Abstract

L'invention a trait à un procédé de pontage cardiaque, selon lequel l'on procède à l'alimentation du système vasculaire en sang et/ou en substitut sanguin, par l'injection pulsée desdits sang et/ou substitut sanguin dans une artère, et par leur élimination du système vasculaire par l'intermédiaire des veines : L'apport de sang et/ou de substitut sanguin est effectué de façon que ces derniers pénètrent dans ladite artère selon une trajectoire hélicoïdale. L'invention concerne également, pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé, un appareil de pontage cardiaque et une canule vasculaire. L'appareil selon l'invention comprend un moyen de distribution de sang et/ou de substitut sanguin dans le système vasculaire selon un régime pulsatoire, un moyen d'oxygénation du sang et/ou du substitut sanguin, un moyen permettant de relier l'appareil aux veines, et un moyen permettant de relier l'appareil à une artère, qui est adapté de façon que le sang et/ou le substitut sanguin pénètrent dans ladite artère sous forme de flux hélicoïdal. La canule selon l'invention comprend un corps allongé possédant deux extrémités, la section adjacente à l'une desdites extrémités étant la partie de liaison de la canule, et la section adjacente à l'autre extrémité étant la partie fonctionnelle de la canule. Ladite canule se présente sous la forme d'une spirale. Un canal traversant est situé dans ledit corps allongé, de manière qu'un fluide entre dans ledit canal par l'extrémité adjacente à la partie de liaison de la canule, et en sorte par l'extrémité adjacente à la partie fonctionnelle de cette dernière.
