du donneur acide soit activée. Cette fibre teinte et finie présente un fini net et doux au toucher sensiblement exempt de marques de cassures visibles habituellement produites sur des fibres lyocell qui ont été soumises à un procédé énergique lors de la teinture et/ou du finissage.
