Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an authoring device and an authoring method for assigning index information to a moving image.
  • JP-A-11-288424 As this method, for example, there is a method disclosed in JP-A-11-288424.
  • This gazette specifically describes a method of preparing keyword information, such as Koga, which corresponds to a specific time section of video, in a file separate from the video file, and using that file for search, etc. .
  • the format of the index information file is generally described in a widely spread XML format, and today, the MPEG7 standard for describing video content has been proposed.
  • index information it is effective to perform a search using a keyword by mapping a key corresponding to the video content to a time interval of the video, but in the MPEG7 standard, It has also been proposed to add a corresponding level that indicates to what degree the keyword corresponds to the video.
  • keywords and corresponding levels are treated as point, point of view, and importance (score). How to use this level is described below. For example, suppose there is a 30-minute sports video. If the keyword “important” is assigned to an important part (video section) of this video in advance, the time section to which “important” is assigned when creating a digest of this sport video By connecting only these, it is possible to easily create a digest video.
  • the digest video time is the total time of the “important” time. Therefore, the above-described digest video generation method cannot meet the demands of, for example, setting the digest video time to 3 minutes or 1 minute.
  • the relevant level is assigned to the keyword "important"
  • the corresponding level is added to the video using 10 levels from 1.0 to 0.1 in increments of 0.1 according to the degree of importance.
  • the sections with the corresponding level 1.0 are first added up. If the total time is less than 1 minute, the section of the corresponding level 0.9 is further added. In this way, by adding time sections in descending order of the corresponding level, it becomes possible to create a digest video so as to be closest to the desired one minute.
  • the present invention displays a matrix plane where a time axis intersects an axis of a corresponding level with respect to a predetermined keypad, and displays an identifier indicating a scene obtained by dividing a moving image file into predetermined sections on the matrix plane. Then, when the user moves the position of the identifier arranged on the matrix plane as desired, the corresponding level corresponding to the position of the identifier arranged on the matrix plane is determined as the corresponding level of the scene corresponding to the identifier. It was made.
  • a keyword and a corresponding level can be input to the scene on the matrix plane, so that the operability of providing a key to the scene and assigning the corresponding level is improved, and the assignment status of the keyword and the corresponding level is visually checked. Can be confirmed.

Description

このとき、 GU I処理部 110は、 変更された該当レベル 305 a〜305 d別にシーンの合計時間 306 a〜306 dを再計算して表示する (ST 60 6 ) o
