従来、 炭素繊維を強化繊維とした炭素繊維強化プラスチック (以下、
C F R Pと云う) は、 比強度、 比弾性率に優れることから、 軽量化によ る燃費が大幅に向上する航空機部材に使われている。 特に、 航空機のフ ラップ、 フェアリングやエルロンなどの 2次構造材ゃ化粧室、 天井パネ ルゃ荷物入れなどの内装材として、 ハニカム構造の芯材とその表面に接 合された板状のスキン材とからハニカムサンドィツチ構造体が用いられ るが、 C F R Pは、 この板状のスキン材の構成部材として多用されてい る。
ハニカムサンドィツチ構造体は、 ハニカム構造の芯材にスキン材とな る炭素繊維織物からなるプリプレダを重ね合わせ、 加熱及び加圧するこ とにより、 プリプレダの熱硬化性樹脂の硬化と、 ハニカムと C F R Pと の接着とを同時に行うことにより成形される。 この製造方法は、 通常、 ハニカム · コキュア法と云われている。 このハニカム · コキュア法において用いられるプリプレダの構成部材 である炭素繊維織物として、 従来、 第 5図に示す炭素繊維織物が使用さ れていた。 第 5図に示す炭素繊維織物 5 0は、 炭素繊維から成るたて糸 5 1 と炭素繊維から成るよこ糸 5 2とからなり、 たて糸 5 1 とよこ糸 5 2 とが交差する近傍に炭素繊維が存在しない大きな目開き部 (空隙部) 5 6を有する。 プリプレダは、 この炭素繊維織物 5 0にマトリックス榭 脂を含浸させることにより形成される。
このプリプレダを用いてハニカムサンドィツチ構造体を成形する際、 ハニカムのコアに接している箇所においては、 プリプレダは加圧される が、 コアに接していない箇所は加圧されない。 この製造過程において、 炭素繊維織物 5 0の空隙部 5 6において、 樹脂の欠落が生じ易い。 樹脂 の欠落が生じると、 成形されたハニカムサンドィツチ構造体のスキン材 に穴が開く問題があった。 このような欠陥のあるハニカムサンドイッチ 構造体は、 その使用時に、 穴からハニカムの空洞内に水が入り込み、 そ の水が凍って膨張することによって、 ハニカムサンドィツチ構造体が壊 れると云う重大な問題引き起こす可能性を有していた。
この問題を避けるために、 ハニカム · コキュア用の織物として、 フィ ラメント数が 3 , 0 0 0本、 繊度が 1, 8 0 0デニールと云う比較的細 い炭素繊維糸条を用いた織物を用いることが行われている。 この炭素繊 維織物は、 目開き部の大きさが小さい織物である。
しかし、 この様な細い炭素繊維糸条は、 それ自体の生産性が低く、 ま た、 それを用いた織物の生産速度が遅いので、 この織物が用いられたハ 二カムサンドイッチ構造体は、 上記問題はないとしても、 高価であると 云う問題がある。
一方、 生産性を上げ、 安価な C F R Pを得るには、 太い炭素繊維糸条 を製造し、 それを織物に用いるのが得策である。 しかし、 太い炭素繊維 糸条から低目付の薄い織物を製造する場合、 製造される織物は、 たて糸 とよこ糸の交錯部の近傍に大きな炭素繊維が存在しない空隙部を有する ものになると云う問題を有する。
また、 太い炭素繊維糸条でありかつそれを構成する炭素繊維が均一に 扁平に分散した織物が、 特開平 7— 3 0 0 7 3 9号公報に提案されてい る。 この織物は、 たて糸とよこ糸に用いられている炭素繊維糸条の横断 面が扁平の状態で、 たて糸とよこ糸とが交錯しているので、 たて糸及び よこ糸のクリンプが小さく、 それを用いた C F R Pの機械的特性は極め て優れている。
しかし、 この炭素繊維扁平糸織物におけるたて糸とよこ糸とは、 ほと んどクリンプすることなく交錯しているので、 交錯部におけるたて糸あ るいはよこ糸の位置を拘束する力は極端に小さい。 この織物を用いて、 ウエッ ト · プリプレダ加工を行うと、 溶媒を乾燥させる際に、 樹脂の表 面張力で、 扁平状のたて糸及びよこ糸は、 その扁平状態を崩し、 丸く集 束する。 その結果、 目開き部の大きさが大きなプリプレダが製造される と云う問題に当面する。
そこで、 炭素繊維糸条のたて糸又はよこ糸に、 低熱収縮性の糸に接着 性ポリマーが被覆された補助糸を炭素繊維糸条に引き揃えて位置せし め、 接着性ポリマーによりたて糸とよこ糸との交点を接着させた織物 が、 特開平 1 0— 3 1 7 2 5 0号公報に提案されている。 このように、 たて糸とよこ糸との交点を接着させておく ことにより、 ウエッ ト · プリ プレダ加工工程における溶媒乾燥時の糸幅集束の度合は、 軽減する。 しかし、 接着性ポリマーが被覆された補助糸は、 炭素繊維糸条と平行 に引き揃えられているので、 補助糸が炭素繊維糸条内に潜り込み、 たて 糸とよこ糸との全ての交点を安定的に接着することが出来ず、 ウエッ ト • プリプレダ加工において、 部分的に、 大きく目開きする問題がある。 また、 接着剤となるポリマーは、 たて糸とよこ糸との糸幅方向のほぼ中 央部には存在するが、 たて糸とよこ糸との交錯によって生じる空隙部 5 6の近傍には接着剤が存在しないので、 ウエッ ト ' プリプレダ加工によ つて、 当初はその大きさが小さい空隙部 5 6が拡大し易い問題がある。 上記したように、 炭素繊維扁平糸織物は、 性能、 コスト面で優れてい るが、 従来、 ウエッ ト · プリプレダ加工で目開きを確実に防ぐ方法がな かった。 すなわち、 上記の従来技術は、 ウエッ ト · プリプレダの目開き の問題を解決するものではなかった。
本発明は、 上記従来技術における問題点を解決することを目的とす る。 すなわち、 炭素繊維から成るたて糸と炭素繊維から成るよこ糸とで 形成された炭素繊維織物の平面方向における炭素繊維の分散が実質的に 均一で、 たて糸とよこ糸との交錯部近傍に生じる空隙が小さく、 カバー ファクタ一の大きい炭素繊維製補強用織物を提供することを目的とす る。
また、 本発明は、 上記本発明に係る炭素繊維製補強用織物をウエッ ト • プリプレダ加工して得られるプリプレダ、 並びに、 その製造方法を提 供することを目的とする。 発明の開示
本発明の炭素繊維製補強用織物は、 炭素繊維から成るたて糸と炭素繊 維から成るよこ糸とから形成された炭素繊維織物と、 該たて糸及び該ょ こ糸の少なくとも一方に沿って配列された補助糸とからなる炭素繊維製 補強用織物において、 該補助糸が、 配列相手のたて糸あるいはよこ糸の 浮き沈みとは異なる浮き沈み関係を持って配列されていることを特徴と する。
前記補助糸が、 隣り合う前記たて糸の間あるいは隣り合う前記よこ糸 の間に配列されていることが好ましい。
前記補助糸は、 低熱収縮性繊維糸条の表面に低融点ポリマーが付着し た糸からなり、 かつ、 前記補助糸と前記たて糸あるいは前記よこ糸との 交差部が、 該低融点ポリマーにより接着されていることが好ましい。 前記低熱収縮繊維糸条は、 繊度が 5 0 0デニール以下のガラス繊維糸 条であることが好ましい。
前記低融点ポリマーの付着量は、 前記補強用織物に対して 0 . 5乃至 1 0重量%の範囲にあることが好ましい。
前記低融点ポリマーが、 前記低熱収縮性繊維糸条の表面に、 S方向及 び Z方向の少なく とも一方向の螺旋形状をもって付着していることが好 ましい。
前記低融点ポリマーは、 アルコールに難溶解性のポリマーであること が好ましい。
前記たて糸及び前記よこ糸のそれぞれの繊度が、 3 , 0 0 0乃至 9 0, 0 0 0デニールの範囲にあり、 前記炭素繊維織物の目付が、 1 0 0 乃至 6 0 0 g Z m 2の範囲にあり、 かつ、 前記補強用織物のカバーファ クタ一が、 9 0 %以上であることが好ましい。
前記たて糸及び前記よこ糸の少なく とも一方において、 その長手方向 に、 低融点ポリマーが点状又は線状に付着し、 前記たて糸と前記よこ糸 との交差部が、 該低融点ポリマ一により接着されていることが好まし い。
前記たて糸と前記よこ糸とが、 平織組織を形成していることが好まし い。
前記たて糸と前記よこ糸とが、 2 Z 2の綾織組織を形成していること が好ましい。
前記たて糸と前記よこ糸とが平織組織を形成し、 前記補助糸が隣り合 う前記たて糸の間に配列され、 該補助糸はガラス繊維糸条から成り、 該 ガラス繊維糸条の表面に S方向及び Z方向の少なく とも一方向の螺旋形 状をもって低融点ポリアミ ドが付着され、 前記補助糸は、 前記よこ糸に 対して少なく とも 2本の連続浮きを有していることが好ましい。
前記補助糸が、 前記よこ糸と 2 : 2の浮き沈み関係を有することが好 ましい。
前記よこ糸上に沿って配列された補助糸が、 表面に S方向及び Z方向 の少なく とも一方向の螺旋形状に低融点ナイロンポリマーが付着したガ ラス繊維糸条から成り、 該よこ糸上に沿って配列された補助糸と前記た て糸との交差部が該低融点ナイロンポリマーで接着されていることが好 ましい。
前記よこ糸の長手方向に低融点ナイ口ンポリマーが点状又は線状に付 着し、 前記たて糸と前記よこ糸との交差部が、 該低融点ナイロンポリマ —により接着されていることが好ましい。
本発明のプリプレダは、 本発明の炭素繊維製補強用織物に、 樹脂が 3 0乃至 5 0重量%の範囲で含浸され、 カバ一ファクターが 9 0 %以上で あることを特徴とする。
本発明のプリプレダの製造方法は、 本発明の炭素繊維製補強用織物 に、 溶剤で希釈した樹脂を含浸させた後に、 該溶剤を乾燥させてプリプ レグを製造することを特徴とする。
前記溶剤を乾燥させた後、 更に、 カレンダ一ローラ掛けを行うことが 好ましい。 図面の簡単な説明

本発明をより詳細に説明するために、 本発明の具体的態様を用いて、 図面を参照しながら説明する。
第 1図に、 本発明に係る炭素繊維製補強用織物 1 0の平面図が示され る。 炭素繊維製補強用織物 1 0は、 炭素繊維から成る糸たて糸 1 と炭素 繊維から成るよこ糸 2とから形成された炭素繊維織物と、 たて糸 1 に沿 つて配列されたたて方向補助糸 3 と、 よこ糸 2に沿って配列されたよこ 方向補助糸 4とから成る。 たて糸 1とよこ糸 2とは、 平織組織で交錯している。 それぞれのたて 糸 1に並行して、 たて方向補助糸 3が配列されている。 また、 それぞれ のよこ糸 2に並行して、 よこ方向補助糸 4が配列されている。
たて方向補助糸 3は、 それと直交するよこ糸 2と、 2 : 2の関係で浮 き沈みしている。 また、 よこ方向補助糸 4は、 それと直交するたて糸 1 と、 2 : 2の関係で浮き沈みしている。
すなわち、 よこ糸 2に対するたて糸 1の浮き沈みの関係とよこ糸 2に 対するたて方向補助糸 3の浮き沈み関係とが異なり、 また、 たて糸 1に 対するよこ糸 2の浮き沈み関係とたて糸 1に対するよこ方向補助糸 4の 浮き沈み関係とが異なっている。
このような糸の配列は、 たて方向補助糸 3が隣り合うたて糸 1の間に 必ず位置することをもたらし、 また、 よこ方向補助糸 4が隣り合うよこ 糸 2の間に必ず位置することをもたらす。 その結果、 たて糸 1 とよこ糸 2との交錯によって生じる交錯部の近傍の空隙部 6の中央に、 たて方向 補助糸 3とよこ方向補助糸 4とが位置し、 空隙部 6を塞ぐ状態が形成さ れる。
したがって、 この炭素繊維製補強用織物 1 0は、 これに溶剤で希釈さ れた低粘度の樹脂を付けその後溶剤を乾燥させる際に、 榭脂に表面張力 が作用しても、 空隙部 6の位置に、 たて方向補助糸 3とよこ方向補助糸 4とが交差した状態で存在するので、 樹脂は補助糸 3 、 4の周りに残存 し、 その樹脂が橋掛けの役目を果たす。 その結果、 空隙部 6の位置にお ける樹脂の欠落は防止される。 すなわち、 空隙部 6の位置において、 樹 脂が欠落して生じる穴の発生が防止される。
たて糸 1及びよこ糸 2に用いられる炭素繊維糸条は、 特に限定される ものでない。 しかし、 ポリアクリル二トリル系炭素繊維糸条あるいはピ ツチ系炭素繊維糸条が好ましい。 高強度が発揮されるポリァクリル二ト リル系炭素繊維糸条がより好ましい。
この炭素繊維糸条の繊度は、 特に限定されない。 しかし、 炭素繊維糸 条は、 3, 0 0 0デニール以上の太い糸であって、 糸条横断面が扁平状 であることが好ましい。 なぜならば、 扁平状の太い炭素繊維糸条から成 るたて糸 1 とよこ糸 2とが、 その扁平状が実質的に維持された状態で交 錯することにより、 たて糸 1 とよこ糸 2の交錯により生じるたて糸 1 と よこ糸 2のクリ ンプを小さくすることが出来、 炭素繊維の有する高強 度、 高弾性率を余すこと無く発現させることが出来るからである。
逆に、 繊度が 3, 0 0 0デニール未満の細い炭素繊維糸条からなる織 物は、 たて糸及びよこ糸の配列密度が大きいので、 炭素繊維糸条間に出 来る空隙部の 1個当たりの面積が小さい。 したがって、 樹脂を付けて も、 空隙部において樹脂が欠落することはない。 しかし、 この様な細い 炭素繊維糸条は、 その生産性が低く、 また、 織糸の配列密度が大きいの で、 織物の生産性も低い。 従って、 このような炭素繊維織物は、 非常に 高価な材料となり、 材料の低コスト化指向が叫ばれている最近の情勢に 合致しないものである。
よって、 炭素繊維糸条の繊度が太いほど、 炭素繊維糸条及びそれから 成る織物の生産性が高く、 安価な材料になり得るので、 好ましい。 しか し、 余りに太い炭素繊維糸条を用い、 低目付で高いカバーファクターの 織物を得ようとすると、 糸条の幅を極端に拡幅させる必要があるが、 実 際問題として、 糸条の幅を大きく、 かつ、 均一に拡幅させることは、 製 造上難しい。 従って、 炭素繊維糸条の繊度は、 9 0 , 0 0 0デニール以 下であることが好ましい。
結局、 炭素繊維糸条の好ましい繊度は、 3, 0 0 0乃至 9 0, 0 0 0デ ニールの範囲であり、 より好ましくは、 7、 0 0 0乃至 1 5, 0 0 0デ ニールの範囲である。 また、 炭素繊維糸条の扁平度としては、 糸幅 Z糸 厚み比で 5以上が好ましい。 扁平度が 5未満では、 既に糸幅が集束され た状態であるので、 本発明によりもたらされる効果は、 低減する。
たて方向補助糸 3あるいはよこ方向補助糸 4は、 低熱収縮性繊維糸条 であることが好ましい。 その理由は、 本発明の炭素繊維製補強用織物 1 0に、 溶剤で希釈した樹脂を含浸させ、 溶剤を乾燥させてプリプレダを 製造するゥエツ ト · プリプレダ加工工程における乾燥工程で熱が加わつ た際に、 補助糸 3あるいは補助糸 4が熱収縮を起こすと、 炭素繊維糸条 から成るたて糸 1あるいはよこ糸 2は、 熱収縮しないので、 たて糸 1あ るいはよこ糸 2が屈曲する問題が起こるからである。
低熱収縮性繊維としては、 ァラミ ド繊維、 ガラス繊維などであって、 特に、 糸値が安価で、 熱収縮率が小さいガラス繊維が最も好ましい。 補助糸 3あるいは補助糸 4の糸形態としては、 通常のフィラメント糸 でも良いが、 加圧空気噴流ノズルによる嵩高加工などの処理をした捲縮 加工糸や紡績糸のような嵩高の形態を有する糸が好ましい。 嵩高な糸で あると、 空隙部 6を覆う面積が増大し、 また、 樹脂含浸時に樹脂を多く 含み易く、 空隙部 6に樹脂が残存し易いからである。
補助糸 3あるいは補助糸 4は、 織物の目付ァップを極力抑える意味か ら、 繊度で 5 0 0デニール以下の細い糸であることが好ましく、 2 5 0 デニール以下のより細い糸が更に好ましい。 補助糸 3あるいは補助糸 4 が、 5 0 0デニールを越えるような太い糸であると、 空隙部 6を覆う面 積は増大するが、 これは織物目付の増大に繋がるし、 また、 織物表面に おいて、 補助糸 3あるいは補助糸 4の部分が盛り上がる問題が生じる。 本発明の炭素繊維製補強用織物における炭素繊維織物は、 たて糸 1 と よこ糸 2のそれぞれの浮き沈みの数が織物の表裏で同じである織物であ ることが好ましい。 その理由は、 織物の表裏で浮き沈みの数が異なる織 物に樹脂を含浸させてプリプレダを成形する場合、 織物の厚みの中心面 からみて炭素繊維の配向が非対称であるから、 榭脂の硬化、 収縮により 表裏で収縮応力の作用する方向が異なり、 成形された C F R P (プリプ レグ) に反りが生じる問題があるからである。
この場合、 これら C F R Pが偶数枚積層される場合には、 鏡面対称に することにより反りの問題を解消することは可能であるが、 いちいち表 裏を確認しながら積層する必要があり、 非常に面倒である。
織物の織り糸の表裏の浮き沈みが同じであれば、 これら C F R Pをど のように積層しても必ず鏡面対称になり、 積層作業が非常に容易にな り、 また、 積層構成の自由度も高くなる。
たて糸 1 とよこ糸 2の浮き沈みの数とは、 織物の片側面から見た際、 たて糸 1又はよこ糸 2が、 これと交差するよこ糸 2又はたて糸 1の上を 連続して浮いて通過するよこ糸 2又はたて糸 1の数と沈んで通過するよ こ糸 2又はたて糸 1の数を意味する。 例えば、 平織組織、 2ノ 2の綾織 組織、 バスケッ ト組織などが表裏で同じ浮き沈みの数となる織物であ る。
本発明の炭素繊維製補強用織物においては、 補助糸 3、 4は、 たて糸 1及び Z又はよこ糸 2に沿って配列され、 配列相手のたて糸 1あるいは よこ糸 2の浮き沈みとは異なる浮き沈みの関係で、 たて糸 1あるいはよ こ糸 2と交錯している。
ここで、 配列相手のたて糸 1あるいはよこ糸 2の浮き沈みとは異なる 浮き沈みの関係とは、 第 1図において、 例えば、 たて方向補助糸 3がよ こ糸 2に対して 2本連続で浮いている箇所について注目すると、 したか ら 1本目のよこ糸 2に対するたて方向補助糸 3の浮き方は、 たて方向補 助糸 3の右側のたて糸 1 と同じであるが、 二本目のよこ糸 2に対して は、 右側のたて糸 1 とは異なって、 左側のたて糸 1 と同じ浮き方になつ ており、 たて方向補助糸 3がよこ糸 2の下に沈んでいる箇所でも、 同様 の浮き沈みの関係になっている状態を意味する。 すなわち、 補助糸 3 、 4の浮き沈みが、 両隣のたて糸 1あるいはよこ糸 2の浮き沈みと異なつ ていることを言う。
逆に、 補助糸 3 、 4が、 配列相手のたて糸 1あるいはよこ糸 2の内の どちらかの糸と同じ浮き沈みの関係で交錯していると、 補助糸 3は同じ 浮き沈みのたて糸 1側に、 また、 補助糸 4は同じ浮き沈みのよこ糸 2側 に寄り添ってしまう現象が生じる。 ひどい場合には、 たて糸 1あるいは よこ糸 2を構成する炭素繊維糸条の内方に補助糸 3あるいは補助糸 4が 潜り込んでしまい、 空隙部 6の位置に的確に配置されない現象が生じ る。
そのような織物は、 たて糸 5 1 とよこ糸 5 2の交錯によって生じる空 隙部 5 6に繊維が存在しない第 5図に示される織物 5 0と類似のものと なる。 このような織物においては、 それに樹脂を付けて溶剤を乾燥させ る際に、 空隙部 6にも残存していた樹脂は、 表面張力によりたて糸 1あ るいはよこ糸 2の側に引き寄せられて、 空隙部 6の位置に穴が開き、 そ の後、 更に、 たて糸 1あるいはよこ糸 2の断面が丸く集束し、 細くなる 現象が生じる。
本発明の炭素繊維製補強用織物に用いられる炭素繊維織物は、 たて糸 1及びノ又はよこ糸 2が、 太い炭素繊維糸条から成ることが好ましい が、 更に、 その炭素繊維糸条の断面が扁平状の状態で、 たて糸 1 とよこ 糸 2とが交錯した低目付の薄い織物 (扁平糸織物) であることが好まし い。 この扁平糸織物では、 たて糸とよこ糸の交錯による空隙部の面積が 大きくなり易い傾向にあるが、 上記条件を満足する補助糸が配置される ので、 空隙部の問題は、 実質的に解消される。
補助糸 3 、 4の織り組織としては、 第 1 図に示す実施態様において は、 交差するたて糸 1あるいはよこ糸 2に対して、 2 : 2の浮き沈みと されている力 例えば、 1 : 2や、 1 : 3の浮き沈みであっても良い。 なお、 1 : 1の浮き沈み組織 (平織) は、 あまり好ましくない。
浮き沈みが 2 : 2であることは、 補助糸 3の左右のたて糸 1と同じ浮 き又は沈みになるのが交互、 すなわち、 補助糸 3が右側のたて糸 1 と同 じ浮きであると次は左側のたて糸 1 と同じ浮きになるので、 左右どちら かのたて糸 1側に寄ることがなく、 隣り合うたて糸 1の間に補助糸 3を 配列することが出来、 好ましい。
補助糸は、 たて方向とよこ方向の両方向に配列してよいが、 たて方 向、 又は、 よこ方向のどちらか一方向であっても構わない。 なお、 よこ 方向に配列する場合は、 製織工程において、 よこ糸として補助糸を余分 に挿入することになり、 織物の生産性が低下するので、 たて方向のみに 配列するのが好ましい。
たて糸 1 とよこ糸 2との交錯部近傍における空隙部 6が小さい織物に おいては、 補助糸 3 、 4として接着性ポリマーが付着した糸を用い、 補 助糸 3 、 4とたて糸 1 と、 よこ糸 2を形成している炭素繊維とを接着さ せて、 炭素繊維糸条の糸幅の集束を抑制できれば十分であり、 補助糸 3 、 4の配列を全部のたて糸 1あるいは全部のよこ糸 2に沿って配列さ せる必要はない。 例えば、 たて糸 1あるいはよこ糸 2の 1本又は数本お きに配列させても目的を達成することができる。
第 2図に、 本発明に係る炭素繊維製補強用織物 2 0の平面図が示され る。 第 2図において、 炭素繊維製補強用織物 2 0は、 炭素繊維から成る 糸たて糸 1 と炭素繊維から成るよこ糸 2とから形成された炭素繊維織物 と、 たて糸 1に沿って配列されたたて方向補助糸 3と、 よこ糸 2に沿つ て配列されたよこ方向補助糸 4とから成る。
たて糸 1 とよこ糸 2とが、 織物の表裏で同じ浮き沈みの数である 2 / 2の綾織組織で交錯している。 隣り合うたて糸 1の間に、 たて方向補助 糸 3が配列され、 たて方向補助糸 3と交差するよこ糸 2に対して、 3 : 1の関係で浮き沈みし、 この浮き沈みは、 配列相手のたて糸 1の浮き沈 みとは異なっている。
たて方向補助糸 3は、 必ず隣り合うたて糸 1の間に位置し、 たて糸 1 とよこ糸 2との交錯部近傍の空隙部 6を埋める形になっている。 この織 り組織、 すなわち、 たて方向補助糸 3をよこ糸 2に対して 3 : 1の関係 で浮き沈みさせることにより、 たて方向補助糸 3がよこ糸 2の長い浮き の中央部上に位置することが避けられる。 これにより、 織物表面の平滑 性の阻害が防止されている。
たて糸 1 とよこ糸 2との交錯部近傍の空隙部 6が補助糸 3で覆われて いることにより、 炭素繊維製補強用織物 2 0をウエッ ト · プリプレダ加 ェしても、 空隙部 6において樹脂が欠落して目開きが生じることが防止 される。
たて糸 1 とよこ糸 2は、 2 2の綾織組織をなしているので、 織物の 表裏でたて糸 1 とよこ糸 2とは同じ浮き沈みの関係にあり、 この織物を 用いて成形された C F R Pに反りが発生することはない。
炭素繊維製補強用織物 2 0においては、 たて糸 1 とよこ糸 2とが 2本 ずつ交互に交錯しているので、 これらが 1本ずつ交互に交錯した平織組 織を有する炭素繊維製補強用織物 1 0の場合よりも、 炭素繊維製補強用 織物 2 0におけるたて糸 1及びよこ糸 2のクリンプは一層小さい。 ま た、 炭素繊維製補強用織物 2 0は、 剪断変形し易い織物構造であるか ら、 賦形性に優れる。
なお、 炭素繊維製補強用織物 2 0は、 補助糸をたて糸方向にのみ配列 したものであるが、 補助糸は、 よこ方向にも配列しても構わない。
ところで、 第 1図あるいは第 2図に示した炭素繊維製補強用織物が、 太い炭素繊維糸条から成るたて糸 1及びよこ糸 2で形成され、 かつ、 炭 素繊維糸条の横断面が扁平の状態を有する場合には、 剪断変形に対する 自由度が大きく、 複雑な形状に賦形できる特徴を有している。 しかし、 補助糸 3 、 4の交錯のさせ方によっては、 その賦形性が阻害される場合 がある。 それを防止するには、 補助糸が、 浮きの長い状態で織り込まれ た織り組織を選択することが好ましい。 例えば、 浮き沈みの関係を 2 :
2 、 3 : 1、 あるいは 3 : 3とするのが好ましい。
また、 補助糸 3 、 4は、 低熱収縮性繊維であることが好ましく、 その 表面に低融点ポリマーが付着されているものが好ましい。 この補助糸
3 、 4を用い、 補助糸 3 、 4と直交するたて糸 1 あるいはよこ糸 2 との 交差部で、 これらを低融点ポリマーにより接着させておく ことにより、 ウエッ ト · プリプレダ加工工程におけるたて糸 1 あるいはよこ糸 2の糸 幅の集束を防ぐことができる。
補助糸 3 、 4の表面に付着させておく低融点ポリマーとしては、 融点 が 9 0乃至 2 0 0 の共重合ナイロン、 共重合ポリエステル、 ポリ塩化 ビニリデン、 ポリエチレン、 ポリプロピレン等がある。 特に、 共重ナイ ロンは、 プリプレダ成形用の樹脂との接着性に優れているので、 好まし い。
また、 この接着剤として作用する低融点ポリマーは、 アルコールに難 溶解性のポリマーから選ばれたポリマーであることが好ましい。 その理 由は、 ウエッ ト , プリプレダ加工において、 樹脂の希釈剤としてメタノ ールが、 価格が安く、 沸点が低くて乾燥が容易であることから多用され ているが、 この場合、 特に、 ナイロン系のポリマーはアルコールに溶解 され易く、 簡単に溶解されるようでは、 接着剤としての作用が発揮され ないからである。
ここで、 アルコールに難溶解性のポリマーとは、 室温 ( 2 5 °C程度) において、 ポリマーが付着した織物をメタノールに 1 0分間浸積した後 においても、 ポリマーが塊として残存し、 接着機能が消滅されない程度 のものを云う。
低融点ポリマーが低熱収縮性繊維糸条の表面に付着した補助糸として は、 例えば、 低熱収縮性繊維糸条の表面に溶融された低融点ポリマーを コーテングして製造されるコーテング糸、 あるいは、 低熱収縮性繊維糸 条の表面を低融点ポリマーからなる繊維でカバーリ ングして製造される カバ一リング糸がある。
カバーリング糸は、 例えば、 低熱収縮性繊維糸条であるガラス繊維糸 条を芯にして、 その上から低融点ポリマ一からなる繊維を S又は Z方向 に 2 0 0乃至 1 0 0 0回 Z mの撚数で巻き付けることにより、 製造され る。 なお、 S方向に巻き付けた上から、 更に、 Z方向にも巻き付けたダ ブルカバーリ ングであっても良い。 この構造は、 低融点ポリマーからな る繊維の S撚りと Z撚りによる トルクが互いに打ち消し合う関係をもた らすので、 補助糸にピリ (ねじれ) が生じることが無く、 より好まし い。
カバーリング糸を用いる場合、 低熱収縮性繊維糸条の表面に低融点ポ リマーが螺旋状に存在するので、 補助糸と炭素繊維糸条との交差部での これらの接触面において、 低融点ポリマーが存在しない箇所が出来る可 能性がある。 この問題を防ぐには、 低融点ポリマーからなる繊維の撚数 を出来るだけ大きく してことが好ましい。 ただし、 撚数を余り大きくす ると、 カバーリングの生産性が低下し、 加工費が高騰する問題がある。 よって、 好ましい撚数は、 2 0 0乃至 8 0 0回 の範囲である。
低融点ポリマーが表面に付着している補助糸が用いられた炭素繊維製 補強用織物を、 低融点ポリマーの軟化点以上に加熱することによって、 補助糸と炭素繊維糸条との間の接着が形成される。
補助糸に付着している低融点ポリマーは、 炭素繊維製補強用織物の重 量に対して、 0. 5乃至 1 0重量%の範囲であることが好ましい。 付着 量が 0. 5重量%より少ないと、 補助糸と炭素繊維糸条との接着が不十 分となり、 低融点ポリマーを用いる効果が発揮されない。 付着量が 1 0 重量%を越えると、 炭素繊維製補強用織物の重量が増大する。 また、 低 融点ポリマーが炭素繊維糸条の中に入り込むために、 プリプレダ成形用 の榭脂の織物への含浸性が阻害され、 得られる C F R Pの物性の低下に 繋がる問題がある。 このようなことから、 更に好ましい付着量は、 1乃 至 5重量%の範囲である。
また、 炭素繊維製補強用織物の目付は、 1 0 0乃至 6 00 gZm2の 範囲が好ましく、 より好ましくは、 1 9 0乃至 40 0 g Zm2の範囲で ある。 この目付範囲は、 特に、 航空機用途に適した範囲でもある。
この範囲が好ましい理由は、 例えば、 繊度が 3, 000デニール以上 の太い炭素繊維糸条が用いられている場合、 織物目付が 1 0 0 g/m2 未満になると、 炭素繊維糸条の間隔が極端に大きくなる。 そのような場 合には、 炭素繊維糸条の間隔を均一に拡げることが難しく、 結局、 目開 きが存在した織物になり易い。 この場合に、 例え均一な織物が得られて も、 織物形態が不安定であるため、 取扱い中に繊維がずれて目開きする と云う問題がある。
逆に、 織物目付が 6 0 0 gZm2を超える織物では、 炭素繊維が高密 度に充填されているので、 たて糸とよこ糸の交錯部近傍の空隙部の面積 が小さいばかりか、 たて糸とよこ糸とが強固に拘束されているので、 ゥ エツ 卜 · プリプレダ加工での糸幅集束が少なく、 本発明における補助糸 の存在効果が発揮されない。
炭素繊維製補強用織物のカバーファクタ一は、 9 0 %以上であること が好ましく、 より好ましくは、 9 5 %以上である。
炭素繊維製補強用織物が、 太い炭素繊維糸条で形成され、 しかも、 低 目付の薄い織物である場合には、 炭素繊維糸条から成るたて糸とよこ糸 の交錯部近傍の空隙部の個数は非常に少なく、 また、 空隙部に補助糸が 配置されているので、 高いカバ一ファクタ一が期待できるが、 炭素繊維 糸条の間隔が大きいので、 炭素繊維糸条の糸幅の変動により、 空隙部 1 個当たりの面積が大きくなり易い。 たて糸とよこ糸の交錯部近傍の空隙 部の面積が余りにも大きいと、 空隙部に補助糸が配置されていても空隙 を覆いきれず、 ウエッ ト · プリプレダ加工での目開きを防ぐことが困難 になる場合がある。 よって、 炭素繊維製補強用織物のカバーファクター は、 9 0 %以上であることが好ましい。
ここで、 カバーファクタ一 (C f ) (単位: %) は、 織物の織糸間に 形成される空隙部に関する要素で、 織物において設定した領域の面積を S 1 とし、 この面積 (S 1 ) 内において織糸によって形成される空隙部 の面積を S 2とすると、 次式で定義される値を云う。

第 3図に、 本発明に係る炭素繊維製補強用織物 3 0の平面図が示され る。 第 3図において、 炭素繊維製補強用織物 3 0は、 炭素繊維から成る 糸たて糸 1 と炭素繊維から成るよこ糸 2とから形成された炭素繊維織物 と、 たて糸 1に沿って配列されたたて方向補助糸 3と、 よこ糸 2の長手 方向に、 当該よこ糸 2に点状あるいは線状に付着された低融点ポリマー 5とから成る。 なお、 第 3図では、 線状の場合が示されている。
たて糸 1 とよこ糸 2とは、 平織組織をなして交錯している。 隣り合う たて糸 1の間にのみ、 たて方向補助糸 3が配列されている。 たて方向補 助糸 3は、 第 1図に示したたて方向補助糸 3と同様に、 よこ糸 2に対し て、 2 : 2の関係で浮き沈みしている。
更に、 よこ糸 2の上に、 低融点ポリマー 5が、 点状又は線状に付着さ れ、 よこ糸 2の上で交差するたて糸 1 とよこ糸 2とは、 それらの交差部 で、 互いに接着されている。 これにより、 たて糸 1の糸幅の集束が抑制 されている。
よこ糸 2上に低融点ポリマー 5を点状又は線状に付着させる方法とし ては、 織物の製織工程において、 挿入されるよこ糸 2の上に位置するよ うに、 低融点ポリマー 5からなる繊維糸条を、 挿入されるよこ糸 2に引 き揃えて供給し、 織機上において、 例えば、 遠赤外線ヒー夕により低融 点ポリマー 5の融点以上の温度に、 低融点ポリマー 5を加熱することに より行う方法がある。 これにより、 低融点ポリマ一 5をよこ糸 2に付着 させることが出来、 また、 たて糸 1 とよこ糸 2との交差部を、 低融点ポ リマー 5で接着させることができる。
この炭素繊維製補強用織物 3 0は、 たて糸 1がよこ糸 2との交差部で よこ糸 2と接着されているので、 この炭素繊維製補強用織物 3 0を用い てウエッ ト · プリプレダ加工を行っても、 たて糸 1の糸幅が集束し、 細 くなる現象は現れない。
第 4図に、 本発明に係る炭素繊維製補強用織物 4 0の平面図が示され る。 第 4図において、 炭素繊維製補強用織物 4 0は、 炭素繊維から成る たて糸 1 と炭素繊維から成るよこ糸 2とから形成された炭素繊維織物 と、 たて糸 1に沿って配列されたたて方向補助糸 3と、 よこ糸 2に沿つ て配列されたよこ方向補助糸 4とから成る。
たて糸 1 とよこ糸 2とは、 平織組織をなして交錯している。 隣り合う たて糸 1の間に、 たて方向補助糸 3が配列され、 隣り合うよこ糸 2の間 に、 よこ方向補助糸 4が配列されている。
たて方向補助糸 3及びよこ方向補助糸 4は、 それぞれ低熱収縮性繊維 からなり、 それぞれの表面には、 低融点ポリマーが付着されている。 たて方向補助糸 3は、 交差するよこ糸 2に対して、 8 : 1の関係で浮き 沈みし、 よこ方向補助糸 4は、 交差するたて糸 1に対して、 よこ糸 2と 同じ浮き沈みを有している。
通常、 たて方向補助糸 3がよこ糸 2と交錯することにより、 交錯部近 傍の空隙部 6が拡大され易い。 しかし、 この態様では、 たて方向補助糸 3の浮きを長くして、 交錯点の数を減少させ、 かつ、 交錯部をランダム に位置させることより、 よこ糸 2の全体の配置間隔が狭まり、 空隙部 6 が大きくなることが抑制されている。
よこ方向補助糸 4についても、 交差するたて糸 1に対して、 浮きを長 くすることは好ましいが、 この場合、 織物の製織工程において、 よこ方 向補助糸 4とよこ糸 2とを別々に挿入させる必要が生じる。 そのため、 この手法は、 織物の生産性が半分になる問題を有する。 したがって、 よ こ方向補助糸 4は、 生産性の面から、 単に、 よこ糸 2に引き揃えて製織 する方がが好ましい。
たて方向補助糸 3は、 隣り合うたて糸 1の間に配列されることが好ま しい。 しかし、 隣接するたて糸 1のどちらか側にたて方向補助糸 3が移 動し、 たて糸 1上にたて方向補助糸 3が位置することが生じても、 たて 方向補助糸 3とたて糸 1 とのよこ糸 2に対する浮き沈み関係が異なるた めに、 たて方向補助糸 3は、 必ず、 直行するよこ糸 2の上に位置する箇 所が存在する。 従って、 たて糸 1内に連続して潜り込むことがなく、 か つ、 低融点ポリマ一が付着されたたて方向補助糸 3が用いられているこ とにより、 たて方向補助糸 3 とこれに直行するよこ糸 2とが確実に接着 される。 従って、 この炭素繊維製補強用織物 4 0がゥエツ ト · プリプレ グ加工に用いられても、 たて糸 1及びよこ糸 2の糸幅が集束し、 細くな る現象は生じない。
本発明に係るプリプレダは、 本発明に係る炭素繊維製補強用織物に、 樹脂が 3 0乃至 5 0重量%の範囲で含浸され、 カバーファクタ一が 9 0 %以上であることを特徴とする。 この樹脂 (マトリ ックス樹脂) は、 例えば、 エポキシ樹脂、 フエノー ル樹脂、 不飽和エステル樹脂、 ビニルエステルである。
第 6図に、 本発明に係るプリプレダの製造方法を実施するための製造 装置の一例の概略側面図が示される。 この製造装置自体は、 ウエッ ト - プリプレダの製造に通常用いられているものである。
第 6図において、 ロール状に巻き上げられ、 引き出し可能に支持され た本発明に係る炭素繊維製補強用織物 6 0は、 引き出され、 溶剤で希釈 されている樹脂が収容されているバス 6 1 の樹脂中を通過する。 次い で、 樹脂が浸された炭素繊維製補強用織物 6 0からなるシート 6 2は、 ヒー夕 6 3に囲まれた乾燥炉を通過する。 この間に、 溶剤が除去され、 シート 6 2は、 乾燥したプリプレダ 6 4となる。 得られたプリプレダ 6 4は、 ロール状に巻き取られる。
乾燥条件は、 加工されたプリプレダ 6 4内に溶剤が 2乃至 8重量%残 存する程度になるように設定されるのが好ましい。 この条件は、 乾燥温 度と乾燥炉を通過するシート 6 2の速度を選定することにより調整され る。
得られたプリプレダ 6 4を、 8 0乃至 1 5 0 t:に加熱されたホッ トニ ップローラで力レンダ一加工する工程を付加したプリプレダの製造方法 は、 たて糸 1及びよこ糸 2を構成する炭素繊維糸条の糸幅を拡幅する作 用、 効果を有する。 これにより、 炭素繊維糸条の交錯部近傍の空隙部 6 が殆どない状態にすることができる。
実施例及び比較例
以下に、 本発明の実施例と比較例を説明する。
実施例
この実施例における本発明に係る炭素繊維製補強用織物は、 第 3図に 示した炭素繊維製補強用織物 3 0である。 たて糸 1及びよこ糸 2は、 それぞれ、 フィ ラメント数が 1 2 , 0 0 0 本、 繊度が 7 , 2 0 0デニールの炭素繊維糸条 (東レ (株) 製 : "トレ 力" T 7 0 0 ) である。
たて糸 1及びよこ糸 2から成る炭素繊維織物におけるたて糸 1及びよ こ糸 2のそれぞれの配列密度は、 1. 2 0本 Zc m、 この炭素繊維織物 の目付は、 1 9 3 g/m2で、 織り組織は、 平織である。
たて方向補助糸 3は、 繊度が 2 0 3デニールのガラス繊維糸条であ る。 このガラス繊維糸条には、 融点が 1 4 5 °C、 繊度が 7 0デニールの 低融点ナイ ロン繊維糸条 (富士紡績 (株) 製 : "ジョイナ一") が、 S ZZ方向に、 2 5 0回/ mの撚り数でダブルカバ一リ ングされている。 たて方向補助糸 3は、 隣り合うたて糸 1の間に配列されている。 たて 方向補助糸 3 とこれと交差するよこ糸 2 とは、 2 / 2の綾織組織を形成 している。
よこ糸 2上の低融点ポリマー 5は、 融点が 1 4 5 °C、 繊度が 7 0デニ —ルの低融点ナイ口ン繊維糸条からなる。 この低融点ナイ口ン繊維糸条 をよこ糸 2に引き揃えられて製織されている。
この織物を、 遠赤外線ヒー夕で、 前記双方の低融点ナイロン繊維の融 点以上の温度である 1 6 0 で加熱して、 双方の低融点ナイ口ン繊維を 溶融させ、 たて方向補助糸 3 とよこ糸 2、 並びに、 たて糸 1 とよこ糸 2 を接着させて、 炭素繊維製補強用織物 3 0を製造した。 炭素繊維製補強 用織物 3 0のカバーファクタ一は 9 9. 5 %であった。
次いで、 炭素繊維製補強用織物 3 0から、 たて 2 0 0 mmxよこ 1 5 0 mmサイズの試験片を採取した。 この試験片をフエノール樹脂 (昭和 高分子 (株) 製 : "ショウノール" B R S 3 3 0 ) を比重で 0. 9 6 と なるようメタノールで希釈させた溶液に浸した後に吊り下げ、 ヒートガ ンにより、 ヒートガンと試験片との距離を 2 0 0 mmに保ちながら、 メ 夕ノールを乾燥させて、 プリプレダを得た。 ヒートガンからの吹き出し 熱風温度は、 ヒ一トガンの先端から 2 0 0 m mの距離における温度が 1 6 2 °Cとなるような温度とした。
得られたプリプレダのカバーファクタ一は 9 6 . 0 %で、 元の炭素繊 維製補強用織物 3 0のそれより若干小さくなつた。 この値は、 プリプレ グとして実用上問題のないレベルである。
比較例
比較例として、 上記実施例の織物における補助糸 3並びに低融点ポリ マー 5が用いられていない他は上記実施例と同じ条件の織物を用意し た。 すなわち、 この織物は、 炭素繊維から成るたて糸 1 と炭素繊維から 成るよこ糸 2 とのみから形成された炭素繊維織物である。 この織物の力 バーファクタ一は 9 9 . 1 %であった。 この織物から、 上記実施例と同 じ方法で、 プリプレダを作成した。
プリプレダの作成過程において、 メタノールを乾燥させる際、 織物内 のメタノールが沸縢して炭素繊維が頻繁に動きながらその糸幅が序々に 収束することが観察された。 得られたプリプレダのカバ一ファクタ一は 8 1 . 7 %であり、 炭素繊維糸条の交差部近傍の空隙部が大きな、 すな わち、 目開きが大きいプリプレダであった。 このプリプレダは、 実用性 がないものであった。 産業上の利用の可能性
本発明の炭素繊維製補強織物は、 炭素繊維から成るたて糸と炭素繊維 から成るよこ糸とから形成された炭素繊維織物と、 該たて糸及び該ょこ 糸の少なく とも一方に沿って配列された補助糸とからなる炭素繊維製補 強用織物において、 該補助糸が、 配列相手のたて糸あるいはよこ糸の浮 き沈みとは異なる浮き沈み関係を持って配列されていることを特徴とし ている。 これにより、 織物のたて糸とよこ糸との交差部近傍における空 隙部が補助糸で覆われた構造の織物が提供される。
この織物にマトリ ックス樹脂をゥエツ ト · プリプレダ加工法により付 与し次いで乾燥してプリプレダを製造する場合、 織物のたて糸とよこ糸 との交差部近傍における空隙部に補助糸が存在するため、 マトリ ックス 榭脂が補助糸の周りに残存する。 これにより、 目開きが実質的にないプ リプレダが提供される。
補助糸として低熱収縮性繊維糸条の表面に低融点ポリマーが付着され た糸が用いられている場合は、 低融点ポリマーにより、 この補助糸と炭 素繊維とが接着される。 これにより、 炭素繊維糸条の糸幅の変化が実質 的にない、 高いカバーフアクターを有するプリプレダが提供される。 本発明の炭素繊維製補強織物は、 上記構成から成るため、 炭素繊維糸 条として、 横断面が扁平状の太い炭素繊維糸条を使用することが可能で ある。 そのため、 炭素繊維糸条並びにそれから成る織物の生産性を高 め、 かつ、 織り糸のクリンプが小さい織物の製造が可能となる。 これに より、 安価で、 かつ、 炭素繊維本来の特性である高強度、 高弾性率が余 すことなく発揮された高品質の C F R Pが提供される。

Claims

請 求 の 範 囲
1 . 炭素繊維から成るたて糸と炭素繊維から成るよこ糸とから形成され た炭素繊維織物と、 該たて糸及び該よこ糸の少なく とも一方に沿って配 列された補助糸とからなる炭素繊維製補強用織物において、 該補助糸 が、 配列相手のたて糸あるいはよこ糸の浮き沈みとは異なる浮き沈み関 係を持って配列されていることを特徴とする炭素繊維製補強用織物。
2 . 前記補助糸が、 隣り合う前記たて糸の間あるいは隣り合う前記よこ 糸の間に配列されていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第 1項に記載の炭 素繊維製補強用織物。
3 . 前記補助糸は、 低熱収縮性繊維糸条の表面に低融点ポリマーが付着 した糸からなり、 かつ、 前記補助糸と前記たて糸あるいは前記よこ糸と の交差部が、 該低融点ポリマーにより接着されていることを特徴とする 請求の範囲第 1又は 2項に記載の炭素繊維製補強用織物。
4 . 前記低熱収縮繊維糸条は、 繊度が 5 0 0デニール以下のガラス繊維 糸条であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第 3項に記載の炭素繊維製補強 用織物。
5 . 前記低融点ポリマーの付着量は、 前記補強用織物に対して 0 . 5乃 至 1 0重量%の範囲にあることを特徵とする請求の範囲第 3又は 4項に 記載の炭素繊維製補強用織物。
6 . 前記低融点ポリマーが、 前記低熱収縮性繊維糸条の表面に、 S方向 及び Z方向の少なくとも一方向の螺旋形状をもって付着していることを 特徴とする請求の範囲第 3乃至 5項のいずれかに記載の炭素繊維製補強 用織物。
7. 前記低融点ポリマーは、 アルコールに難溶解性のポリマーであるこ とを特徴とする請求の範囲第 3乃至 6項のいずれかに記載の炭素繊維製 補強用織物。
8. 前記たて糸及び前記よこ糸のそれぞれの繊度が、 3 , 0 0 0乃至 9 0, 0 0 0デニールの範囲にあり、 前記炭素繊維織物の目付が、 1 0 0 乃至 6 0 0 g/m2の範囲にあり、 かつ、 前記補強用織物のカバーファ クタ一が、 9 0 %以上であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第 1乃至 7項 のいずれかに記載の炭素繊維製補強用織物。
9. 前記たて糸及び前記よこ糸の少なくとも一方において、 その長手方 向に、 低融点ポリマーが点状又は線状に付着し、 前記たて糸と前記よこ 糸との交差部が、 該低融点ポリマーにより接着されていることを特徴と する請求の範囲第 1乃至 8項のいずれかに記載の炭素繊維製補強用物。
1 0. 前記たて糸と前記よこ糸とが、 平織組織を形成していることを特 徴とする請求の範囲第 1乃至 9項のいずれかに記載の炭素繊維製補強用 織物。
1 1. 前記たて糸と前記よこ糸とが、 2 2の綾織組織を形成している ことを特徴とする請求の範囲第 1乃至 9項のいずれかに記載の炭素繊維 製補強用織物。
1 2 . 前記たて糸と前記よこ糸とが平織組織を形成し、 前記補助糸が隣 り合う前記たて糸の間に配列され、 該補助糸はガラス繊維糸条から成 り、 該ガラス繊維糸条の表面に S方向及び Z方向の少なく とも一方向の 螺旋形状をもって低融点ポリアミ ドが付着され、 前記補助糸は、 前記よ こ糸に対して少なく とも 2本の連続浮きを有していることを特徴とする 請求の範囲第 1項に記載の炭素繊維製補強用織物。
1 3 . 前記補助糸が、 前記よこ糸と 2 : 2の浮き沈み関係を有すること を特徴とする請求の範囲第 1 2項に記載の炭素繊維製補強用織物。
1 4 . 前記よこ糸上に沿って配列された補助糸が、 表面に S方向及び Z 方向の少なく とも一方向の螺旋形状に低融点ナイロンポリマーが付着し たガラス繊維糸条から成り、 該よこ糸上に沿って配列された補助糸と前 記たて糸との交差部が該低融点ナイロンポリマーで接着されていること を特徴とする請求の範囲第 1 2又は 1 3項に記載の炭素繊維製補強用織 物。
1 5 . 前記よこ糸の長手方向に低融点ナイロンポリマーが点状又は線状 に付着し、 前記たて糸と前記よこ糸との交差部が、 該低融点ナイロンポ リマーにより接着されていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第 1 2又は 1 3項に記載の炭素繊維製補強用織物。
1 6 . 請求の範囲第 1乃至 1 5項のいずれかに記載の炭素繊維製補強用 織物に、 樹脂が 3 0乃至 5 0重量%の範囲で含浸され、 カバーファクタ 一が 9 0 %以上であることを特徴とするプリプレダ。
1 7 . 請求の範囲第 1乃至 1 5項のいずれかに記載の炭素繊維製補強用 織物に、 溶剤で希釈した樹脂を含浸させた後に、 該溶剤を乾燥させてプ リプレダを製造することを特徴とするプリプレダの製造方法。
1 8 . 前記溶剤を乾燥させた後、 更に、 カレンダーローラ掛けを行うこ とを特徴とする請求の範囲第 1 7項に記載のプリプレダの製造方法。
