Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système optique comprenant: un dispositif optique intégré présentant un élément de circuit photonique à commande électronique destiné à recevoir un signal optique d'au moins une trajectoire optique, et à diriger de manière sélective le signal optique vers une ou plusieurs trajectoires optiques de sortie sélectionnées d'une pluralité, et étant électriquement réglable entre une pluralité d'états dans lesquels le signal optique d'entrée est dirigé de manière sélective vers une trajectoire de sortie différente ou combinaison de trajectoires de sortie différente; des éléments d'atténuation de diode PIN commandables électriquement, associés à chacune des trajectoires de sortie; et un circuit électrique destiné à commander les éléments d'atténuation de diode PIN en coopération avec l'élément de circuit photonique de sorte que les éléments d'atténuation de diode PIN associés à une ou plusieurs des trajectoires sélectionnées se trouvent dans un état passant, et que les éléments d'atténuation de diode PIN associés à des trajectoires de sortie autres que les trajectoires sélectionnées, se trouvent dans un état non passant afin de supprimer sensiblement toute puissance de signal dans ces trajectoires de sortie.
