Abstract

Eine dielektrische Barrieren-Entladungslampe (1) mit einem rohrförmigen Entladungsgefäß (2) und einer Leuchtstoffschicht auf zumindest einem Teil der Innenwand des Entladungsgefäßes (2) und mit länglichen Elektroden (3) ist mindestens an einem Ende des rohrförmigen Entladungsgefäßes (2) auf einem Teilbereich der Innenwand mit einer Beschichtung (10) versehen, die außerdem ein Ende mindestens einer länglichen Elektrode (3) bedeckt. Das Material dieser Beschichtung (10) weist einen hohen Sekundärelektronenemissionskoeffizienten auf. Dadurch wird das Zündverhalten der Lampe insbesondere beim Zünden in Dunkelheit verbessert.
