Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum Behandeln von Metallschmelzen, insbesondere Stahlschmelzen, mit einem Frischmittel aus Sauerstoff. Um eine Leistungssteigerung beim Frischen von Stahl zu erreichen, wird ein von einem Strahl gasförmigen Sauerstoffs umhüllter Strahl aus flüssigem Sauerstoff verwendet.
