Abstract

L'invention concerne un connecteur de carte mémoire. Ledit connecteur comprend un boîtier isolant présentant une section de montage de bornes définissant un réceptacle destiné à recevoir une extrémité d'accouplement d'une carte mémoire. Au moins une partie de paroi latérale longitudinale s'étend vers l'avant depuis une extrémité de la partie arrière. Une pluralité de bornes conductrices est montée sur la partie de montage de bornes arrière du boîtier pour venir en prise avec des contacts appropriés au niveau de l'extrémité d'accouplement de la carte mémoire lorsqu'elle est insérée dans le réceptacle. Une surface d'aspiration plate et élargie est présente sur le dessus du boîtier isolant. La surface d'aspiration présente une taille suffisamment importante pour recevoir une tête de préhension par aspiration appropriée permettant de manipuler et de placer le boîtier.
