Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé permettant d'épépiner des grenades consistant à réaliser une coupe périphérique de la peau de la grenade de manière à diviser en deux parties ladite grenade, à procéder ensuite à la coupe des deux moitiés par leur partie postérieure et à l'aide de griffes fixées latéralement sur chacune des moitiés, exerçant une pression supérieure plus importante que celle latérale des griffes, ce qui se traduit par l'expansion de la moitié fixée et l'enlèvement de la peau, sous l'effet d'un jet d'air à pression et/ou d'une vibration facilitant la séparation des pépins de la peau et leur chute ultérieure à travers une trémie sur une bande transporteuse. Ces pépins seront soumis à un traitement d'hygiénisation, de séchage de pesage et finalement d'emballage.
