明 細 書
包装袋及びその製造方法 技術分野
本発明は、 包装袋及び包装袋の製造方法に関する。 より詳しくは、 包装袋とし ての可撓性を有し、 且つ薬液バッグゃ輸液バッグなどとして使用しても内容液の 含有成分が吸着することが少ない包装袋及びその製造方法に関する。 背景技術
従来、 成分非吸着性容器としては、 環状ポリオレフイン等の吸着性の小さい樹 脂により構成される射出あるいはプロ一ボトルが提案されている。
しかしながら、 上記のようなボトルは、 環状ポリオレフイン等が硬いこともあ り、 われやすく、 また、 使用する樹脂量も多く、 環状ポリオレフイン等が非常に 高価な樹脂であるために、 形成されるボトル自体も高価なものになってしまう。 更に、 硬いためにつぶすことが容易でなく、 廃棄時にかさばってしまい、 廃棄性 も悪いという問題もあった。
一方、 環状ポリオレフイン等を使用したフィルムを成膜することは可能であつ たが、 環状ポリオレフイン等は、 樹脂自体にヒ一トシ一ル性が乏しいため、 高い ヒートシール強度を有する内容量 3 0 0 m l以上の大容量袋体とすることができ ないという問題があった。 発明の開示
本発明は、 従来の成分非吸着性のブローボトルや射出成形容器の廃棄問題と、 容器コストが高価であり、 なかなか使用することができなかったという問題点を 解決し、 廃棄がしゃすく、 安価な成分非吸着性の包装袋及びその製造方法を提供 することを目的とする。
本発明は、 上記目的を達成するため、
( 1 ) 最内層がポリエステル、 ポリアミド、 ポリアクリロニトリル、 ポリカーボ ネート、 環状ポリオレフィン及びポリ弗化工チレンからなる群より選ばれる一種 又は二種以上の樹脂により形成された二枚の樹脂フィルムからなり、 該ニ枚の樹 脂フィルムが、 各最内層が内側となるように相対すると共に、 これら二枚の樹脂 フィルムの周縁部の少なくとも一部が、 上記樹脂フィルムに溶融接着可能な熱可 塑性樹脂からなる周縁接着部を介して接着されたことを特徴とする包装袋、 及び、 ( 2 ) 最内層がポリエステル、 ポリアミド、 ポリアクリロニトリル、 ポリカーボ ネ一ト、 環状ポリオレフィン及びポリ弗化工チレンからなる群より選ばれる一種 又は二種以上の樹脂により形成された二枚の樹脂フィルムを、 各最内層が内側と なるように相対させ、 上記樹脂フィルムに溶融接着可能な熱可塑性樹脂を用いて 上記二枚の樹脂フィルムの周縁部の少なくとも一部を接着して製袋することを特 徵とする包装袋の製造方法
を提供する。
即ち、 本発明の包装袋は、 最内層がポリエステル、 ポリアミド、 ポリ.ァクリロ 二トリル、 ポリ力一ポネート、 環状ポリオレフイン及びポリ弗化工チレンからな る群より選ばれる一種又は二種以上の樹脂により形成された二枚の樹脂フィルム が、 各最内層が内側となるように相対すると共に、 これらの周縁部の少なくとも 一部が、 上記樹脂フィルムに溶融接着可能な熱可塑性樹脂からなる周縁接着部を 介して接着されているので、 可撓性を有する包装袋が得られると共に、 上記樹脂 は、 成分非吸着性であるため、 例えば薬液バッグなどとして使用しても内容液の 含有成分が吸着することが少ない包装袋が得られる。 また、 ビタミン D含有の輸 液バッグなどとして使用しても内容液の含有成分が吸着することが少ない包装袋 が得られる。
ここで、 上記周縁接着部が、 上記二枚の樹脂フィルムの最外層を覆う熱可塑性 樹脂からなる周縁接合部によって接合され、 接着したものであったり、 熱可塑性 樹脂を上記二枚の樹脂フィルムの間にこれらの周縁部に押出して上記二枚の樹脂 フィルムの周縁部を接着したものであったり、 熱可塑性樹脂によりあらかじめ成 型された周縁接着部を上記二枚の樹脂フィルム間に配置して熱圧着し、 上記二枚 の樹脂フィルムの周縁部を接着したものであると、 上記二枚の樹脂フィルムを容 易に接着できると共に、 接着性が良好で、 強度がより良好な包装袋が得られる。 更に、 上記包装袋が口部を備えたものであり、 該ロ部の少なくとも一部があら かじめ例えば熱シールや超音波シールにてシール又は予備シールされたのち、 上 記周縁接着部と一体となるように成形されたものであると、 口部と包装袋との接 着性が良好で液漏れなどが生じ難い包装袋が得られる。 また、 上記二枚の樹脂フ イルムの間に口部を挿入してあらかじめヒートシールしたのち、 少なくとも口部 のある周縁部の上記樹脂フィルムの最外層に上記熱可塑性樹脂を用いて上記樹脂 フィルムと上記口部を固定することによつても良好な接着性が得られる。
そして、 上記二枚の樹脂フィルムの最外層を形成する樹脂と、 上記周縁接着部 を形成する熱可塑性樹脂とが同一又は同種の樹脂であると、 接着性がより良好な ものとなる。 また、 上記二枚の樹脂フィルムの最内層を形成する上記樹脂と、 上 記周縁接着部を形成する熱可塑性樹脂とが同一又は同種の樹脂であると、 接着性 がより良好なものとなる。 同様に、 上記口部の少なくとも内容品と接する部分が 上記包装袋の最内層の樹脂と同一又は同種の樹脂にて構成されていると、 非吸着 性の効果がより良好なものとなる。
なお、 上記樹脂フィルムがガスバリア層を含むものであると、 例えば薬液バッ グ等のようにガスバリア性も要求される内容物を収容する包装袋として、 より好 適に使用することができる。
このような包装袋は、 最内層がポリエステル、 ポリアミド、 ポリアクリロニト リル、 ポリカーボネート、 環状ポリオレフイン及びポリ弗化工チレンからなる群 より選ばれる一種又は二種以上の樹脂により形成された二枚の樹脂フィルムを、 各最内層が内側となるように相対させ、 上記樹脂フィルムの最内層あるいは最外 層に溶融接着可能な熱可塑性樹脂を用いて上記二枚の樹脂フィルムの周縁部の少 なくとも一部を上記周縁接着部を介して接着して製袋する方法により、 好適に製 造することができる。 なお、 二種以上の樹脂により樹脂フィルムを形成する場合、 樹脂フィルムの最外層としては、 特に制限はないが、 ポリエチレンあるいはポリ プロピレンなどのポリオレフィン樹脂であるとより好適である。
即ち、 上述したように、 上記樹脂フィルムの最外層に同一又は同種のポリオレ フィン樹脂を押出すことができる。
また、 上記口部と上記樹脂フィルム、 及び Z又は、 上記二枚の樹脂フィルム同 士の間をあらかじめシールすることにより、 それらの少なくとも一部同士が接着 又は仮接着されるので、 上記樹脂フィルムの最外層に熱可塑性樹脂を押出すに際 して、 それら同士の位置を正確に固定でき、 良好な接着が得られる。 更に、 上記 二枚の樹脂フィルム間の少なくとも一部をあらかじめヒートシールしたのち、 上 記樹脂フィルムの最外層に上記熱可塑性樹脂を用いて上記樹脂フィルムを固定す ることにより、 樹脂フィルム間に内容液が入り込みにくくなるので、 例えば上記 熱可塑性樹脂がポリオレフィン樹脂などの、 内容品の成分を吸着しやすい樹脂で あつたとしても吸着量を少なくすることができる。 図面の簡単な説明

本発明につき図面を参照して更に詳しく説明する。 第 1図は本発明の包装袋の 一例を説明する包装袋 1の概略縦断面図であり、 第 2図は、 包装袋 1の構成を説 明するために、 各構成部を分離させて模式的に示した包装袋 1の模式図 (分解斜 視図) である。 この包装袋 1は、 二枚の樹脂フィルム 2 , 2の周縁部を、 該周縁 に沿った形状を有する周縁接着部 3を介して溶融接着したものであり、 周縁接着 部 3には、 口部 (ポート) 4がー体成形されている。 第 3, 4図は本発明の包装 袋の他の例を説明する包装袋 1の概略縦断面図である。
樹脂フィルム 2は、 最内層 2 aがポリエステル、 ポリアミド、 ポリアクリロニ トリル、 ポリカーボネート、 環状ポリオレフイン及びボリ弗化工チレンから選ば れる一種又は二種以上の成分非吸着性の熱可塑性樹脂により形成されている。 な お、 ボリエステルとしては、 例えばアモルファスポリエチレンテレフ夕レート、 ポリエチレンナフタレート等、 ポリアミドとしては、 例えば 6ナイロン、 ァモル ファスナイ Πン等、 環状ポリオレフィンとしては、 例えば環状才レフィンコポリ マ一等、 ポリ弗化工チレンとしては、 例えばポリテトラフルォロエチレン等が挙 げられる。
また、 上記環状ポリオレフインの市販品としては、 例えば三井石油化学工業株 式会社製の商品名 「アベル」 (環状ォレフィンコポリマー) 、 日本ゼオン株式会 社製の商品名 「ゼォノア」 (シクロォレフィンポリマ一) など、 上記ポリアミド としては、 例えば三井 ·デュポンボリケミカル株式会社製の商品名 「シ一ラー p A」 (アモルファスナイロンレジン) など、 上記ポリエステルとしては、 例えば 三井 ·デュポンポリケミカル株式会社製の商品名 「シ一ラー P T」 (多機能ポリ エステル樹脂) など、 上記ポリアクリロニトリルとしては、 例えば三井化学株式 会社製の商品名 「バレックス」 (アクリロニトリル、 アクリル酸エステル、 ブタ ジェン系ゴムを構成成分とするアクリロニトリル系熱可塑性樹脂) 、 商品名 「ゼ クロン」 (上記ァクリロニトリル系熱可塑性樹脂製シート ·フィルム) 等が挙げ られる。
樹脂フィルム 2の最内層 2 aの層厚さは、 特に制限されるものではないが、 通 常、 5〜; 1 0 0 z m、 好ましくは 1 0〜7 0 m、 より好ましくは 1 5〜5 0 mである。 層厚さが薄すぎると、 本発明が目的とする成分非吸着性が得られない 場合があり、 厚すぎるとそれ以上の成分非吸着性が得られず、 経済的でなく、 ま た、 包装袋の柔軟性が損なわれる場合がある。
樹脂フィルム 2は、 最内層 2 aが上記樹脂であれば、 単層フィルムであっても 他の樹脂や金属箔、 金属蒸着層などを積層した積層フィルムであっても良いが、 例えば薬液バッグなどとして使用することを考慮すれば、 ガスバリア層 2 bを有 することが望ましく、 ガスバリア層 2 bが透明であると、 より好適である。 ガス バリア層 2 bを形成する樹脂は、 その種類が特に制限されるものではなく、 例え ばシリカやアルミナなどの金属酸化物をポリエチレンテレフ夕レート (P E T) 等の樹脂フィルムに蒸着した金属酸化物蒸着樹脂フィルム、 エチレンービニルァ ルコール共重合体 (E V O H) 、 塩化ビニリデン (P V D C) 等が好適に使用で き、 これらの中でも特に、 P V D C、 E V O H, 金属酸化物蒸着 P E T等がより 好適に使用できる。
樹脂フィルム 2のガスバリア層 2 bを金属酸化物蒸着層とした場合の蒸着層の 厚さは、 特に制限されるものではないが、 通常、 300〜 1500A、 好ましく は 400〜 1200入、 より好ましくは 500〜 1000 Αとすると好適である。 層厚さが薄すぎると、 十分なガスバリア性が得られない場合があり、 厚すぎると 蒸着層と基材フィルムとの接着性が悪くなる場合がある。
また、 樹脂フィルム 2のガスバリア層 2 bを樹脂フィルムとした場合の厚さは、 通常、 5〜50 m、 好ましくは 10〜30 m、 より好ましくは 12〜 25 mとすると、 好適である。 層厚さが薄すぎると、 十分なガスバリア性が得られな い場合があり、 厚すぎるとそれ以上のガスバリア性が得られず、 経済的でなく、 また、 樹脂フィルム 2が厚くなりすぎて、 本発明が目的とする包装袋の可撓性が 得られ難くなる場合がある。
本発明の樹脂フィルムは、 更に強度を向上させるために、 他の樹脂からなる層 を積層してもよく、 このような樹脂として、 例えば延伸ナイロンフィルム、 延伸 ポリエチレンテレフ夕レート等からなる層を積層してもよい。 また、 柔軟性を付 与するために、 他の樹脂からなる層を積層してもよく、 このような樹脂として、 例えばポリエチレン、 ポリプロピレン等のポリオレフインからなる層を最外層と して積層してもよい。
樹脂フィルム 2の膜厚さは、 特に制限されるものではないが、 通常 10~40 0 urn, 好ましくは 40〜300 xm、 より好ましくは 42〜 200 mとする と、 好適である。 層厚さが薄すぎると、 包装袋として十分な強度が得られ難くな る場合があり、 厚すぎると十分な可撓性が得られ難くなる場合がある。
樹脂フィルム 2の製造方法は、 特に制限されず、 単層の場合は、 Tダイ押出や インフレーション、 積層して複層とする場合は、 使用材料の種類などによって、 共押出や押出ラミネート、 ドライラミネ一トなど、 適宜公知の方法を採用するこ とができる。 本発明の樹脂フィルムとして好適なフィルム構成、 その製造方法を 以下に例示する。
①最外層 (LLDPE; 20-200 nm) /最内層 (環状ポリオレフィン; 1 5〜50 m) 、 押出ラミネート又は共押出法
②最外層 (LLDPE; 15〜100 ^m) /接着層 (接着性樹脂; 5〜50 m) Z最内層 (アモルファスナイロン; 15〜50 m) 、 押出ラミネート又は 共押出法
③最外層 (LLDPE; 1 5〜; L 0 0 /zm) Z接着層 (接着性樹脂; 5〜5 0 m) /最内層 (6—ナイロン; 1 5〜5 0 zm) 、 押出ラミネート又は共押出法
④最外層 (LLDPE; 1 5〜1 0 0 m) ノ接着層 (接着性樹脂; 5〜5 0 m) /最内層 (ポリエステル 1 5〜5 0 m) 、 押出ラミネート又は共押出法

なお、 上記接着性樹脂としては、 三井化学 (株) 製 「アドマ一」 や三菱化学 (株) 製 「モディック」 などとして市販されているカルボン酸変性ポリオレフィ ン等が好適である。
図 1, 2において、 周縁接着部 3は、 口部 4と一体成形されたものであり、 こ れらの形成樹脂は、 樹脂フィルム 2の最内層 2 aに溶融接着可能な樹脂であれば 特に制限はないが、 この部分からの成分吸着を考慮すると最内層 2 aの形成樹脂 として上述した熱可塑性樹脂と同様のものが好ましく、 本発明の場合、 二枚の樹 脂フィルム 2 , 2の最内層 2 a , 2 a、 周縁接着部 3、 口部 4が同じ樹脂によつ て形成されていることが接着性にも優れ、 より好ましい。
周縁接着部 3は、 図 1, 2に示したように、 あらかじめ所定の包装袋形状とな るように成形された樹脂フィルム 2の周縁部に沿った形状とすることができる。 この場合、 その幅、 厚さは特に制限されるものではないが、 幅 2〜5 0 mm程度、 厚さ 5〜3 0 0 0 m、 特に 1 0〜 1 0 0 0 mとなるように形成されていると 好適である。 幅が狭すぎたり、 厚さが薄すぎると、 十分な接着性が得られ難くな る場合があり、 厚さが厚すぎると樹脂の使用量が増加し、 廃棄性の観点より好ま しくなく、 幅が広すぎると包装袋の十分な内容積が得られ難くなる場合がある。 口部 4は、 その形状、 大きさが特に制限されるものではなく、 包装袋の口部の 使用目的に応じた任意の形状、 大きさとすることができる。 通常、 口部付包装袋 は、 包装袋の一端部に口部部材を揷入し、 熱融着して製造されるので、 口部部材 の厚さが厚いものは口部部材の両端部を確実に接着させることが難しく、 融着作 業に困難を伴うことが多いが、 本発明においては、 周縁接着部 3と口部 4とを一 体に成型することができるので、 そのような困難を伴うことはない。
包装袋 1の製造方法は、 特に制限されるものではなく、 例えば包装袋 1を製造 するに当たり、 周縁接着部 3が、 上記熱可塑性樹脂を樹脂フィルム 2 , 2の間又 は外面を挟むようにこれらの周縁部に押出し、 樹脂フィルム 2, 2の周縁部を接 着したものであってもよく、 また、 上記熱可塑性樹脂によりあらかじめ成型され た周縁接着部材を樹脂フィルム 2 , 2間に配置して熱圧着し、 樹脂フィルム 2, 2の周縁部を接着したものであってもよいが、 包装袋 1の製造方法としては、 あ らかじめ所定形状に成形した二枚の樹脂フィルム 2 , 2を、 最内層 2 a, 2 aが 内側となるように相対させ、 例えば上記熱可塑性樹脂を用いて口部 4を成形する と共に、 樹脂フィルム 2 , 2の内側周縁部に沿わせた周縁接着部材をロ部 4と一 体に形成し、 樹脂フィルム 2 , 2の周縁部を圧着することで、 周縁接着部 3を介 して樹脂フィルム 2 , 2の周縁部を接着し、 製袋する製造方法が好適である。 押出法の場合、 製造装置としてィンモールド成型ゃィンサート成型が可能な射 出成型機を使用し、 二枚の樹脂フィルム 2, 2を最内層 2 a, 2 aが内側となる ように相対させ、 上記射出成型機の押出機より、 溶融、 軟化させた上記熱可塑性 樹脂を、 口部 4を二枚の樹脂フィルム 2, 2の所定位置に成形すると同時に、 口 部 4より伸びた上記熱可塑性樹脂により、 樹脂フィルム 2, 2の最内層 2 a, 2 aの間に周縁接着部 3を形成するように押出し、 この溶融樹脂と樹脂フィルム 2 , 2とを圧着させることで互いに接着させて、 口部 4を備えた包装袋 1を製造する ことができる。 なお、 この時、 包装袋内部に金型を配置することができないので、 二枚の樹脂フィルム 2,. 2の周縁部において、 周縁接着部 3の幅分内側を図示し ない他の部材で押圧しておくことで、 樹脂が内部に侵入しないようにして、 内容 品が収納される部分を確保することができる。
第 3〜5図は、 口部を形成する方法を示したもので、 環状ォレフィンコポリマ 一 (C O C) 等からなる最内層 1 1と低密度ポリエチレン (L L D P E) 等から なる最外層 1 2とを有する二枚の樹脂フィルム 1 0の間に C O C (第 3図) 又は 内層が C O C、 外層が L L D P E (第 4図) からなる口部 2 0の先部を揷入し、 この挿入先部外面を熱シールと超音波シールによって上記樹脂フィルム 1 0の最 内層 1 1と予備シール 3 0し、 次いで L L D P E等の熱可塑性樹脂 4 0を上記二 枚の樹脂フィルム 1 0の最外層外側面から上記口部 2 0の外側面にかけて射出す ることにより、 口部 2 0を強固に接着することができる (第 5図) 。 なお、 図中 2 1は、 ゴム製密栓を示す。
包装袋 1は、 口部 4より内容物 (図示せず) を充填し、 密封した後、 保存、 運 搬し、 使用時には、 口部 4より内容物を排出することができる。 ここで、 内容物 の種類は、 特に制限されるものではない力、 包装袋 1は、 保存時に内容物の含有 成分が吸着し難いので、 例えばビタミン Dなどを含有する輸液、 メントールなど を含有する薬液、 リモネンなどを含有する果汁などを収容する際に、 特に有用で ある。
なお、 本発明は、 上記構成に制限されるものではなく、 例えば、 二枚の樹脂フ イルム 2 , 2の周縁部と周縁接着部 3の接着強度を向上させるために周縁接着部 3を成型するにあたり、 接着性樹脂などを共押出などの方法で積層しても良く、 周縁接着部 3と一体に成型する部品も口部 4のみならず、 包装袋を吊す取っ手を 成型すること、 更には、 包装袋の形状も一辺が折込みになっていて他の二辺が接 着されるタイプ、 底部が拡開可能な自立袋など、 本発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲 で種々変更して差し支えない。
本発明によれば、 成分非吸着性の樹脂を最内層とする二枚のフィルムを容易、 且つ確実に接着させることができ、 更に、 上記樹脂を使用した包装袋の口部と上 記フィルムとを容易、 且つ確実に接着させることも可能である。 従って、 本発明 の包装袋は、 内容物が触れる面を全て成分非吸着性の樹脂により形成することが 可能であるので、 例えば薬物バッグなどのように吸着性成分が含まれている内容 液を収容する包装袋として、 特に有用であり、 更に、 この包装袋は、 フレキシブ ルであるのでかさばらず、 廃棄しやすく、 且つ安価である。 また、 本発明の包装 袋の製造方法は、 上記のような包装袋を好適に製造することができる。

Claims

請求 の 範 囲
1 . 最内層がポリエステル、 ポリアミド、 ポリアクリロニトリル、 ポリカーボネ 一ト、 環状ポリオレフィン及びポリ弗化工チレンからなる群より選ばれる一種又 は二種以上の樹脂により形成された二枚の樹脂フィルムからなり、 該ニ枚の樹脂 フィルムが、 各最内層が内側となるように相対すると共に、 これら二枚の樹脂フ イルムの周縁部の少なくとも一部が、 上記樹脂フィルムに溶融接着可能な熱可塑 性樹脂からなる周縁接着部を介して接着されたことを特徴とする包装袋。
2 . 上記包装袋が口部を備えたものである請求の範囲第 1項記載の包装袋。
3 . 上記口部が上記周縁接着部と一体となるように成形された請求の範囲第 2項 記載の包装袋。
4 . 上記口部の少なくとも一部が上記二枚のフィルム間に挿入されている請求の 範囲第 2項又は第 3項記載の包装袋。
5 . 上記口部の少なくとも内容品と接する部分が上記包装袋の最内層の樹脂と同 一又は同種の樹脂にて構成されている請求の範囲第 2項乃至第 4項のいずれか 1 項記載の包装袋。
6 . 上記口部と上記樹脂フィルム、 及び/又は、 上記二枚の樹脂フィルム同士の 間があらかじめシールされている請求の範囲第 2項乃至第 5項のいずれか 1項記 載の包装袋。
7 . 上記周縁接着部が、 上記二枚の樹脂フィルムの最外層及び Z又は最内層に押 出された熱可塑性樹脂からなる請求の範囲第 1項乃至第 6項のいずれか 1項記載 の包装袋。
8 . 周縁接着部が、 上記熱可塑性樹脂によりあらかじめ成型された周縁接着部材 を上記二枚の樹脂フィルム間に配置して熱圧着し、 上記二枚の樹脂フィルムの周 縁部を接着したものである請求の範囲第 1項又は第 2項記載の包装袋。
9 . 最内層がポリエステル、 ポリアミド、 ポリアクリロニトリル、 ポリカーポネ ―ト、 環状ボリオレフィン及びポリ弗化工チレンからなる群より選ばれる一種又 は二種以上の樹脂により形成された二枚の樹脂フィルムを、 各最内層が内側とな るように相対させ、 上記樹脂フィルムに溶融接着可能な熱可塑性樹脂を用いて上 記二枚の樹脂フィルムの周縁部の少なくとも一部を接着して製袋することを特徴 とする包装袋の製造方法。
1 0 . 上記樹脂フィルムの最外層及び Z又は最内層に上記熱可塑性樹脂を押出す 請求の範囲第 9項記載の包装袋の製造方法。
1 1 . 上記樹脂フィルムの間に口部を挿入してあらかじめヒートシールしたのち、 少なくとも口部のある周縁部の上記樹脂フィルムの最外層に上記熱可塑性樹脂を 用いて上記樹脂フィルムと上記口部を固定する請求の範囲第 1 0項記載の包装袋 の製造方法。
1 2 . 上記二枚の榭脂フィルム間に少なくとも一部をあらかじめヒートシールし たのち、 上記樹脂フィルムの最外層に上記熱可塑性樹脂を用いて上記樹脂フィル ムを固定する請求の範囲第 1 0項又は第 1 1項記載の包装袋の製造方法。
1 3 . 熱可塑性樹脂によりあらかじめ成型された周縁接着部材を上記二枚の樹脂 フィルム間に配置して熱圧着する請求の範囲第 1 0項記載の包装袋の製造方法。
