Abstract

L'invention concerne une machine électrique tournante comportant un stator entourant un rotor comportant des aimants permanents d'excitation (20, 24, 26, 30) aptes à établir des flux magnétiques, et des bobinages d'excitation (22, 28), pouvant ou non être excités et engendrer des composantes de flux pouvant s'opposer aux flux engendrés dans les aimants, dans laquelle le nombre (Na) d'aimants et le nombre (Nb) de bobinages d'excitation ainsi que la disposition des bobinages et des aimants les uns par rapport aux autres forment un motif élémentaire (me), ces nombres Na d'aimants, Nb de bobinages et Nme de motifs élémentaires étant modifiables en fonction, d'une part, d'une intensité de base (Ibase) souhaitée dans la machine, cette intensité de base étant déterminée lorsque les bobinages ne sont pas excités et, d'autre part, d'une intensité de modulation (Imod) souhaitée dans la machine, cette intensité de modulation étant déterminée lorsque les bobinages sont excités.
