Abstract

 横編機で編成するストライプ柄の筒状編地において渡り糸を筒状編地の内側に発生させて渡り糸の切断作業を不要にする。  複数コース編成毎に第1編糸と第2編糸を切り換えて第1の編地部分と第2の編地部分とを連続編成する。第1編地部分と第2編地部分とは第1編地部分を編成する第1編成工程と第2編地部分を編成する第2編成工程を交互に連続して行う。各編成工程では、後側給糸部材(前側給糸部材)を用いて前側編地(後側編地)の編み幅端部よりも内側から1コースを編み始めて、そのコースの編み始めと編み終わりを繋いで筒状にしながら次コースへと折り返し編成を行い、折り返し位置において編み幅の内側で各編糸を交差させる。

技術分野
[0001] 本発明は、横編機を用いて編まれる筒状編地にその編成の途中で編糸を切り換え てストライプ柄を入れるようにした筒状編地の編成方法およびストライプ柄を具える筒 状編地に関する。
背景技術
[0002] 横編機を使用して前側編地と後側編地が連続する筒状編地を編成する場合、各編 地の編目コースの編成を前側編地、後側編地、前側編地、と交互に編糸を供給して 周回編成してレ、くことで前側編地と後側編地が編み幅の両端で連結された筒状編地 を編成すること力 Sできる。
[0003] さらに、ストライプ柄を編成する場合には、例えば、給糸部材を左右どちらかの方向 に移動させながら後針床の針に給糸して後側編地のコース編成を行う。次に、前記 給糸部材を反対方向に移動させて前針床の針に給糸して同コースの前側編地のコ ース編成を行う。以降このコース編成を適宜回数繰り返して第 1の編地部分の編目コ ースを編成した後、色の異なる他の編糸に切り換えて同様な編成を行うことで第 2の 編地部分を編成する。
[0004] このように所要数の周回コース編成がなされる毎に編糸を切り換えて行くことで第 1 色、第 2色が交互に入ったストライプ柄を具える筒状編地を編成することができる。
[0005] 横編機では、給糸部材の初期位置は、通常針床長手方向の左右の何れか一端側 とされる。そして、一般的には、前側編地または後側編地の編み幅方向一端となる針 を周回編成の起点として編糸の切換が行われる。
[0006] さらに、周回編成の起点となる編糸の切換箇所では、渡り糸が発生し、この渡り糸 は、筒状編地の外側に発生する。このように筒状編地の外側に渡り糸が出ていると、 外観が損なわれることから、特許文献 1に示すように、編み立て後に渡り糸を切断し て、その端糸を筒状編地の内側に引き込んでレ、る。 [0007] 特許文献 1に示す筒状編地では、引き込んだ端糸から編目が解れださないように 編成途中で力がり付けの処理も同時に行っている。そして、渡り糸を切断して、編地 を伸張させて編地表面に出てレ、る端糸を編地内に引き込むようにしてレ、る。
[0008] また、渡り糸を切断せず、筒状編地の編地端部からゥエール方向 2— 3目内側のシ ンカーループに渡り糸をジグザグに絡ませて、渡り糸の一部が筒状編地の外側に現 れないようにしたストライプ柄を有する筒状編地もある(例えば特許文献 2を参照)。

発明の開示
発明が解決しょうとする課題
[0010] し力、しながら、特許文献 1に示すストライプ柄の筒状編地では、幅の狭いストライプ 柄を編成する場合、一色のコース数が少なくなるので、前記した渡り糸が短くなる。さ らに、ストライプが多数段形成される場合には、渡り糸の数も多くなる。このように多数 の短い渡り糸の切断作業は非常に煩雑であり、しかも、切断された端糸の長さが短い ので、編目が解れ易くなる。また、渡り糸が長くなつた場合には、切断された端糸を筒 状編地の内側に引き込ませ易くするために適当な長さに切断する必要がある。
[0011] また、特許文献 2に示すストライプ柄の筒状編地は、渡り糸を筒状編地の編地端部 力、らゥヱール方向 2 3目内側のシンカーループに編地の裏側力 絡ませるものであ るが、編糸切換箇所において糸の交差が筒状編地の外側に現れてしまう。
[0012] 本発明は、編糸切換により発生する渡り糸を筒状編地の内側に発生させて渡り糸 の切断作業を不要にできるストライプ柄を具える筒状編地の編成方法およびその筒 状編地を提供することを目的とする。
課題を解決するための手段
[0013] 本発明では、少なくとも前後一対の針床を有する横編機を使用して針床における 編み幅の側端部で前側編地と後側編地とが連結された筒状編地に、複数コース編 成毎に前側給糸部材と後側給糸部材とを用いて第 1と第 2の異なる編糸を切り換えて 第 1の編地部分と第 2の編地部分とを連続編成する部分を有するようにストライプ柄を 具える筒状編地を編成する方法であって、以下の第 1編地部分を編成する第 1編成 工程および第 2編地部分を編成する第 2編成工程により第 1編地部分と第 2編地部 分とを交互に連続編成することにより前記目的を達成することができる。
[0014] まず、第 1編成工程は、後側給糸部材を用いて前側編地の編み幅端部よりも内側 から 1コースを編み始めて、そのコースの編み始めと編み終わりを繋いで筒状にしな 力 Sら次コースへと折り返し編成を行うとともに、折り返し位置において前記編み幅の内 側で第 1編糸と第 2編糸を交差させる工程を含む。
[0015] 第 2編成工程は、前側給糸部材を用いて後側編地の編み幅端部よりも内側から 1コ ースを編み始めて、そのコースの編み始めと編み終わりを繋いで筒状にしながら次コ ースへと折り返し編成を行うとともに、折り返し位置において前記編み幅の内側で第 1 編糸と第 2編糸を交差させる工程を含む。
[0016] 本発明は、筒状編地を編成するにあたって、同方向に周回し続けるのではなぐ折 り返し編成(レ、わゆる C字状編成)を行って筒状に編成することを特徴としてレ、る。
[0017] この C字状編成は、前記した各編成工程におけるコース編始めループから一方の 編み幅端部位置まで編成した後に、対向する編地に移動して他方の編み幅端部ま で編成を行い、編み始めの編地に戻って残りのコースが編成される。次に、そのコー スの編み始めループと編み終わりループを繋ぎながら、折り返して次コースが同じよう に編成される。第 1編地部分の折り返し位置は前側編地内に設け、第 2編地部分の 折り返し位置は後側編地内に設けて、それぞれの編成を行う。
[0018] コースの編み始めと編み終わりを C字状編成で繋ぐ手段としては、ニットやタックな どが挙げられる。例えば、所定のコースの編み終わりループを形成した後、折り返し て次コースを編成する場合、折り返す前のコースの編み始めループが係止されてい る針にタックして、前コースの編み終わりループにゥエール方向に連続する編始めル ープを形成する。また、繋ぐ手段としてのニットやタックなどは、コースの編み始めと編 み終わりの両方またはいずれか一方で行うようにしてもよぐタックによる折り返し編成 が外観上好ましい。
[0019] コースの折り返し位置は、編み幅端部近くで行ない、近い側の編み幅端部へと先に 編成を行うことが好ましレ、。このように折り返し編成を行うことにより美しい筒状編地を 形成できる。 このとき、コースの折り返し位置でタックをする場合には、タックの位置は、編み幅端 部と端部から二目の位置の交互とし、タックをした後に隣のゥエールから編始めのル ープを形成することが好ましい。
[0020] また、折り返し位置において前記編み幅の内側で第 1編糸と第 2編糸を交差させる には、折り返し位置でループを形成する際に、前側給糸部材と後側給糸部材とを編 み幅の内側で交差させるようにする。
[0021] 折り返し編成と第 1編糸と第 2編糸の交差を行う方法としては、第 1編成工程と第 2 編成工程とを以下のステップにて行うようにすることが好ましい。
まず、第 1編成工程は、
前側給糸部材を前記編み幅の内側に位置させる第 1ステップ、
後側給糸部材を用いて前側編地を編み幅端部よりも内側から編み始めた後に一方 の編み幅端部まで編む第 2ステップ、
前側給糸部材を編み幅の外側に位置させる第 3ステップ、
前記第 2ステップと同じコースの後側編地と残りの前側編地を連続編成する第 4ステ ップ、
第 2ステップおよび第 4ステップで編成されたコースの折り返し位置から折り返して次 コースの前側編地を一方の編み幅端部まで編成した後に後側編地を連続編成する 第 5ステップ、
前側給糸部材を前記編み幅の内側に位置させる第 6ステップ、
第 5ステップと同じコースの残りの前側編地を編成する第 7ステップにより編成する。
[0022] また、第 2編成工程は、
後側給糸部材を前記編み幅の内側に位置させる第 1ステップ、
前側給糸部材を用レ、て後側編地を編み幅端部よりも内側から編み始めた後に一方 の編み幅端部まで編む第 2ステップ、
後側給糸部材を編み幅の外側に位置させる第 3ステップ、
本編成工程の前記第 2ステップと同じコースの前側編地と残りの後側編地を連続編 成する第 4ステップ、
本編成工程の前記第 2ステップおよび第 4ステップで編成されたコースの折り返し位 置から折り返して次コースの後側編地を一方の編み幅端部まで編成した後に前側編 地を連続編成する第 5ステップ、
後側給糸部材を前記編み幅の内側に位置させる第 6ステップ、
本編成工程の前記第 5ステップと同じコースの残りの後側編地を編成する第 7ステツ プにより編成する。
[0023] 即ち、本発明では、一方の編成工程の途中で休止中の給糸部材を編み幅の内側 と外側とに移動させて、編み幅の内側で双方の編糸の交差を行うようにしている。具 体的には、 1コース目の編始めから一方の編み幅端部までの編成中は、休止中の給 糸部材を、編み幅の内側に位置させておく。そして、この一方の編み幅端部までの 編成が終了した後に、休止中の給糸部材を編み幅の外側に移動させる。そして、折 り返し編成で次コースの編成がなされ、編み終わりのループが形成される針床での 編成に移る前まで、休止中の給糸部材を編み幅の外側に位置させておく。次に、休 止中の給糸部材を編み幅の内側に移動させた後、編み終わりのループまで編成を 行う。このように休止中の給糸部材を編み幅の内側と外側に移動させることにより、渡 り糸は、交差されながら編み幅の内側に形成される。
[0024] 上記したステップを含む第 1編成工程および第 2編成工程は、それぞれ 2コースを 一単位とした編成工程をとつている。したがって、第 1編成工程と第 2編成工程を 1回 ずつ交互に繰り返すことにより、 2コース毎に第 1編地部分と第 2編地部分が編成され る。
[0025] さらに、第 1編成工程および第 2編成工程の少なくとも一方を複数回連続させるよう にしてもよい。このように複数回連続させることにより、ストライプの幅を適宜変更する こと力 Sできる。
[0026] 本発明は、複数コース毎に編糸を切り換えて第 1編地部分と第 2編地部分とを連続 編成する部分を有するストライプ柄を具える筒状編地において、第 1編地部分と第 2 編地部分は、編み幅端部よりも内側に折り返し位置があり、第 1編地部分の折り返し 位置を前側編地内に、第 2編地部分の折り返し位置を後側編地内に設けて折り返し 編成することによって編み幅の内側で双方の編糸が交差し、各編地の渡り糸が完全 に筒状編地の内側に設けられているストライプ柄を具える筒状編地を提供できる。 発明の効果
[0027] 本発明では、前記した第 1編成工程と第 2編成工程を交互に繰り返すことにより、複 数コース毎に第 1編地部分と第 2編地部分を連続編成しながら編み幅の内側で双方 の編糸を交差させることができる。
[0028] その結果、本発明では、横編機を用いて編まれる筒状編地にその編成の途中で編 糸を切り換えてストライプ柄を入れる場合に、編糸の切換により発生する渡り糸が、筒 状編地の外側に出てしまうのをなくすることができる。
[0029] さらに、本発明では、一方の編成工程の途中で休止中の給糸部材を編み幅の内側 と外側とに移動させて、編み幅の内側で双方の給糸部材から給糸される編糸の交差 を行い、し力も、 C字状編成を編み幅の内側力 行って筒状に編成するようにしてい るので、糸の交差は筒状編地の内側に生じる。さらに、第 1編地部分と第 2編地部分 の折り返し位置を、それぞれ前側編地内と後側編地内に設けている。
[0030] そのため、渡り糸が筒状編地の外側に出ることが無くなり、外観が美しぐさらに、渡 り糸の切断作業が不要となる。また、本発明では、第 1編地部分と第 2編地部分の折 り返し位置を、それぞれ前側編地内と後側編地内に設けて、 C字状編成により筒状 編地を形成してレ、るので、編糸切換箇所に段差が発生しなレ、。
[0031] さらに、第 1編成工程および第 2編成工程の少なくとも一方を複数回連続させること ができるので、さまざまな幅のストライプを渡り糸の切断を行うことなく形成できる。
[0032] また、 C字状編成は、前記した各編成工程における各コースの編始め位置を編み 幅端部近くとし、この位置から近い側の編み幅端部位置まで編成した後に、対向する 編地に移動して編成を行うようにすれば、より美しい筒状の編地に編成できる。
特に、折り返し部をタックで繋ぐ場合には、このタックの位置を、編み幅端部および 端部から二目の交互に行なうようにすれば、さらに美しく完全な筒状の編地に編成で きる。
[0033] さらに、本発明の筒状編地によれば、渡り糸が筒状編地の内側にある外観の美し レ、ストライプ柄を具える筒状編地を提供できる。
[0034] なお、本発明におけるストライプ柄を具える筒状編地には、 2色のストライプ柄だけ ではなぐ 2色以上の糸を用いたストライプ柄にも適用できる。この場合、 3色目力 の ストライプは、従来のように渡り糸を切断させて、編地内部に端糸を引き込ませる。 3 色目からの渡り糸を切断させても、従来のように全ての渡り糸を切断する場合に比較 して、切断作業が楽になる。
発明を実施するための最良の形態

ぐ第 1実施形態 >
本発明の好適な実施の形態の一つとして、 2色のストライプを 2コース毎に交互に編 成する第 1実施形態について説明する。

[0038] また、筒状編地 1を構成する前側編地 11は前針床の針で、後側編地 12は後針床の 針でそれぞれ編成される。第 1編地部分 2は、後側給糸部材 6を用いて第 1編糸 7によ り 2コースずつ編成され、第 2編地部分 3は、前側給糸部材 4を用いて第 2編糸 5により 2コースずつ編成される。
後側給糸部材 6は、前側給糸部材 4よりも後側に位置され、各給糸部材は、横編機 の針床の長手方向に平行な糸道レールに沿って移動可能になっている。

さらに、第 1編地部分 2は、前針床に係止される前側編地 11の左端部のループが係 止される針 aとそれよりも 1目内側の針 bとの間が折り返し位置(図 1において Y-Y線で 示す)となる。また、第 2編地部分 3は、後針床に係止される後側編地 12の左端部の ループが係止される針 rとそれよりも 1目内側の針 sとの間が折り返し位置(図 1におい て Z-Z線で示す)となる。

[0049] 前記したステップ 1一ステップ 16を繰り返すことにより、第 1編地部分 2と第 2編地部 分 3を 2コース毎に連続編成して、 2色のストライプ柄を形成できる。第 1実施形態では 、第 1編糸 7と第 2編糸 5とを交差させるために、ステップ 7、ステップ 15に示すように、 一方の編地部分を編成している工程の途中で休止中の給糸部材を編み幅の内側に 移動させて、編み幅の内側で双方の編糸の交差を行っている。し力、も、タックによる 折り返し編成、いわゆる C字状編成を編み幅内部力 行って筒状に編成するので、 糸の交差は筒状編地の内側に生じる。
[0050] その結果、編糸の切換により発生する渡り糸が、筒状編地の外側に出ることが無く なり、筒状編地の外観が美しぐさらに、渡り糸の切断作業が不要となる。また、第 1編 地部分と第 2編地部分の折り返し位置を、それぞれ前側編地内と後側編地内に設け て、 C字状編成により筒状編地を形成しているので、編糸切換箇所に段差が発生し ない。

上記第 1実施形態では、第 1編地部分 2と第 2編地部分 3をそれぞれ 2コースずつ編 成したが、この第 2実施形態のように、第 1実施形態における第 1編地部分 2と第 2編 地部分 3のコース数を 2コースずつ増やすことにより、第 1編地部分 2と第 2編地部分 3 とを 4コースずつ編成することもできる。

[0063] ステップ 10aは、後側給糸部材 6が前側給糸部材 4による給糸の妨げにならないよう するために、後側給糸部材 6を左に移動させて編み幅の外側に位置させる。ステップ 11aは、前側給糸部材 4を図 5において右に移動させて前針床における前側編地 11 の左端部のループが係止される針 aに新たにループ Hを形成した後、右端部 (針 f)ま で前側編地 11を 1コース編成する。ステップ 12aは、前側給糸部材 4を図 5において 左に移動させて後針床における後側編地 12の右端部 (針 w)から左端部より一目内側 のループ Iが形成される針 sまで後側編地 12を編成する。
[0064] ステップ 13aは、前側給糸部材 4を図 5において右に移動させて折り返し、後針床に おける後側編地 12の左端部のループが係止される針 rにタック Jした後、隣の針 sで新 たにループ Kを形成し、右端部 (針 w)まで後側編地 12を編成する。ステップ 14aは、前 側給糸部材 4を図 5において左に移動させて前針床における前側編地 11の右端部( 針 f)から左端部のループ Lが形成される針 aまで前側編地 11を 1コース編成する。
[0065] ステップ 15aは、第 1編糸 7と第 2編糸 5とを交差させるために後側給糸部材 6を右に 移動させて編み幅の外側から内側に位置させる。ステップ 16aは、後側給糸部材 6を 編み幅の内側に位置させたまま、前側給糸部材 4を図 5において右に移動させて後 針床における後側編地 12の左端部のループが係止される針 rに新たにループ Mを形 成する。ループ Mが形成された後の第 2編糸 5は、第 2編地部分 3の第 2渡り糸 31とな る。前記したステップ 1一 8、 la— 8a、 9一 16、 9a— 16aを繰り返すことにより、第 1編 地部分 2と第 2編地部分 3を 4コース毎に連続編成して、 2色のストライプ柄を形成でき る。なお、第 2実施形態に限らず、第 1編成工程と第 2編成工程の各工程の連続回数 を任意の数で組み合わせることにより、さまざまな幅のストライプを渡り糸の切断を行う ことなく形成できる。
さらに、幅の広い(コース数が多レ、)ストライプ柄を編成する場合には、編糸切換箇 所の間で延びる渡り糸を適時、タックなどをして編地と連結させるようにすれば、渡り 糸がフリーな状態で長く延びるのを防ぐことができる。例えば図 4のステップ 2a, 7aや 図 5のステップ 10a, 15aのいずれかで、休止中の給糸部材を移動させる際に、タック などをして編地と連結させる。
[0066] 本発明では、編糸切換箇所は編み幅の側端近傍 2 5目とすることが好ましぐ特に 、第 1実施形態や第 2実施形態に示したように、編み幅側端部から 2目が最も好まし レ、。このように編糸切換箇所を編み幅の側端近傍とする場合は、主にニット衣類に適 している。
また、ニット衣類以外では、前記した実施形態のように編み幅近傍に限らず編み幅 の中央寄りで本発明の編成方法を行なうことも当然できる。
産業上の利用可能性
[0067] 本発明は、渡り糸を筒内部に設けるストライプ柄を有する筒状編地の編成に最適で める。

Claims

請求の範囲
[1] 少なくとも前後一対の針床を有する横編機を使用して針床における編み幅の側端 部で前側編地と後側編地とが連結された筒状編地に、複数コース編成毎に前側給 糸部材と後側給糸部材とを用いて第 1と第 2の異なる編糸を切り換えて第 1の編地部 分と第 2の編地部分とを連続編成する部分を有するようにストライプ柄を具える筒状 編地を編成する方法であって、以下の第 1編地部分を編成する第 1編成工程および 第 2編地部分を編成する第 2編成工程により第 1編地部分と第 2編地部分とを交互に 連続編成することを特徴とする。
1) 第 1編成工程は、
後側給糸部材を用いて前側編地の編み幅端部よりも内側から 1コースを編み始めて 、そのコースの編み始めと編み終わりを繋いで筒状にしながら次コースへと折り返し 編成を行うとともに、
折り返し位置において前記編み幅の内側で第 1編糸と第 2編糸を交差させる工程を 含む。
2) 第 2編成工程は、
前側給糸部材を用いて後側編地の編み幅端部よりも内側から 1コースを編み始めて 、そのコースの編み始めと編み終わりを繋いで筒状にしながら次コースへと折り返し 編成を行うとともに、
折り返し位置において前記編み幅の内側で第 1編糸と第 2編糸を交差させる工程を 含む。
[2] 請求項 1記載のストライプ柄を具える筒状編地を編成する方法において、
1) 第 1編成工程は、以下のステップを有する。
前側給糸部材を前記編み幅の内側に位置させる第 1ステップ、
後側給糸部材を用いて前側編地を編み幅端部よりも内側から編み始めた後に一方 の編み幅端部まで編む第 2ステップ、
前側給糸部材を編み幅の外側に位置させる第 3ステップ、
前記第 2ステップと同じコースの後側編地と残りの前側編地を連続編成する第 4ス テツプ、 第 2ステップおよび第 4ステップで編成されたコースの折り返し位置から折り返して 次コースの前側編地を一方の編み幅端部まで編成した後に後側編地を連続編成す る第 5ステップ、
前側給糸部材を前記編み幅の内側に位置させる第 6ステップ、
第 5ステップと同じコースの残りの前側編地を編成する第
2) 第 2編成工程は、以下のステップを有する。
後側給糸部材を前記編み幅の内側に位置させる第:
前側給糸部材を用いて後側編地を編み幅端部よりも内側から編み始めた後に一方 の編み幅端部まで編む第 2ステップ、
後側給糸部材を編み幅の外側に位置させる第 3ステップ、
本編成工程の前記第 2ステップと同じコースの前側編地と残りの後側編地を連続編 成する第 4ステップ、
本編成工程の前記第 2ステップおよび第 4ステップで編成されたコースの折り返し 位置から折り返して次コースの後側編地を一方の編み幅端部まで編成した後に前側 編地を連続編成する第 5ステップ、
後側給糸部材を前記編み幅の内側に位置させる第 6ステップ、
本編成工程の前記第 5ステップと同じコースの残りの後側編地を編成する第 7ステ ップ。
[3] 第 1編成工程および第 2編成工程の少なくとも一方を複数回連続させることを特徴 とする請求項 1または請求項 2に記載のストライプ柄を具える筒状編地の編成方法。
[4] コース編始め位置を編み幅端部近くとし、この位置から近い側の編み幅端部位置 まで編成した後に、対向する針床に移動して編成を行うことを特徴とする請求項 1か ら請求項 3のいずれかに記載のストライプ柄を具える筒状編地の編成方法。
[5] 複数コース毎に編糸を切り換えて第 1編地部分と第 2編地部分とを連続編成する部 分を有するストライプ柄を具える筒状編地において、第 1編地部分と第 2編地部分は 、編み幅端部よりも内側に折り返し位置があり、第 1編地部分の折り返し位置を前側 編地内に、第 2編地部分の折り返し位置を後側編地内に設けて折り返し編成すること によって編み幅の内側で双方の編糸が交差し、各編地の渡り糸が完全に筒状編地 の内側に設けられていることを特徴とするストライプ柄を具える筒状編地。
