Abstract

L'invention concerne un essieu souple arrière pour véhicule automobile comprenant deux bras oscillants longitudinaux (12g, 12d), chaque bras étant articulé à un support de roue (16) à son extrémité (14) dirigée vers l'arrière du véhicule, et dont l'autre extrémité avant (18) est reliée à la carrosserie du véhicule, lesdits bras (12) étant reliés par une traverse (20), caractérisé en ce que l'extrémité avant (18) du bras oscillant gauche, respectivement droit, est reliée à la carrosserie par l'intermédiaire d'un palonnier gauche (24g), respectivement droit (24d), chaque palonnier étant relié mobile en rotation autour d'un axe sensiblement vertical à ladite extrémité avant et à la carrosserie, et en ce qu'un actionneur (26) relie les palonniers gauche et droit de manière à provoquer le pivotement de chaque bras dans un même sens par rapport à un axe sensiblement vertical.
