Abstract

Es wird ein Ultraschall-Koppelmedium für die medizinische Diagnostik vorgeschlagen, das aus einem Strukturgel besteht, welches ein Grundgerüst aus PVA, Guar oder einer Mischung davon umfasst. Das neue Koppelmedium ist vorzugsweise semiliquide und bis zu einem 1/10 mm dicken Film ausziehbar, welcher einen Druck von bis zu 30 kp aushält, ohne zu reissen. Das Medium passt sich exakt an die Oberfläche der Haut an, ohne dass es zu wesentlichen Lufteinschlüssen kommt. Auch bei Haarbesatz der Haut kommt es beim Einsatz des neuen Koppelmediums zu keinen wesentlichen Lufteinschlüssen zwischen Medium und Schallkopf oder Haut. Bereits wenige Sekunden nach Entfernung von der Haut induziert das neue Medium kein Benetzungsgefühl mehr, und es ist rückstandsfrei von der Haut und den Haaren entfernbar. Das neue Koppelmedium ist für mindestens 1 Jahr haltbar und erfüllt die Anforderungen hinsichtlich der Induktion von Allergien oder Hautentzündungen.
