Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de prévision de la combustion de charbon dans un brûleur à chargeur mécanique comportant une grille de foyer. Ledit procédé consiste à atteindre le degré de combustion de charbon par zone unitaire de la grille de foyer dans le brûleur à chargeur mécanique à partir des propriétés et de la teneur en cendres (A), de la teneur en humidité totale (M), et de la teneur en matériau volatile (VM) selon la formule W = K x F/(1 A M)/(1 VM), K étant le facteur d'opération du brûleur et F étant le coefficient de combustion de carbone. La compatibilité de la combustion dans le brûleur à chargeur mécanique est prévue sur la base du degré de combustion du charbon.
