Abstract

Cette invention concerne un système et un procédé de réception de signaux radiofréquences. Ce système comprend une pluralité d'unités de réception frontales, une unité de traitement et un système à bus couplant les unités de réception frontales à l'unité de traitement. Ces unités de réception frontales sont couplées à des antennes recevant des signaux radiofréquences et sont conçues pour démoduler et numériser les signaux radiofréquences reçus en signaux démodulés numérisés. En outre, les unités de réception frontales sont conçues pour transmettre les signaux démodulés numérisés à l'unité de traitement. L'unité de traitement est conçue pour générer un signal de sortie soit en fonction d'une combinaison des signaux démodulés numérisés, soit en fonction d'un signal démodulé numérisé sélectionné. On sélectionne de préférence le signal démodulé numérisé comportant le meilleur signal de qualité. Pour ce faire, les unités de réception frontales sont conçues pour générer le signal de qualité en fonction du signal radiofréquence reçu et l'unité de traitement est conçue pour sélectionner l'unité de réception frontale, attribuant au signal de qualité représentant le signal radiofréquence la meilleure qualité, de telle sorte que le signal intermédiaire numérisé soit transmis.
