Abstract

La présente invention concerne un rotor pourvu d'un axe vertical destiné à exploiter l'énergie issue de milieux circulants, telle que l'énergie du vent mais aussi de cours d'eau et de courants marins, rotor dont les pales sont conçues de façon à pouvoir se déplacer pour prendre une position à orientation automatique en fonction de l'angle de rotation du rotor par rapport à la direction du courant, la position angulaire des pales par rapport au courant étant directement déterminée par les forces apparaissant dans le courant sous l'effet de la rotation. L'invention est conçue, sur le plan mécanique, de la façon suivante : des bielles guidées sont reliées, de manière à pouvoir tourner librement à une certaine distance de l'axe de rotation, à chaque pale et à un corps d'orientation pouvant se déplacer librement au centre du rotor. Les forces agissant sur chaque pale sont transmises par l'intermédiaire desdites bielles à des paliers rotatifs, agencés de façon à pouvoir se déplacer sur le corps d'orientation le long d'une trajectoire circulaire.
